Stay with Monika

Monika and Frank were exceptional hosts from the moment we arrived. They are incredibly friendly, warm, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home. Their house is beautiful and exactly as pictured—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is peaceful and serene, perfect for unwinding, yet conveniently close to some of the area’s best beaches. Playa Conchal is an easy 10-minute walk, and Playa Minas is about 15 minutes away, making it simple to enjoy the stunning coastline without needing to drive. Monika and Frank were always communicative and helpful, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. Beyond being wonderful hosts, they are truly kind people, and we shared many meaningful and enjoyable conversations with them. Staying here felt more like visiting friends than renting a place. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!!

A big WOW. The place was perfect and quiet for our small family. We share the same entrance as the hosts and they knew how to make us feel comfortable from the start. The directions to the location were clear. Monika and Frank were extremely welcoming and generous. They made recommendations (trips, beaches, restaurants, amenities). A peaceful haven ✌️. I would highly recommend this for a peaceful place.

We had a great stay! Moni + Frank are very nice and friendly. The house is very large and in almost every room there is air conditioning for cooling – super pleasant. The beach is about 800 meters away, beautiful and clean. A special highlight was the hummingbird in the garden. Highly recommend!

Although only one night as a stopover, but would have liked to have stayed longer (but will surely come back;) Fantastic landscape and in less than 10 minutes on the most beautiful beach :) The house is very clean and the rooms are bright and cozy, we lacked nothing :) The hosts are nice and friendly and also had great tips on what you can experience / see here As I said, we will be happy to come back and gladly stay longer 👍🏻

Great time at Monika and Frank Michael’s house. This couple of German hosts welcomed us like their family, very nice people and great house within walking distance of playa conchal.

Really that it was an incredible experience with them, I felt at home , some great people , everything was very clean and sharing with them was very nice.

I can’t express how much Frank and Moni made me feel at home. The best Airbnb host I’ve ever had ! They have a lovely home and both truly embody the spirit of “pura vida” . They made me feel like family and everything I needed was provided. The beach is a walking distance and there is a good restaurant near by. I highly recommend especially if traveling solo since they make you feel right at home. As mentioned if you rent a vehicle make sure it’s all terrain as the road is a slight bit rocky and it is a dirt road. If you want a peaceful place to stay right in nature look no further. Thanks Frank and Moni I hope to be back soon!

Moni and Frank were AMAZING hosts! You can walk to a great beach or take a really quick drive and park. Moni took care of keeping us with everything we needed. Highly recommend these hosts. We had a wonderful trip. One recommendation is to make sure you have a four wheel drive suv or truck or at least an suv with clearance as the driveway is very rocky, this is also recommended for Costa Rica in general as the roads are filled with large potholes and dips.
