The staff at the villa was so fantastic, responsive, and helpful. We had a walkthrough of the whole place when we arrived and felt absolutely welcomed! We had a small accident with a clumsy coffee pot drop and they immediately were so understanding and replaced it. They were also responsive throughout the stay if there were issues and were flexible with check out on the last day. Overall we stayed for five nights and the beautiful location, beach access, plant life, and accommodations were the cherry on top to a perfect vacation. We were so in love with the Playa Negra area and would come back again in a heartbeat!! 💗 (Don’t forget to check out “Soda Mirna” across the street, the food was some of the best we’d had in CR!)

A lovely and secluded stay. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. There’s direct access to the beach which was not busy at all. Beautiful and would definitely come back.

The Airbnb is handled by a management team and the onsite staff is extremely friendly, competent and knowledgeable regarding the activities in the surrounding area. Our unit and the grounds were impeccably clean. Upon our arrival we were surprised with a welcome gift of wine and chocolate! Our unit - Garden #4 although partially open aired felt private and was very peaceful. We were also surprised with a mid-stay cleaning as we were there for 10 nights. I am a bit "fussy" about a fresh towel and although I respect their resources are different than where I live there was never an eye roll when I wanted to switch out my towels like you find in so many Caribbean locations. We had a car and explored quite a bit of the area - sure there looked like there were other cute places to stay but when something works so seamless there really is no reason to look... any return trip to the Puerto Viejo area will include a stay at Villas Serenidad we already miss our new friends aka the staff!

Beautiful and clean home. Lovely garden full of life- little lizards, dart frogs, hummingbirds, exotic birds, butterflies, and beautiful flowers. And is there anything better than having a private beach? That was my absolute favorite part! Nice kitchen, full size fridge, hot showers, good ac in the bedrooms. Beautiful covered deck with ocean breezes to cool off with. Would definitely recommend

David and Karen were great. They did everything possible to make it so that we enjoyed our stay in Costa Rica and we truly appreciate it!

What a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. It was a private and comfortable jungle oasis that gave us access to everything we wanted to experience while being a haven to escape to for rest when we were ready. Absolute perfection!

This place was honestly perfect. From the moment we got there, it felt calm and welcoming. The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. You can tell they really cares about their guests — he checked in to make sure we were comfortable but also gave us our space to just relax. The best part was the view of the beach — waking up to the sound of the waves and sitting outside with coffee every morning was unreal. It felt private but still close enough to everything we wanted to do. Couldn’t recommend it more thank you, for being such an amazing host!

Great place to stay near to Puerto Viejo. Enjoyed the direct beach access a lot. The hosts were super friendly and very responsive - even though we arrived very late they provided an in-person greeting. Thanks a lot for having us!🤙🏽
