Everything was excellent: the place, the service from the hosts, the beach, and the pool. An incredible place to enjoy as a family.

The place had clear instructions for access and expectations. The property manager onsite was great. She was helpful and informative. There was a ton of unique wildlife. A number of fruit trees to pick from and look at. We felt safe and had a great time.

Very satisfied. This is my second time staying at Casa Lapas, and I have no complaints. It's the perfect place to go with the whole family or friends.

The place is just as described in the photos and description. Damaris is super friendly and helpful. Everything was exceptional. We were a group of more than 10 people, and we had no complaints. We would gladly go back. The power went out at night, and there were even emergency lights and candles.

Our family had a great stay. Randall and Doña Damaris are responsive/helpful hosts. If you like the jungle and being near the beach, you won't be disappointed. The property is in partial transition (dilapidated pool slide in the process of being demolished) and the house could use a coat of paint and some tile repair. However, the A/C works well in every room and the kitchen/dining area was spacious enough for our group of 12. VERY close to public beach and other fun activities in Puntarenas.

Our stay was amazing; the place is super comfortable, quiet, and clean. My wife and I visited Casa Lapas for more than two weeks, as well as 5 of our grandchildren over our two week stay. We stayed for 17 days, and were happy with Casa Lapas, Playa Banderas. The house gave us privacy without being far away from every thing. We walked to the beach enjoyed the pool, and all the beautiful animals in this area of Costa Rica. Monkeys were a joy to watch every morning, as well as the Red Macaws, the iguanas, lizards and wild birds that call Casa Lapas and this neighborhood their home. Damaris the local point person for this property, was very sweet and helpful throughout our stay. Ryan was in touch throughout our stay, and was quickly to respond whenever we needed him to. We highly recommend him and his B&B to anyone looking for an authentic Costa Rica visit. Pura Vida!

We absolutely loved this rural property for the peacefulness and privacy. Yet it was a very reasonable drive to activities, get groceries,etc. What really makes this place extra special is the wonderful grounds keepers, Demaris, Jorge, Dael, and Keva. We loved all of the natural animal sightings, being able to check out the mangrove and the short distance to the beach. We are already planning on returning next year ❤️

The second time I've been to this place and it is extremely beautiful, a super quiet and very well-kept place, highly recommended. Don Randall is very kind and attentive, as are the people who take care of the place. I will definitely come back whenever I can

This place is great for a gathering of friends and family. The pool is very nice, and the setup is perfect for a group hang. There is glass "party room" (that's what we called it) with the kitchen and dining room and living area which is totally separate from the building with the four enormous bedrooms and bathrooms. This is connected by a breezeway with the bar in it. A pretty sweet setup. The house is about 20 minutes away from Parrita which is convenient. Don't sleep on the Bamboo Cafe right near the public beach...it was the best meal we had in Costa Rica. There is a public access point to the beach close to the house, which makes the beach a 10 minute walk. The waves and current are pretty strong here though, so be careful.

A cool house off the beaten path, kids loved the monkeys and lizards in the yard. Everyone was very helpful if we needed anything and we had a great time
