We waited until we got home to write this review to see what stayed with us most—and the answer is simple: we can't wait to come back. This home is even more beautiful in person. Every detail, from the tile work to the finishes, feels thoughtfully designed and luxurious. The pool is gorgeous, and the setting is unforgettable. We loved waking up to toucans, hummingbirds, monkeys, and the sounds of the jungle. The outdoor bathtub was one of our favorite features. The location is perfect, with a fantastic restaurant, coffee shop, and supermarket just a short walk away. Playa Linda is nearby and quickly became one of our favorite beaches—quiet, beautiful, and home to scarlet macaws. After a six-hour drive, having access to the wine cellar for a chilled rosé was such a thoughtful touch. The concierge was also outstanding, with excellent communication throughout our stay. A truly special place that perfectly blends luxury, nature, and relaxation. We can't wait to return.

Best Vacation Ever! If you are looking to stay at an amazing home in Costa Rica, this is the one! Everything about it was perfection. The concierge service was absolutely top notch and handled all of our tour bookings flawlessly. Giovanna was a fabulous host and provided support for our trip every step of the way. At the home we saw toucans, parrots, kapuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, and so much more. You can just literally sit by the pool and bird watch all day long if you wanted to. So much wildlife right outside your back door. It will be hard to ever beat a more memorable home than this one. Thank you to the Villa Sueno team for making this a vacation of a lifetime. We hope to go back one day….

Our stay at this villa in Osa was absolutely incredible! The views were breathtaking—lush jungle surrounding us with stunning ocean views that seemed to go on forever. Waking up each morning to the sounds of nature and watching the sunsets over the ocean was truly unforgettable. What made the experience even better was the exceptional service from both the owner and concierge. Since this was our first visit to Costa Rica, they made everything so easy by helping us plan activities, providing recommendations, arranging excursions, and answering all of our questions. Their local knowledge and attention to detail allowed us to relax and simply enjoy the experience. If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful retreat with amazing views and outstanding hospitality, this villa is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return!

Villa Sueño does nothing but exceed expectations. The villa itself is beautiful (somehow even better than the pictures if that’s possible), the interior design is luxurious and spacious, and the location/views really are breathtaking. Giovanna and her staff truly went above and beyond in curating a vacation to remember forever - from the wildly beautiful villa itself to excursions, restaurant recommendations, to overall service, I can’t begin to tell you how amazing this place is. If you are planning to stay even remotely in the area, you are missing out by not booking this place. Even if you’re not sure where you want to stay in Costa Rica in general, come here and you’ll be treated to an unforgettable trip. We will definitely be back soon to experience all the beauty Villa Sueño has to offer all over again.

The property was stunning and better than the photographs. We will absolutely return. We appreciated the interior and exterior design, and the placement on the edge of a hill with a stunning view of a forest valley. As you're quite high up, you're able to see countless birds - we saw many toucans, aracari, macaws in the distance and even a laughing falcon eating a snake. All this from the pool. Despite the openness, the property is very private, and has a good restaurant, cafe and convenience store next door. Things to be aware of are you need a 4x4 to get up the hill, and that the power supply can be patchy, though the backup batteries cover this. Both these points are applicable everywhere in Costa Rica. We cannot wait to return!

This place is truly an oasis tucked within the lush canopy of the Costa Rican jungle. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the care and intention put into every detail, it’s peaceful, grounding, and deeply nourishing. Giovanna and her concierge services went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and special. Every recommendation, every touchpoint, felt thoughtful and personalized. What makes it even more special is the location, you’re just a quick walk to Sibu Café, Scala restaurant, and even a small market that has everything you need, so you don’t have to drive down from the jungle. It’s become one of our favorite places, somewhere we return to again and again, and always leave feeling restored.

Easy access to the property. Beautiful and comfortable facilities, with very well-maintained and thoughtful details. We felt immersed in the tropical forest.

Our group loved our stay at Villa Sueno. We felt pampered and exceptionally well taken care of by the team. The outdoor living space was particularly wonderful.

This was the best Airbnb experience we have ever had, and it will be difficult to ever top it. The home itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of both the ocean and the jungle. Watching the sun set over the ocean from the infinity pool was truly unforgettable. Giovanna ensured every part of our trip was meticulously planned. She was incredibly responsive and she went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. We had a private mixologist to be on property. Diego exceeded every expectation and then some. Diego is one of the most talented and thoughtful mixologists we have ever experienced. His drinks were creative and always tailored to individual preferences. Beyond his talent, Diego brought incredible energy and warmth. Diego may honestly have been the highlight of our entire trip. We also had a private chef. Juan Pablo’s cuisine was exceptional. Every meal was outstanding. He and his team were a joy to have in the home. This was a once in a lifetime experience!

Words truly cannot describe how incredibly beautiful this house and location are. We have stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, but we have never experienced a host like Giovana. She goes above and beyond in every possible way to make sure her guests have everything they need and feel completely comfortable and cared for. Giovana organized an amazing couples massage for us, which was such a special experience, and an evening with a private chef — honestly, the best food we have ever had. Every detail was perfect. You can see and feel how much heart and passion she has poured into this place. The decoration, the atmosphere, everything is done with so much love. The location itself is simply breathtaking. Sitting there, watching toucans and macaws fly by, surrounded by nature, was pure magic. It was peaceful, beautiful, and unforgettable. This was not just a stay — it was an experience we will always treasure. We are deeply grateful and would return without hesitation.

We absolutely loved staying here. The house felt very clean and the layout was wonderful. We spent so much time outside by the pool just watching the wildlife and the sunsets. I am a wildlife photographer, and we were able to see so many different animals without ever leaving the house. Sloths, toucans, monkeys, iguanas, so many hummingbirds and other tropical birds. Giovanna was extremely communicative, along with the concierge. We took advantage of booking the chef for the night we arrived, and he was fantastic. The food was incredible and he was super personable. We will definitely be staying here again. You should definitely rent a 4x4. There is a grocery store 5-10 minutes down the road, along with a bakery if you want to grab coffee, sandwiches, etc.

I celebrated my birthday here, and it was truly unforgettable! Giovanna and her amazing team went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. From housekeeping, our driver, property manager, security, and mixologist—everyone was kind, professional, and incredibly responsive. The house was pristine, beautiful, and felt like a true home away from home. Giovanna organized everything we asked for, from the birthday cake and dinner to excursions, making the trip seamless and stress-free. She made me feel so special on my birthday, and I’m beyond grateful. When one of our friends had a medical emergency, the team showed genuine care, flexibility, and exceptional support. I can’t thank Giovanna enough for her hospitality and warmth. This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica!
