It's a beautiful place; the view is great; we could see toucans singing in the trees. We really liked it!!! We would stay at this place again. Esteban was super helpful at all times, and the staff are very friendly!! Keep in mind that the third bedroom is separate; you have to go down some outdoor steps, and there's no electricity in that area, but it's well equipped and more private.

Thank you for hosting us—we had a wonderful stay! We truly enjoyed our visit, and the place was fantastic.
This was an ideal place For our Family of five. We benefits Ed from the hotel restaurant, front desk, and service, but still felt cocooned in our own little home, replete with beautiful ocean and Mountain View’s, a plunge pool, and great indoor/outdoor spaces. The outdoor shower and water features were a bonus. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms and kitchen were clean and well stocked with supplies and cooking gear. Most of all, the host made us feel so welcome and settled in from the first moment. They happily accommodated every request. We’d be thrilled to stay here again.

The house, the hotel and its surroundings are so beautiful! You have the mountains in the back of the house and the sea on the front. The cross breeze made the house so fresh. It was the perfect house to bring my in laws, my mother (who doesn’t walk very much), my 8 year old boy, my little dog and husband. The villa is designed in a way where every bedroom has privacy and the social areas are integrated in a comfortable and versatile way. This house made everyone cosy and at home instantly! The week flew by in laughs and entertainment! The hosts were kind enough to let us use the hotel pool, and Dinia the receptionist was so welcoming to me and my family, which made the stay even more worthwhile!
The place is beautiful, just like in the photos, and the views are incredible, and everyone we dealt with was amazing!!
We had a nice stay at Kelli’s place. The place was clean and looked like in the pictures. The beds were really comfortable and the pool was really nice. The views were good but some trees blocked the view to the ocean a bit, which was a little disappointing. We also had an incident with the back gate that fell off due to rust, but luckily no one was injured and the gate was fixed within a day. Kelli and Yuly were helpful, friendly and responsive.

Kelli's place is central to many restaurants in Ojochal and Uvita. The home is next to the Alma hotel. We never went to the hotel or the restaurant so I don't have any feedback regarding that. The view from her pool deck is incredible. You get to see the sunset. While the pool is not huge, it was a great pool to refresh from a hot day. I do love the folding window system that opens the living room to the pool area. Kelli installed a good grill so grilling was easy and fun. However, the kitchen is lacking a few items. It needs a new cookware set as all the cook ware has been used and the nonstick has been scratched. We did have a few issues but Kelli was proactive in getting the issues resolved which we greatly appreciated. One thing to note is the the other two bedrooms are not part of the home. The third bedroom is downstairs and the second bedroom was outside by the pool area to which you access. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and would go back and rent it again.

The place is very nice and comfortable. All the infrastructure was designed to enjoy the complete scenery, from the mountain to the ocean and we really liked that! The place is quite private and at the same time close to beaches, convenience spots and restaurants. Kelli and the hotel staff were always attentive to our needs and to solve some small inconveniences that arose, but that were not serious or that would ruin our stay. We had a really nice time and would come back!

beautiful house with breathtaking views. Kelli was very responsive, and offered to offer us a room at the hotel located 50m further away because in one of the rooms the air conditioning didn't work. it was very appreciable. the TV didn't work. not very serious in normal times, we didn't come to watch the tv, but we wanted to see a football match, and we didn't succeed. the barbecue works perfectly well. the only small reproach would be that it can be missing be a living space facing the view (especially to sit around a table) because the dining table due to the layout of the house is in the backyard and without being able to enjoy the beautiful view. we were also able to enjoy the hotel pool very nice because the pool of the house, although very appreciable is a little small. the hotel restaurant is also a plus, although we did not eat there, but just have a drink with the rock band
We spent a delightful two weeks at the villa at Alma de Ojochal. Yuli and Eddy were welcoming, and they gave many helpful suggestions as we navigated around the Ojochal area. The house was conveniently located on the grounds of a boutique resort, where we enjoyed the lovely pool and dined at the Bamboo Room frequently. The food was very good and we were treated to live music on several occasions! We spent many hours lounging in our own pool at the villa. Although smaller than the hotel pool, it was incredibly refreshing and perfect for quick cool downs! We loved waking up to the sounds of parrots, parakeets, laughing falcons! Our gorgeous views were of the Pacific, the mountains, and the lush jungle, home of howler and capuchin monkeys, coatimundi, and beautiful butterflies. It was a peaceful retreat, far from the craziness of some of the larger beach towns. Friendly people, safe towns, gorgeous beaches! Thank you Kelli for sharing your home with us! Costa Rica…Pura Vida!
