Experience was overall fun for the family. The house allows for a real Costa Rica experience in that other than the bedrooms, the house is essentially "open" to nature. It does make it difficult to enjoy the main living area with the family since you cannot close off and cool the main downstairs area. The only areas that can be cooled are the bedrooms which could use at least 1 piece of furniture for clothes. The only area to sit and relax inside is the couch which could use some cleaning. Cooking was a little difficult due to the layout so we decided to eat out every night which was great since there are amazing restaurants in the area. Location was great and views were very nice. We did have security bring in the pool cushions at night in order to use them the next morning since it rains at night. Owner was very responsive and concierge was very helpful. Overall, a good experience.

An honest review. Pros: Coolest looking house in all of Santa Teresa. Security guard for the house was a great. Makes you feel safe. Daily cleanings, laundry, maid were wonderful. View is incredible and because of the way the house sits, it blocks the excessive noise that is common in Costa Rican streets, so it's peaceful. Pool is great. Elite shower products Cons: 3/4 of the bedrooms have extra windows without covering, so your sleep will be disturbed starting at around 5 am when the sun comes up. For this reason I slept in the closet for most of the stay. They could fix this pretty easily, so I hope they do for future guests. All common areas have no AC and no screens, which means it's hot and buggy. We each got ~30 mosquito bites per day in the living room / kitchen area. They should fix this with screening. Advise to future guests: Bring some insect traps, mostly for the mosquitos. The beetles, scorpions, and moths are all chill, but the mosquitos are both dangerous and painful.

Our stay was very pleasant. The place is nice, comfortable and well maintained. Without a doubt, the best thing was the view: really beautiful, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. We would recommend this place and would gladly return.
