What an amazing villa! From the photos, I was convinced it was going to be nice, but when we got there, it was really beyond our expectations! We were two families for a total of 9 people, and the layout of the villa was perfect for meeting our needs. The outdoor area is really our favorite part! The pool, the view... WOW! Not very far from La Fortuna for shopping and activities, but just far enough away not to be disturbed by tourists, this villa is definitely worth visiting. I would recommend it to anyone! Oscar was very responsive and super kind. The farm gave us fresh eggs every day, which is a big plus. Thank you for everything, Oscar!

Great stay for a family of seven! The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the beautiful landscape! I highly recommend this place!

Oscar's place was wonderful with gorgeous views from a hilltop overlooking the entire area. His farm was interesting and we saw his horses every morning. His landscaping makes you feel like you're in a natural park. Highly recommended!

Oscar’s house was perfect for our group of 11. The beds are comfortable, the outdoor space incredible, and very clean. Our favorite thing was visiting the horses daily and collecting fresh eggs. We had eggs every single day for breakfast and after dinner snacks. It is a great location to La Fortuna with a good view of the volcano and away from the hustle of town. I highly recommend!

A highly recommended place! The place is beautiful, quiet, spacious, luxurious and at the same time has a farm at the entrance of the property (less than 2 km from the house). Children and adults loved it. We look forward to returning soon.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was exactly as described: an authentic, family-owned farm experience, and that was what made it so memorable. The biggest surprise? Our teenagers absolutely LOVED the animals. They couldn’t get enough of exploring the property, meeting the horses, pigs, chickens, sheep, and especially Baloo, the friendly and gentle water buffalo. Riding Baloo was one of the unexpected highlights of our Costa Rica trip! Everyone on the farm was so kind and welcoming. We used Google Translate to chat with the family and staff, and despite the language barrier, they went out of their way to make us feel at home. The family villa was clean, comfortable, and had all the basic amenities we needed for our stay. We loved the pool! The host was also very easy to communicate with before and during our visit. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic Costa Rican farm experience where you can slow down and connect with nature, this place delivers exactly that.

It's really a beautiful location! 15 minutes by car from La Fortuna, away from the crowds. The house is on top of a hill, with a beautiful view! It's very well equipped, truly a luxury vacation villa. The hosts are very friendly, and the children were allowed to ride around the spacious grounds on the horses and the buffalo (Baloo). Thanks to Oscar, but also to Oscar's father!

A peaceful, beautifully designed retreat near La Fortuna We had such a wonderful stay at this property! It's the perfect balance — close enough to La Fortuna that we could easily pop into town for restaurants and activities, but far enough away that we woke up to total peace and quiet every morning. No traffic noise, no crowds, just birdsong and green all around. The design of the space really stood out to us. Every room had their own bathroom! Thoughtful, tasteful, and clearly put together with care — every detail felt intentional rather than generic. It's the kind of place that makes you want to just sit on the porch and take it all in. Cleanliness was spotless from the moment we walked in, which we always appreciate and don't take for granted. And the fresh eggs?! Such a lovely, unexpected touch — nothing beats farm-fresh eggs for breakfast while looking out at the Costa Rican countryside. Highly recommend this place!!

The accommodation is very pleasant, and the outside area with the pool is really a great plus. The interior is also spacious. The house is very clean.

Great 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath house near La Fortuna. We visited for a week with my two daughters (9 & 12), my in-laws, and my brother-in-law (total party of 7). It was nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Loved the pool and outdoor lounging area… that’s where we spent a lot of our afternoons. Not too far from La Fortuna and was convenient to most of the activities we did during the week. Was also nice to have a pizza place, coffee shop, and grocery store all within 5 minutes. Kitchen was stocked with some basic cookware, but if you cook a lot at the house, you will likely need to stock things like extra paper towels, trash bags, foil, etc. There are other rental houses on the property, but this house felt relatively private from the other ones. Overall was a great stay!
