We only stayed one night at Dalma’s place, and had a comfortable stay. There was some noise from the location just off the highway but it quieted down at night. Dalma helped us find her place as it was a little tricky to locate in the dark. She was very kind upon our arrival and checked in the next morning to see how we were. Her “frog juice” was delicious - sweet and gingery. Nice with a bit of rum too:)

The house is very clean, tidy. Very attentive to answering and helping us, for example there was no gas and they resolved it super fast. Overall very friendly The only thing was that the shower didn't work well. But it could be used well.

The stay with Dalma was an incredible experience, the area is very close to all the beaches such as Manzanillo, Punta Uva Arrecife, Playa Negra, about 15/20min from Puerto Viejo. The neighborhood is quiet, very walkable area, restaurants nearby. We had a bit of a problem with the wifi and Dalma tried to fix it but in the end it wasn't necessary since we didn't need it much. Thank you very much for the service.

Dalma's treatment is cordial and respectful. The place is very clean. I would include a screen in the windows. We brought our pets and we had no problems. I would only include another medium-sized frying pan, a slightly larger microwave oven, and a 4 or 5-liter air fryer. I hope to be back in the near future. Thank you so much for your kindness. And the Sapo water was the best I've ever tasted, thank you so much for the thoughtful touch.

Dalma is a fantastic host! So kind & helpful with our questions. The land is beautiful and close to the Cahuita Nat. Park, which meant we saw wildlife at our door steps (incl. sloths, howler monkeys, dart frogs, toucans, leaf-cutter ants and many geckos). The very large yard is shared with another house, where three kids and three dogs live. This was perfect for our kid; they had lots of fun with the neighbors. The house is located near the main road, almost halfway between Cahuita and Puerto Viejo (gas and groceries are very close in Hone Creek). It's very practical if you have a car and want to be independent in your travels, but also mean you can hear cars & trucks travelling. The house has all the basic necessities and is pretty simple. The AC and the fans were great. The laundry & cleaning supplies were useful. The house was spotless when we arrived. The geckos come in the house (to eat bugs) but leave traces, so we had to cleanup after them during our 5-week stay.

We really liked the place, very central to get around, private and cozy, I would definitely come back!

Excellent place, very good host, the house is super nice, clean and comfortable. My dogs were very comfortable, they enjoyed it very much because they had a lot of space and we couldn't have spent it better. Highly recommended, 20 out of 10

Dalma is a great host

Dalma is an amazing host. She was extremely accommodating and thoughtful. She left us a welcome beverage in the fridge that was delicious. She was in constant contact and made sure our stay was comfortable. The home is small but it has everything you should need. The property is secure and quiet. It is convenient to drive into town or to the beaches. The portable AC and fans helped keep the home cool and comfortable. The outdoor space is plentiful and you can see various types of wildlife such as toucans. Thanks for the hospitality!

Too nice, everything is an excellent vacation. We had with my Dalma family super nice and the house is very nice and everything is very clean, really what we needed to recharge batteries. I hope to come back soon
