Thanks, but no thanks. Vanessa booked the place at the last minute, begging for a place to stay overnight. We didn't expect anyone at the last minute, and also didn't expect that someone who wanted to spend a few hours would be so concerned about cooking. If she had told us that she needed more cooking ustensils, we could have helped. We have basic kitchen equipment, but not a full cooking setup. One can see in the photos. She had a microwave, a two burner stove, refrigerator, dishes and basic silverware. We specifically asked her whether she needed anything. Her response was, "Everything looks perfect. Thanks a bunch." Why do people return courtesy with meaness?! We gave her 5 stars and now other host are misled, thinking what a nice guest! As a host herself, it is very disingenuous to nitpick on some trivial aspects, having spent just a few hours in a place and trash someone's efforts at pleasing the guest. Pretty inconsiderate!

This review is clearly made in bad faith. We just discovered that there was a faulty breaker at the ICE meter, causing the electricity to fluctuate in the building, until the breaker went bad entirely. Some outlets had power, some didn't. Once we found out, we immediately fixed it. What was his other complaint? Bad smell in 'one' of the two bathrooms? We didn't find any bad smell. Maybe he didn't flush the toilet. Is that a reason to give us a spiteful rating of 1 ?! We gave him 5 stars, since we didn't have any issues at the time. Why didn't he contact us so that we could address any perceived problem? He arrived just before midnight and left early in the morning. But even at 1:00AM we could have given him access to another a bathroom in the adjacent apartment, if needed. All other guests have us 5 stars. Why do people do such gratuitous harm ? This type of malevolent, derogatory rating just undermines the purpose of feedback, and one dishonest person can ruin a good reputation.
