A fantastic mountain home set in spectacular natural surroundings, with excellent birdwatching and ocean views over Costa Rica’s southern Pacific coast. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home, this is the place. The property is about a one-hour drive over rough terrain, but once you arrive, it is well worth the journey. Highly recommended.

Our family of six stayed at Finca Bella Vida over Christmas and we were immediately awe-struck by the beauty. This was the last of three places that we stayed in Costa Rica over two weeks and we literally saw more wildlife at Finca Bella Vida than we did in any of the other place, including national parks. Our family loves the beach, but there is so much to do and see at Finca Bella Vida that we could have stayed there all week. Kerry was very communicative and responsive when we had questions. Pablo and Lucresia do a great job in maintaining the property and amenities. They keep the birds fed so every day, we awoke to the sound of birds chirping. We are very appreciative to Kerry for sharing this slice of paradise with our family!

This place could not have been more spectacular. It was a paradise, nestled deep in the Diamante Verde valley and thrumming with humming birds. Despite being a sensational escape to a thick, pristine jungle brimming with exotic birds and mind-blowing views, it felt like home immediately. This, no doubt, was due to the incredible love and care that Kerry put into hosting us throughout our trip. She went so far above and beyond even the most unreasonable expectations of an AirBnB host that she felt more like an old friend we'd come to visit. We feel so blessed to have had this experience, we will treasure it forever, and we're already longing to go back. The house was warm and comfortable, the water was wonderfully filtered, the pool and the balcony are competing for the most magical places I've ever relaxed in my life, and there's a peaceful waterfall on the property. We've never seen the kids so happy. This place is perfect, stop reading reviews and book it right now.

"A Truly Magical Stay in Paradise!" Kerry's cabin was everything I hoped for and more! Nestled in the southern part of Costa Rica's stunning natural beauty, it felt like a dream come true. Waking up to the sounds of exotic birds and being surrounded by lush greenery was a magical experience. The cabin itself was exquisitely designed, beautifully maintained, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing stay. The birding opportunities were extraordinary—I spotted species I had only ever seen in books! Every moment, from sipping coffee on the deck to exploring the serene surroundings, was unforgettable. Kerry was a fantastic host, ensuring everything was perfect and sharing great local tips. If you're looking for peace, natural beauty, and a touch of wonder, this is the place to be. I can't wait to return!

Beautiful place surrounded by nature, very close to the entrance of Nauyaca, 4x4 vehicle is required to be able to leave the place by the slopes quite steep and of loose stone. Kerry super friendly and attentive, he left us a delicious rooster peak!

The place is amazing right in the middle of nature lots of birds toucans and inside the property you have a lot of things to do, I had a problem caused by myself and Kerry helped in the solution she even gave us a very nice chimichurri I would recommend the place 100%

A heavenly place and a beautiful home! Serenity and relaxation guaranteed throughout the property. It is absolutely necessary to have a 4×4 to access it but once you arrive it is a magical place. Kerry has always responded to our requests with efficiency and kindness.

Finca Bella Vida is a wonderful place! The house is very cozy. The kitchen is so spacious and nice that it invites you to prepare meals at home. The rooms are very comfortable, it is very relaxing to sit on the balconies of each room to see the trees, the birds and the sea. The estate's trails offer a great hike in the middle of the trees, waterfalls, and pools. The pool is perfect for cooling off after a hot day. In short, Finca Bella Vida is a place where one would want to stay much longer than I had originally planned. In addition, the kindness and attention of Kerry and his partners Lucrecia and Pablo make one feel very welcome. Thank you so much Kerry for sharing your home with me and my family with my family, we had a great time with me!

The place is absolutely beautiful, has lush surroundings, breathtaking views and you can see a lot of animal and plant species, especially birds, and it is quite private and has many amenities that make you feel at home, perfect for families with all kinds of hobbies. Both the host and the person who welcomed us were very nice and proactively gave us help when we needed them, they also guided us and provided great recommendations for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying the experience to the fullest. It should be noted that, although retired, the place is quite close to the beaches and the city for those who appreciate this duality, and access is simple if GPS is used. I would definitely return to this place, it is ideal for spreading out and relaxing completely, spending time with the family, and appreciating nature.

I cannot explain how beautiful this place was, pictures don’t do the justice. I wish we had more time. An immaculate place with lots of stuff to Do at the property, we can’t wait to go back 💕 Thank you Kerry for a wonderful experience.

Super costarican mountain Villa for a lovely peaceful retreat! Kerry was a friendly and amazing host, with great attention to details. A beautiful peaceful Oasis located up the in mountains. The place is a little remote but well worth it! (figure a good 1 hour from the coast including 30 minutes of tortuous dirt mountain roads before getting there. Still a Really Wonderful & super well equipped Villa with amazing view, a beautiful property with private waterfalls, lots of fruits trees, flowers and hummingbirds. Everyone of us Loved our stay there. We highly recommend !
