Me and my friend booked Tony’s place last minute on a roadtrip way through Costa Rica. Tony was super quick to respond to my request and very helpful with information about the area and available if we needed anything. The place was just as described! Fantastic views, amazing plants surrounding the cabin, very private, we slept well and had everything we needed. Bonus: never ending light show provided by the fireflies at nighttime! Don’t forget to sit outside to see them. Beautiful :) Steep hill up as per other people’s views but we had no problems getting up.

Cozy cabin, surrounded by nature, private. Close to the main road or Route 10. From the balcony you have beautiful views.

Unique rustic home with beautiful hillside views Cozy cabin-style interior; sleeps 4 but feels snug Great overnight stop between the Pacific and Caribbean coasts No AC, so mornings can be warm and bright Some traffic noise from the nearby road Easy to find using “Apache Restaurant” in maps (leads to the green gate) Host Tony was polite and very responsive

The place is great if you expect something rustic. Our expectation was a little different. Despite the distance to the road and the beautiful location on the mountain, the night was extremely noisy. You can hear a lot of cars and when it rains it is also very loud.

Very nice place. We had a great time! The only recommendation is to install lights outside, the front door had no screen and the place does not have air conditioning so it was extremely hot and bugs got in. Another recommendation is to fix the cement on the outside path, as it was very uneven, and if you cut the grass, pick it up.

We loved this cabin so much, we returned a second time after visiting Puerto Viejo. It’s such a magical place. We woke up looking over the clouds, surrounded by a beautiful variety of plants. It’s peaceful and tranquil.

This cabin is hidden among the most beautiful plants, the views all around are breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay so much, we are returning on our way back to San Jose! The host was very easy to communicate with!

Tony was very friendly, helpful and acommodating. He let us upgrade to a bigger place for no extra charge. The views were breathtaking!

We stayed here again, having stayed earlier this week on our way to the coast. It was great as before, we went to some local waterfalls for a swim and spent the afternoon drinking on the veranda watching the montezuma orapendula and hummingbirds. Thanks for a great stay!
