Our stay at Ian’s home was absolutely incredible and exceeded every expectation! From the moment we booked, Ian was one of the most responsive, thoughtful, and helpful hosts we’ve ever had. Before we arrived, he helped arrange our rental car, excursions, and gave us amazing local recommendations. Thanks to him, we enjoyed horseback riding on the beach, a catamaran cruise, deep-sea fishing, and incredible beachfront restaurants with authentic Costa Rican food. The home is even more beautiful in person—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, spacious, and located in a peaceful gated community. The private pool and landscaping made it feel like our own luxury retreat, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The layout was perfect for our family of four and gave everyone plenty of space and privacy. Ian truly went above and beyond to make our vacation unforgettable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and cannot recommend him or his beautiful home enough!

An excellent place, very nice clean and quiet I loved it

Very nice house, very well-equipped kitchen. It was tidy and clean. The photos are real. A quiet and family-friendly place. Ian was available the whole time to help us with any questions. I would definitely come back.

Ian's house is a comfortable and lovely place, a haven of tranquility and peace near the main beaches of Guanacaste (Tamarindo, Avellanas, Playa Grande). Outside, it features a BBQ and a private pool. Communication with Ian and his team was easy and smooth, and I certainly hope to return

Ian’s place exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice—it was even more beautiful in person. It was the perfect place for our family vacation, and having a pool along with a fully equipped kitchen made our stay even more enjoyable. Ian’s recommendations were very helpful, and he was responsive and attentive throughout our stay, making the entire experience smooth and memorable. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our 2nd time booking this property hosted by Mr. Ian. Our first experience booking with him was nothing short of exceptional as well as the location is easily navigable. It’s a great set up for friends, family or traveling paired couples. You feel right at home. Outside of being an upstanding and professional host and I mean this in a non-bias way. When you book a property through him, he is more than proactive and responsive to making sure your stay is an EXPERIENCE. Not just a place to stay. The impression you received from him is how passionate and how much love he has for Costa Rica and most importantly the local people. I would not book with anyone else but him when staying in Tamarindo. He’s gonna put you on any resource you will need in the area or even outside the area.

Ian was very, very kind and helpful. From booking excursions to helping out with anything that needed to be fixed, Ian was very helpful with it all! Very well recommended!

The accommodation is very nice and cozy. Also, Ian was flexible with check-in and checkout times, which was a big plus, and the place is quite safe. Another important point for electric car owners is that the laundry room is the first thing you see when you enter the house, so you can charge your car at the 220-volt outlet in the garage, but you have to keep the door open.

Overall value for money and nice place as listed. Somewhat off the beaten path and definitely would need a vehicle to tour local area; nothing is too far away. Ian is extremely responsive and insightful.
