Very nice place. The only issue is the pool. The steps are very sharp, and I hit my foot hard. Another person scraped their leg.
The house is as impressive as shown in the photos!! The property is extremely spacious: main house, huge pool and ranch. Additionally, in the left sector is the internal access road surrounded by gardens that leads to the main entrance of the house (left side of the house), and 15 meters further in the back there is a two-story building where the additional apartments are located, one on each floor. The main house is extremely spacious (bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bathrooms, closets, living room). A perfect house for large groups of 10 or 14 people, but also for a family of six, as in our case. It was excellent. Esteban, the host, is super friendly, from the coordination of check-in, the welcome, the explanations, the questions during the stay, and the checkout. An excellent stay, totally recommended!!!

The house is quite nice, but it needs maintenance. There was no bath soap in either of the two bathrooms, which was somewhat unexpected because there has always been some in every house I've been to. The roads for transportation are very bad, but that's something that doesn't depend on the host. The beaches nearby are quite good and beautiful, especially Playa Dana, Playa Danita, and Playa Flamenco.
We would definitely come back. The house is extremely comfortable. We were a large group and had an amazing time. The rooms are super comfortable and the location is 10 minutes from Tamarindo, but it is perfect for relaxing away from the parties. There is a huge supermarket 3 minutes away. We loved it. We will definitely be back.

Excellent location and service!
My family and I absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, and every room was thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and inviting. The pool was an added bonus. It was cleaned a few times while we were there, and it quickly became everyone’s favorite place to relax, laugh, and spend time together. It had been years since our entire family had the chance to be together, and this home gave us the perfect setting to reconnect. We shared meals, made memories, and enjoyed quality time with one another in a space that truly felt peaceful and welcoming. The atmosphere made our time together even more special. Esteban was an exceptional host. He was responsive, communicative, and genuinely made us feel at home throughout our stay. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay with family or friends, and we would gladly return in the future.

Our stay was simply amazing. Since we arrived we felt right at home. The property is impeccable, very well equipped, comfortable and cared for down to the last detail. The host, Esteban, is very friendly. He was always attentive and willing to help with any questions. It was definitely one of the best experiences we've ever had on Airbnb. Everything exceeded our expectations. We recommend this place without a second thought.
Esteban was a kind, welcoming host—met us at arrival, explained everything clearly, and stayed responsive throughout our stay. The location is great: close enough to Tamarindo's restaurants and nightlife, yet removed from the crowds. Ubers worked fine, just make sure your pin is accurate so drivers don't miss the turn onto the dirt road. The pool, bedrooms, and beds were excellent, and our group was very comfortable. Host was upfront about hot water issues at check-in, which we appreciated, but despite reaching out, it wasn't resolved during our stay. Costa Rica's heat made cold showers manageable, though a hot one would've been nice after the AC—the pool was often warmer than the showers. We also didn't realize from the listing that the property is actually two separate houses: a larger main house and a smaller two-bedroom house with an upstairs unit. The smaller house seemed to have different plumbing and had a persistent sewage odor in its bathrooms. We’d recommend this property.
