Denia and Manu were great hosts, they recommended local spots, checked in on us regularly, and were available if we had any needs! The bus is a fun experience so close to the beach! The neighborhood is nice and quiet, everything is walkable. We loved our time in Domi!

The accommodation suited my needs well. If you are looking for a typical Pura Vida-style place, the bus will meet your needs. There are all the amenities you need, and it's close to EVERYTHING. I loved my 16 days here and would definitely go back. As a 25-year-old woman traveling there alone, I always felt safe and truly enjoyed every moment. Please keep in mind that this is not a house, but rather a bus converted into a habitable dwelling. There is a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. On the bus, we even had access to air conditioning, which was a great bonus. Denia was proactive in her interactions and showed flexibility. She and her co-host are very friendly, and I would recommend this experience to everyone. This bus is a real hidden gem ✨ ~Pura Vida

Coolest place ever. Loved it! The bus is spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. It does not disappoint and Manuel and Denia were proactive and so helpful in ensuring a perfect experience. There is a washer outside, although I’m not sure how well it cleans your clothes - but it’s a bonus anyway. Also the area and Dominical in general is the best

Host Response

Thank you Kasey. We Will love to have you again.

I totally enjoyed my stay in the converted bus in Dominical. The location is really unbeatable – you practically fall directly from the property to the beach. Everything important is within walking distance and yet it is pleasantly quiet there. The grounds are fenced and camera-monitored, which made me feel very safe the entire time. There is another bus next door, which gives the place a special, almost small hideaway vibe. The kitchen is well equipped and also the possibility to use the washing machine was super convenient. The communication was quick and easy at all times. There is a shower, but without hot water – but at the temperatures absolutely okay for me. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning provides a really pleasant cooling. An exceptional, charming place to stay with very good value for money – I would definitely come back.

Host Response

Thank you for choosing us. We're glad you'll enjoy our bus.

best value in dominical. a/c is strong, wifi is fast (worked remotely for a week with a lot of video meetings) and the location is so close to the beach. it’s a self contained bus, decent and clean. kitchen is minimal but workable. bed is comfortable. i’m 6’4” and just had enough clearance for the ceiling. it’s down a dirt alley and beside a recycling area so that can feel a bit rough but it doesn’t matter that much. totally worth a solo stay for the value here. denia dropped off a coffee maker right away when i messaged about it. i’d stay here again.

Denis's place is just as described. Very private, feels safe, close to everything in Dominical but tucked away in a small residential area. Easy walk to the beach. We kept our surfboards in the locked property without issue. Rented a car for a few days and did not have issues with parking. The bus was very clean, and had everything we needed for basic cooking on two hot plates. Denia and her husband are kind, very responsive and proactive hosts. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely time in the bus. We loved to have our space, cook and stay in during thunderstorms in the evening or enjoy the lovely restaurants around. The location is very close to the beach and we loved the supermarkets in town! Also the bus had even more than described - laundry, wifi and air conditioning. I think the only thing we were a bit unlucky about or maybe it's also common in Dominical, we had two water outages, one lasting for over 12 hours throughout the day, which was a bit inconvienent. Also shortly after we started to do laundry once, electricity went out and we couldn't turn on the machine after. So we had to wash our already soaking clothes all from hand. Water and electricity don't seem to be too stable in Dominical - but maybe we were also just unlucky. All in all, a great AirBnB and Denia was very helpful during the inconveniences!
