George’s place is a hidden oasis near to a beautiful waterfall, and close to the beach. It is only a short drive to the town of dominical and uvita, where there is lots of restaurants, activities, and sights to see. The place was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. We stayed 1 week, and wished we could have stayed longer! George’s place is surrounded by jungle and wildlife. A serene and peaceful getaway, yet close to everything. Other reviews mentioned there was no hot water, but this is incorrect. George’s place has hot water which is an added plus. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting uvita or the surrounding areas. Thank you so much george, we look forward to visiting your place again ☺️

We chose this location mainly due to its proximity to many attractions. Very close to Nauyaca waterfalls, 1 hour from Manuel Antonio, 40 minutes from Uvita (Marino Ballena National Park), 15 minutes from Dominical & 35 minutes from San Isidro el General (suggestion: go to the farmers market on Thursdays - amazing!). We stayed at this location for 7 nights and used this property as a "base camp" for our daily excursions. The location was perfect. The grounds at George's property are full of wonderful citrus trees, flowers and coconut trees. Daily, we saw toucans (look for them about 30 minutes before sunset), hummingbirds & spectacular Oropendola's. At the back of the property, there is a place where you can see the amazing sunsets. George is very pleasant and has a wealth of knowledge of the area and what to do, what to avoid, etc. We had some great conversations with him. His companion dog, Freddy is very gentle. Overall, we loved our stay here.

George's place is immersed in the jungle. Birds and beasts right outside the window, oh my (no worries, nothing harmful, all friendly critters). The accommodations are clean and bright, and supplied with everything you need to feel at home. We had a great visit and will definitely return soon. Pura Vida!

George's place is in a great location. The cabins are duplex-style, nice and roomy, decor is fairly basic, but clean. My one-bedroom unit had a very large walk-in closet, a little dining area, kitchenette, and front-room. There is no air conditioning, but the ceilings are high and vented, ceiling fans in front room and bedroom were sufficient. Nights were pleasantly cool, needing only the light blanket that was provided. The landscaping is very nice, getting up the hill to the parking area was a challenge the first time up, but once you get used to it, it is manageable. It was a short drive down to Dominical, where I often went to enjoy the incredible sunsets!

Great place, low price for the location, spaciousness of cabin, and the wonderful gardens. It’s private, peaceful, relaxing. Lots of wildlife too.

This place is great. Great location close to Dominical and also Nauyaca waterfall. Comfortable with everything you might need and Jurek was a great host. Very easy to communicate and very accommodating. I wish I could have spent more time enjoying the beautiful gardens. The space is very quiet, especially for being so close to the road. It is very easy to get to in a convenient location but still very peaceful and easy to sleep without hearing the trucks driving by all night. I would definitely stay here again.

George was a super awesome host! His place is about a 10 minute drive from dominical and just around the corner from the falls. The home was stocked with everything we needed during our stay. Even though our plans changed last minute and we had to leave earlier than expected, George was super understanding and accommodating of our situation. We enjoyed it!

Nice location a short distance from Dominical. Up the hill a bit and much cooler at night than the beach. George is an excellent host.

If objectively, the house and furniture are old, there are some problems with cleanliness, the Internet is average. And you will definitely pay attention to all this when you arrive. But as soon as you drink coffee outside to the sounds of nature, you will see toucans arriving in flocks of 5-6 pieces of neighboring trees, squirrels, gnawing coconuts on a palm 2 meters from the house, and many colorful birds and butterflies flying around - you will forget about it all, because you will be fine and peaceful here, and you will just enjoy the nature around, which fully compensates for all the shortcomings. And when you go from the parking lot, you will look not at your feet, but at the top of the trees, hoping to see someone else and listen to the rustles in the bushes. Here you are not coming to the house, you are coming to the garden and it will be the main thing you will think about and what you will remember warmly because it is beautiful! The host George is a very attentive and hospitable person, always ready to help in any matter. Upon arrival, we had some comments about the fact that the house was dirty, but the next morning he did an extra cleaning and took into account all our comments. Thank you! Nuance you should know: The host's dog walks freely on the territory (it is in the photo for the description of the house), if you are afraid of dogs, take this into account.

The place is spacious and well thought-out with a beautiful garden. George was lovely and very helpful, even taking us to the grocery when our car failed and reacted immediately when we needed anything. Real Pura Vida style!
