Place is amazing, fully remodeled, very spacious, impeccable clean. Very well located. Gabriela is an incredibly responsive and helpful host. Fully worth the value. Will return anytime! Wonderful experience!!

From a 20 year local who rented for my family… This place did NOT uphold to the standards of Reserva Conchal. -NO HOT WATER during the 8 nights stayed. -Shower heads were not working properly leading to little water that would spray directly into the bathroom floor. ($30 fix with a new rain shower head) - updated condo with missing bathroom drawer handles, rusted refrigerator, hole in the wall covered by a piece of plastic and more… - Poorly managed by someone who only manages this property and one other. Management admitted that there were hot water issues (no hot water) prior to our arrival. Everyday someone was coming in to “look” at the problem without resolving. Never was fixed! -not informed that there was a free shuttle service on property. Rented a golf cart for no reason. Do yourself a favor and save your vacation by booking direct with Reserva Conchal. The property and amenities are amazing and the beach is my favorite in the area but this condo will ruin your vacation.

Dear Kristen, Sorry for the inconveniences during your stay. We really value our guests and always strive to assure their satisfaction. Indeed, the hot water issue was a very unfortunate event that we tried our best to get fixed in a timely manner. After you left, we had to break the walls and install new piping to resolve this, which took several days. It would not have been practically possible to get it done during your stay. After noticing the difficulty to resolve this issue, we offered you to relocate and a refund for the trouble, according to the Airbnb policies. As you communicated to Gabriela and Airbnb support, you decided to stay for the remainder of your stay and accepted the refund. It wouldn’t benefit us in any way to host a renter previously knowing about the hot water issue, making your stay unpleasant and knowing the consequences this would carry. We did try our best, and we offered you options to make the rest of your experience the best possible, which you declined. Unfortunately, there was little to nothing we could do beyond that. Regarding the transportation, we also explained that it is not a service we provide and we also are not responsible for. Again, we apologize for the inconveniences and thank you for the feedback.

Amazing place to stay within Reserva Conchal. Property is on ground floor, with amazing patio overlooking the golf coarse and ocean. Very clean and fully furnished. Board games and DVD videos are provided for kids for those rainy days. The pool is a short 1-2 minute walk. There is a free shuttle service that will take you anywhere on the property including the beach. There are amazing hiking and biking trails within the reserve. Brasalito is also a 15 minute walk or 5 minute car ride where there are plenty of restaurants, and shops. We were very happy with our stay and look forward to coming back!

This was our second time staying at Reserva Conchal and we were lucky to find Gabriela's condo. It's very spacious, way bigger than the pictures showing it, clean and you just can't beat the view. We cooked half of our meals and the kitchen was easy to use and had everything we needed. There are stairs that you need to take to walk down to the condo from the parking area but it was easy for us, our 2 toddlers and my two parents. We loved that the condo is on ground level because our kids could run outside in the front part and we could step outside to observe the lightning show during one of the rains. It's very quiet and peaceful. We loved to relax on the patio and look at the gorgeous view that opens up. Having a grill outside was a big bonus for us, especially after we found "Carnes San Martin" that carried good meat. Gabriela was very responsive and let us check out a little later. We would definitely come back here! Pure Vida!

Reserva Conchal is a unique resort with private villas & large hotels, set on a gorgeous beach A very family friendly beach club had everything you need The condo was spacious, well appointed, with a golf course setting Highly recommended for all those seeking a Costa Rica (always hot) holiday

Gabriela’s condo is a great find within Reserva Conchal. It has been remodeled and the paint and art on the walls plus comfy living room couch stands out. Gabriela is very kind, responsive and helpful if anything comes up during the stay. We love Conchal and this was a nice stay within the Reserva for our family

We had an incredible stay at Reserva Conchal. The property was perfect for our family of five. We enjoyed morning coffees and evening shell sorting outside, while we cooked dinners in the stocked kitchen. Our hosts were very helpful and communicated exceptionally. We hope to stay here again!

This place is amazing and looks better than the pictures. There was ample space for our group of 6, the patio has beautiful views of reserva conchal, the ocean in the horizon and we were able to take beautiful sunset pictures. It is also very well located, inside a gated community with four nature trails, a beautiful golf course and reasonable driving distance to great beaches and activities. What we enjoyed the most was the club house, its beautiful pools, the beach a few steps away from it, the gym and even the restaurant had great quality food and drinks. We also took advantage of the kayaks that are available to guests. Access to the pools at the Westin resort allowed us to experience something different a day or two. Gabriela was super helpful with many great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area and she made it very easy for us to communicate. We had a great time in Costa Rica and would definitely go back to this property for more.

The host needed our passports’ numbers, but the info was requested during our travelling journey and my phone was of course, on airplane mode. I found this very unprofessional because we booked this property 3 months in advance, leaving the host with plenty of time to request any kind of information. As we entered the property we noticed an unpleasant smell (just like a septic tank). We know this is an ongoing issue because we saw another renter mentioning this same problem. We didn’t contact the host because that smell can only be fixed by properly servicing the pipe/septic system. The microwave, fridge and dishwasher were covered with grease and fingerprints. The ice maker doesn’t work and the fridge doors are rusting. The bar stools have a faux leather material that’s falling apart. Sugar ants were all over the counters and although I cleaned the counters several times, the ants kept coming. The floors and bathrooms were dirty as well. No accessibility for people with disabilities.

Veronica, I am sorry that you view your experience this way. As I stated in our phone conversation, I had texted you a few days in advanced regarding this information and I didn’t get a reply from you until I called for that purpose (if you check your messages you will find that I messaged you in 2 different days prior your arrival). I take responsibility not been more persistent and reaching you through a phone call the day of your arrival. The unpleasant smell is an unfortunate issue that the HOA and I personally have been working on since a prior guest mentioned it. Last service to treat the issue was done on March and we are open to do it as many time as needed if our guests require so. Our most recent guests and cleaning service haven’t reported any issues so we assumed everything is fine. I appreciate your feedback and we will assess this issue again. The ice maker also works, sometimes it only needs an adjustment of the ice drawer for it to function properly. Again, this is another issue that could have been solve through communication. As you can see in our reviews, we are always open to serve our guests and fix any problem effectively and in a speedy manner. If you were not pleased with the state of the condo you could had let me know and I could had worked to get it solved. The lack of accessibility is in fact stated in our listing. There is detailed description with photos and written explanation on how to access the condo where it is mentioned that there are stairs to get to it. For this I suggest to study thoroughly the description of the available units at Reserva Conchal and choose the one that fits your needs. As I stated before, as hosts we are available 24/7 to solve anything ASAP and making your stay at Reserva Conchal the best time possible but without communication there is very little we can do. I find myself very concern about this, I wish I could had done more about it and also appreciate the feedback on the things we need to pay more attention.
