The unit was just as described. It was clean and spacious for our family of four. We had pretty much everything we needed. The only mishap was one of the bathroom sinks which dropped about a quarter inch or so when the grout/caulk failed. It did not bother us too much. Cecilia and her team were great hosts.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful vacation here. Chema and team were always responsive when we had questions or requests. The true highlight was Ali who cleaned the apartment each day and really went above and beyond to ensure it was clean and comfortable.

The location of this property is one of the best on the island. We stayed here many times through the hotel directly. This was our first time staying through an Airbnb. We did enjoy our stay. The only thing we did not enjoy was not having the same great service from the hotels staff. While staying through Airbnb you can not use the hotels beach towels. You have to use your own provided through the host and you have to wash them yourself if you want clean ones. The staff also would not order us a cab or change money for us. This part we did not enjoy so would likely just book directly with ixchel moving forward.

As noted in the Airbnb listing, this is a private residence within the hotel property, and hotel-operated services are managed separately. That said, our guests are supported by a dedicated in-house team, offering a more personalized experience. Bath and beach towels are provided, and housekeeping service is offered daily (except Sundays). Linen and towel refresh are included during the stay as part of our standard service schedule, and additional changes can be arranged upon request. We also provide concierge-style assistance through our team. For each stay, a private WhatsApp group is created to assist with transportation, recommendations, and any requests throughout the stay. We coordinate arrival and departure transportation, and our driver, Víctor, remains available during the stay upon request. In your case, transportation had been pre-arranged prior to arrival; however, we confirmed in the WhatsApp group that Víctor was available should you wish to use our service. We enjoyed a 1 week stay with our family of 5. The 3 bedroom condo accommodated our 3 adult children, plus me and my husband perfectly. We stopped at Costo in Cancun on our way to Isla Mujeres as we enjoy breakfast and lunches in the condo, with dinner out at nearby restaurants. The refrigerator is big enough to hold all our beverages and food for the week, plus there's a small refrig in one of the bedrooms. They have 7-8 ice cube trays that I used daily to make ice with the filtered water. There was always filtered water available for drinking. I loved the Ninja 12 cup coffee maker and the complimentary coffee was very good. The cleaning crew did good work and were very sweet. Victor met us at the ferry and hauled all our luggage to the condo, which was a lifesaver given all our groceries. The top floor deck overlooking the water is beautiful. Beds were very comfortable, but pillows were a bit too stiff for my liking. Thank you for the beautiful stay!

Great location. We love Ixchel and we stay there every year. This was our first time staying in a penthouse and it was perfect. Cecilia’s team was ver responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay. The penthouse is big, clean, and beautiful. Location is perfect. Cecilia has a team of people to cover every need. The taxi driver, Victor Martinez, is so accommodating and fun! We’ll be back!

Cecilia and her wonderful staff made our vacation perfect! The penthouse was beautiful and well-appointed with everything we needed to have a lovely trip. We had a toilet seat get loose while we were there and it was replaced immediately. We will absolutely be back to Cecilia’s beautiful place!

Love love the Ixchel and Cecelia’s 3 bedroom penthouse (and her support team) are top notch! Complementary pick up and drop off at the ferry was a huge surprise and delight and the set up through Airbnb (vs the hotel directly) made coordinating things so much easier. We will be back!
