Benton

The location and view was a true experience. It exceeded our expectations, which was difficult based on the photos within the listing. We did run into some issues at the property, however, Benton was very responsive and worked quickly on a resolution despite being out of the country. Could use a little TLC, but I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. 😎

Indescribable views from every room- even bathrooms! Our older kids loved having their own space and bathrooms in separate building. Super comfy furniture and beds! Benton and David were responsive and helpful and set up private boat/snorkel trip and chef. Would definitely recommend and the view is one we will always remember! Hope to return some day!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Azul and would definitely stay here again if we return to Costa Rica. The views of the ocean and mountains are absolutely stunning, and the house and pool were clean, beautiful, and well maintained. Benton was fantastic throughout our stay—responsive, communicative, and incredibly helpful. He connected us with a local chef, transportation services, and local activities, making our trip easy to plan and even more memorable. The beach is within walking distance, though guests should note the uphill walk on the way back. A few helpful notes: the main house has one bedroom, while the other two bedrooms are in a separate building. We also visited during bug season, so keeping doors closed and bringing bug spray is recommended. Our only suggestion would be to provide multiple sets of keys or the gate code in advance to make coordinating with vendors easier. Overall, a beautiful property and a great host.

Casa Azul is just as beautiful as the photos, both inside and out. The house was spotless, modern, and had everything we needed. We loved the private location and the amazing view. The host always answered our questions quickly and did everything possible to make our stay great. I hope to come back someday—Costa Rica is truly beautiful, from the people to the scenery.

We had a wonderful week in Costa Rica at this villa. Benton and especially David were incredibly proactive and always made sure everything was in order. David was helpful, always available, and responded quickly to any issues (for example, when the gas tank for the grill ran out, David replaced it in no time). The view from the villa is one-of-a-kind. There are great shopping options nearby and within walking distance, there’s a fantastic restaurant right on the beach. The house was well-maintained and clean. As for the furnishings, there are a few “scratches” here and there that could easily be fixed (e.g., the lounge chairs, which are quite old and a bit worn). But that’s just nitpicking. Overall, highly recommended.

Benton was an amazing host. Very responsive and easy to reach. The place could use some updates but was a beautiful location and we enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely stay here again!

Benton was a great host. The house was just like the photos and perfect for our time in the area. David, who helped with check in and check out, was responsive and explained everything we needed to know about the area. I would recommend this Casa Azul.

10/10. Can’t beat the views and privacy, and the house has every detail we could have thought of. Benton was an incredible host. Set up a sunset cruise from Coco for us. When we had a minor issue with the A/C, he was on it immediately. Responded within 5 minutes to any questions we had. I can’t imagine a better rental experience. We hope to come back soon.

Great location with perfect view. Pool was perfect and refreshing. Kitchen had everything we needed. Easy 15 min walk down to beach but 20 min walk back up steep hill. We drove down to avoid the climb back uphill. Easy to park near Father Roosters. Roosters is perfect for dinner at sunset but best to make reservations. Benton can set you up with tours as well. We did a bit tour and it was well worth the money Would definitely go back

We booked Casa Azul for a a week for our family vacation for 7 peopleThe home was beautiful, clean, and spacious, and the views were stunning no matter the time of day. Benton was an amazing host, and helped with all the questions we had prior and during our stay. He was able to help recommend and get us set up with activities to do while we visited. There were also plenty of card and board games in the home for those days/nights you just want to stay in and have fun with everyone. It’s a great location and easy to catch Ubers to and from the home. We had an amazing time, and would definitely book with Be Ron again on our next trip!

WOW!!! The views from the house are breathtaking. The location is excellent. We rented a car and everything that we wanted to see and do was within an hour. Father Rooster was a short walk or drive which was amazing. The house was perfect for 3 couples. We each had our own space and privacy. The pool and grounds were dynamite. Our hosts Benton and David were spot in. Our first time to Costa Rica will definitely not be our last. And we would love to come back and stay at this beautiful home.

Beautiful space with incredible views. Responsive host. We especially loved snorkeling at Playa Ocatal, a 3- minute drive or 10- minute walk from the house. We enjoyed the food at Family Rooster, located on the beach. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen. Great home for three couples to share. Each morning we awoke to incredible bird songs. We had a few house-related issues throughout the week that were taken care of in a timely manner.
