We had a great time at Priscilla’s place. The house was super comfortable, clean, with all necessary amenities, and it was the perfect base to explore the area. We loved how peaceful it is with the flow of the river below. Priscilla was a great host too - we had challenges getting to our Airbnb on time due to the rains and blocked roads, and Priscilla cared deeply and was flexible in accommodating us. Highly recommended!

The place is very nice and the area is extremely quiet, perfect for enjoying a weekend break. The house was super well equipped and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was very clean and quite comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you could need. The jacuzzi was a big plus, especially if it rains a lot, since you don't have to go out and look for another place to enjoy yourself. You can stay in the house and have a great time. Priscila's service was excellent: she was always very attentive, responded quickly, and was very kind at all times. Definitely a place we would go back to. Highly recommended!

We had some fantastic days at the Elixir accommodation. We were very comfortable and the surroundings were unbeatable. Getting up in the mornings and going down to the river to take a walk and a swim has been incredible. And in the afternoons, when we got back from the excursions, we had the hot tub ready for relaxing. In addition, Priscilla and her husband's service made us feel at home, and they helped us with everything we needed. They are a super friendly and very generous couple. We didn't extend our stay here any longer because we had to continue our route through Costa Rica, but if not, we would have stayed longer :)

We have had a great time in La Fortuna and it was made extra special with the time spent at this beautiful villa. Even before we reached Priscilla had been very helpful in sorting out some local transport etc for us. It goes to show that out of 4 days that we stayed in La Fortuna we spent 2 whole days just at the villa. The spot by the riverside is beautiful and the hot tub overlooking Arenal volcano was lovely too. One morning we did a beautiful but steep walk to the La Fortuna waterfall along beautiful countryside. La Fortuna town was also close enough and it was very easy to call an Uber to take us into town. Thank you Priscilla for enabling us to have such a great time and for all your help and advice. All the best.

Debbie and I travel extensively and prefer airbnbs and this was by far the best one we've ever stayed in. The grounds are amazing, being right on the river, and we enjoyed having coffee on the Riverside terrace every morning. It is only 5 minutes from La Fortuna. And we have never experienced such rapid response from a host like Priscilla. She provided great suggestions on places to eat and activities as well as responded to simple routine requests in literally less than 2 minutes.

Very nice and clean house. The new building next door naturally restricts the view a bit. There is, of course, a lot to see in the area, and the house is easily accessible. Very good communication that makes it easier to feel comfortable. The air conditioning smells unpleasant, but otherwise it's tolerable. The house has everything you need.

This stay was so amazing! The house is perfectly located, it was a short drive from all of the activities we planned. The house itself was very nice, but the views from any door and window made the experience 1000% better. Book, you won’t regret it!

The place is incredibly beautiful. We were amazed at how well maintained and clean it was, full of details that made the stay fascinating. We didn't want to leave, but there were already other reservations booked. Priscila responds very quickly and is always willing to help. It was certainly an unforgettable experience.

We had the absolute best time at this villa and are already dreaming about going back! As a family of four with two teenagers, the layout and amenities were absolutely perfect for our needs. The place is super modern, incredibly clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature. Having a beautiful, scenic river right in the backyard was an incredible highlight! We spent our days exploring and then thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi in the evenings — it was the perfect way to unwind! The host was fantastic! Their communication was so proactive and always spot on, which made everything stress-free. We felt well taken care of throughout our entire trip. We highly recommend this villa to any family looking for a clean, modern, and nature-filled getaway!

Location is ideal as it's so close to everything we wanted to do and the place was perfect for my family of 4 (2 adult daughters). Having that stream next to the property is like a soothing white noise maker on at all times. And Priscilla made everything easy along the way to help with my stress of traveling to a different country.

Very communicative and helpful host. Location is stellar. You can see the volcano from the porch and hot tub. A private beautiful river down some stairs to enjoy in the morning. Close to everything you’d want to do. Probably the best AirBnB experience I’ve ever had.

Such a beautiful home! We had a lovely time, and the hosts really went out of their way to accommodate us! There were thoughtful details, like little decorative lights for eating at the outdoor table at night; coffee, sugar and tea; a well-stocked kitchen; and plastic dishes for children (in addition to higher quality ceramic options for adults), which was wonderful as we were traveling with a toddler! The hot tub and walk to the river were especially wonderful. The home felt very safe and was very private, behind a private gate. The views of Arenal and the sound of cicadas and the river were wonderful. The air conditioning worked well. We would definitely return!

Everything was beautiful

Cannot recommend this place enough! Priscilla was so helpful and went out of her way on one occasion to help with an unexpected situation. The access to the river is such a unique and special perk. We saw a howler monkey, two toucans, poison dart frogs, and many other birds and critters. If you’re looking to prioritize nature on your trip to Costa Rica, this is the place to stay in La Fortuna.

A great stay - comfortable and beautiful!

Great place to stay in La Fortuna. House was secure and private, even with shared units nearby you feel like you are alone in the jungle. Shared space near the river was fun to explore. Howler monkeys in the trees next to the house on multiple days, even saw a sloth and toucan. Only minor thing was the beds could have been softer, but not important in a setting like this. Would stay here again.

All I can say about Priscilla's home is WOW. What a beautiful place with a jaw-dropping view. Not only was the home clean, organized, and decorated nicely, but she was even kind enough to leave us a welcome gift! I am not much of a morning person, but I was awake every day to see the sunrise. The way the light broke through the trees in the backyard was stunning. There is something beautiful to see every where you look. And relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and sight-seeing was the cherry on top. Priscilla was extremely communicative and responsive. We will definitely be staying with her again in the future. We had the most wonderful time in the most picturesque place. Thanks, Priscilla!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The inside was beautiful, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We were extremely impressed by the outdoor amenities- the plants, animals, walking paths, and the river. We also loved using the jacuzzi. Would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful little house, conveniently located near La Fortuna. Rental apartment nearby, but the way the property is laid out, you can't see it. It really feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle. The sound of the river, the birds, the vegetation, etc. The setting is exceptional. Priscilla is an excellent host; she responded quickly and made sure everything went smoothly. 100% recommended.

We loved staying here! We were greeted by the sound of tumbling water from the river when we checked in. The access to the river with a nice area to enjoy a lunch, makes this place really special. One morning we saw a family of monkeys on a distant tree. The grounds are beautiful with various species of orchids. La Fortuna waterfall is very close. Priscilla was very helpful to suggest nice restaurants. We especially liked Travesia. Thank you for offering such a memorable stay!

This is simply a beautiful, private little cottage! Great location- off the beaten path of downtown which helps the privacy, but close enough to drive to everything you want to see. Not really walkable, you need a car/uber to get to places. The hot tub was amazing after long days of exploring/adventuring! You can listen to the river while you relax and unwind. This little house is set off by itself, giving you a lot of privacy- it has a gate and a private entrance. Pri was quick to respond to questions and very flexible with schedule changes. We would stay here again for sure.

Very nice, well kept and beautiful

Priscilla was the best host from the beginning. I’ve been tu many countries and she was by far the most accommodating with helping us with air bnb and transportation recommendations that were more than amzining!! The air bnb itself is the most beautiful nature and the river is so breathtaking. If you love the outdoors you will never want to leave. After hiking the hot tub is such an added bonus. We will definitely be back to enjoy this beautiful, very well furnished and ever so private home! Our friend had a death in the family and had to leave early and Priscilla again went above and beyond to help us with our language barrier. Costa Rica is a love language by itself but with Priscilla on your side you will only enjoy it more. Thank you & Pura Vida friends!!

We had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed the hot tub every night! Cute and cozy and perfect for what we wanted!

Great stay. Loved the outdoor space. Note that if you want the hot tub ready for your arrival, you should let the host know for what time. It takes quite a while to heat but well worth the wait.

If you’re looking for a peaceful jungle retreat - This has got it all. Their backyard is an animal sanctuary. We saw toucans and monkeys. The location is walkable to town. The river on property was so peaceful. The host was very responsive and easy to deal with. We would 10/10 recommend this place.

Lovely home and a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio and using the hot tub. Lots ofSteps down to the river but absolutely worth it, and wish I had discovered that area by the river sooner because it’s like a little paradise!

Only one thing to say: we hope to visit again soon! Everything was great, Priscilla’s house was beautiful, peaceful, a little piece of heaven! The river and the view of the volcano in the backyard bring little magic to this place! Unfortunately we spent only 2 nights in La Fortuna but we are already planning to visit again soon as you have so many things to do here and Priscilla s place will be the only rental we will look to book! Super close to every activities and still extremely quiet! If you are looking at this rental, book it!

Very nice place, everything is as shown in the photos

We had a great stay here. There is a path with multiple steps down to a lovely area to hang out by the river. Theres even WiFi down there if you want it! The inside was clean and so nicely set up. The road has a dirt section with some potholes, but it was no problem even for our 2w drive car.

Highly recommend this place! Secluded with a private gated entrance and lit walking path down to the river.

Our family stayed at Priscilla's villa for 7 nights -- and it was awesome. If you love nature, this property can't be beat. There is a semi-private trail down some steep steps to the Tabicon river. We saw more wildlife from the Villa's porch and down by the river than we did on paid guided excursions. A sloth, an otter, tucans, other strange birds and small mammals, and lots of monkeys. Pri communicates everything clearly and promptly. She is a genuinely nice human being who would have probably have come and cooked us dinner if we asked :-) Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I had an absolutely lovely time at this spot. The villa felt so private and peaceful. The views were incredible and really made you feel fully immersed in nature. Priscilla was a great host, responded quickly to any and all questions, and also gave great recommendations for who to contact regarding a private couples massage which we had on the back deck. We would absolutely come back 😊

We stayed 2 nights (2 adults and 2 children) at the Fortuna. Priscilla is an amazing host. Everything was perfect, the accommodation is high-end and so cozy. Priscilla had answers to all our questions, she gave us great advice! The jacuzzi is so comfortable on the edge of the forest and the private access to the river is fantastic. Too bad we didn't have more time at Fortuna... we highly recommend this place with Priscilla ☺️

Beautiful place close to town, but it didn’t feel like it. Beautiful view of the volcano, and the area by the river was gorgeous!

The airbnb was very nice and clean. It has a creek below so its nice to hear the water running through the day. It was close to a lot of things in la fortuna. Hosts was very nice and always responded in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful! Speechless. 🥰 The apartment is just as shown in the photos, with a direct view of the river and the volcano. You have everything you need in the kitchen, beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms, a spacious and relaxing Jacuzzi. The recreation area by the river is wonderful to enjoy the river as a family. Priscila was very friendly and communicative! Thank you for everything! We hope to come back soon 💗 A small observation: the street to get to the apartment (maybe only about 200 meters) is not in the best condition for low cars, but it is not inconvenient to get there. It was a magnificent experience ❤️

What an amazing experience. Like a whole vacation away from vacation. Perfect to relax and feel completely alone even though super close to everything. Beautiful walkable road with volcano views. The river trail and surrounding patio areas are just incredible, not sure how they built that but such an amazing private river. The hot rob on the patio in the rain while listening to the river will never escape my mind. Clean, modern, great lighting. The only downside was that it wasn’t available for longer! Pura Vida!

Priscilla is very friendly and super attentive, she was not only interested in renting her house but she was interested in us enjoying La Fortuna. The house is amazing, more than the photos can show, definitely the access to the river gives it that unique and exclusive touch!

The place is very clean and is just a few minutes' drive from the center. Priscilla responds within minutes and addresses every concern. The highlight is the hot tub, which is easy to use and is automatically turned on in the evening. This place was my best Airbnb experience in Costa Rica so far.

Wow! What a gem of a place to stay! I already miss sitting with my morning coffee, listening to the birds and looking out at the volcano…. We loved the beautiful setting with the insects and birds and plants on our doorstep. The river was also stunning. The house itself is perfect for a holiday stay… beds are comfy, storage for clothes, a lovely clean bathroom and a laundry area for washing and drying. The kitchen was great for preparing simple meals and we enjoyed using the BBQ. We loved being able to use the hot tub on the terrace and Priscilla was very accommodating in changing the timings of it depending on what activities we had on that day… Top tip! If you want an insect show then leave the outside lights on when you go for dinner. We came back and have never seen such huge insects on the terrace! 😂 We would thoroughly recommend staying here and would love to return one day!

we loved the views of the volcanoes from the back of the house. and the sounds from the river were very soothing. we had a lot of rain during our stay and this was a great place to enjoy it from. definitely our favorite AirBnB of all time! having the washer and a drying room was also very helpful! and our host was able to turn on the hot tub for us remotely, just by messaging her in the app which was very impressive!! 😁

Beautiful little house at the end of a road so very peaceful. Surrounded by jungle vegetation and flowers. Deck was a peaceful place to spend the evening, we could hear the river below. Beds were on the hard side but I did not have a problem with them. The interior was neat and clean, small kitchen but still had everything we needed. Great value for the beauty of this place. Close to the city but felt like you were in the jungle

One of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at! The views were absolutely breathtaking i loved the whole area by the river even the stairs to get down to the river was beautiful! Priscilla was so sweet I told her it was gonna be my birthday and she decorated it for me with balloons a basket with chocolate champagne I literally wanted to cry when I walked in because it was just so perfect and so thoughtful 🥹 she also replied so fast everytime I texted her she is amazing Thank you so much again Priscilla for making my trip beyond perfect!!!! We had an amazing stay at Elixir Arenal! Our favorite times were spent outside on the patio enjoying the rainstorms and birds calling while in the hot tub. The river was also a beautiful spot to read or even nap. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed to make a couple meals at home, and the house was a short drive from markets and delicious restaurants (Chante Verde just down the road was our favorite). Priscilla was very responsive and always willing to adjust the hot tub time for us as we were traveling with kids. Would 100% recommend.
