This place is a dream! It has everything described and is just as it appears in the photos. Mariela is a very friendly host!!! And he made sure we were always comfortable during our stay!! Plus, it's very safe and close to several beaches!! It's worth noting that this is one of the few places to stay that offers check-in and check-out at 12:00 PM, so you can check in earlier than most and make the most of your last day! And that's really good and worth noting, in an area where almost everyone has less flexible schedules.😊
A perfect spot for summer with family and friends—beautiful, clean, and full of charm. The location is super convenient, close to amazing beaches and great restaurants. We also met Chelo, the surf instructor, and had an awesome time surfing. Pura Vida, mae!
We had an amazing time!! Mariela was so helpful on very short notice to book and was always quick to respond. The place was great and such a good deal. The pool was clean and lovely. We took surf lessons with Marcelo who set us up with boards, and he was the best! We are all beginners and had a fantastic time. He really went above and beyond. House is great proximity to Garza and guiones. Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you!!
Beautiful house just a short driving distance from busy Guiones and close to some sleepy gems in Playa Garza. Hosts were friendly and very responsive. The pool is small but gorgeous. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. They are building a gas station just behind the property but the noise was not a deterrent. We had a great time and would return for sure.
We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Mariela's place:) Everything could not have been more perfect:) Mariela was so incredibly kind and instantly responsive, she and her team: Wilberth the caretaker went above and beyond with all that he did for us and we especially enjoyed meeting Marcielo the famous surfer/instructor who gave us great tips on what waves were always working and a place to go where we experienced the most magical time ever:) I am an airbnb host in LA and the UK and wish that Mariela and her team could manage my places:) Such a lovely experience, Casa Soulmate is by far the best place in Garza. So much Pura Vida!
Mariela is a wonderful Host! We stayed in Soulmate Left, the home was perfect for our group of 3 adults. Walking into the home felt just as the photos displayed. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and dishes and the bedrooms are very comfortable. There was nothing we needed that was not provided. We plan to return again next year. Thank you Mariela!
We (2 adults and a toddler) mostly enjoyed our stay. It's a cool space with plenty of room, beautiful plants and good a/c. the pool is beautiful and everyone involved with this property is super friendly and kind. However, we did have some experiences that did not match our expectations: there is not much privacy as the house is right next to another house and there is a house for the property caretakers. Folks are around (they are very friendly, but it does not feel like a private space). The blinds shading the common spaces are sheer and do not provide much privacy. The guard dog, Luna, is the sweetest cutest dog ever, but her barking did keep us awake a couple times (Mariela was responsive when we brought up this issue). the property itself is beautifully designed with lovely plants but it is not a nice walk to Garza/beach. You will want to have a car. At the risk of sounding like a spoiled American, we had a good experience but I suppose we expected perfection for the splurge.

This place is THE BEST! It exceeded our expectations and we were so pleasantly surprised :-) Highly recommend this place! We will definitely go back!

We had a lovely stay at Mariela’a place. The pool is magnificent and the home is modern, peaceful and beautiful. It is 850 m from a great beach restaurant Perozah where we wasted our days away, and has easy access to the regular Garza beach too. The home is exactly as pictured and is perfect in every way - well equipped kitchen, great wifi and AC, beautiful rooms and many relaxing seating areas. In Garza with east access to the little town and beach and about 10 minutes from Guiones. Mariela is a great host and was fast and easy to communicate. We will come back for sure. We miss the dogs already!!!
Mariela’s Soulmate House was perfect for our 2-day stay and hope we could have stayed longer. She was very communicative and open to our needs She is local and that is always a plus for us, and she was extremely courteous leaving some fruits and artisanal beers with a handwritten welcome note. Wonderful stay, highly recommended!!!!
