We had an amazing stay at La Joya de la Selva. We’ve visited Costa Rica many times, but this was our first time in Nosara. We originally booked another home and didn’t realize it was so close to the hustle and bustle. After one night, we knew it wasn’t the experience we were looking for. We come to Costa Rica to embrace the serenity and enjoy nature. Thankfully, we were able to book this home last minute—and it exceeded all of our expectations. It was exactly what we were hoping for. We were able to truly unwind, connect with nature, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The home is very well maintained, clean, and the hosts are extremely responsive. It is a bit of a hike up to the house, and a 4x4 is definitely needed, but if you’re looking to get away from it all, this place is absolutely perfect. You won’t be disappointed.

We recently stayed at La Joya De Selva and we were truly impressed with this property. The views of the ocean and surrounding areas made this place an absolute paradise. We even had the pleasure of seeing monkeys and pezotes really close to the property. The property is located in the mountains and offers amazing privacy. The host were amazing to deal with and they even had a concierge service to handle all our needs during our stay. Waking up to the sounds of nature was truly amazing! We would stay here again 🫶🏼

Beautiful house with amazing views. In all respects, matches the photos. The property has plenty of kitchen amenities and beach equipment/toys (deckchairs, umbrella, surfboard, children's toys, etc.). The bedding is high quality, and the sheets are very soft. Air conditioning, fans, and mosquito nets in all rooms. The air conditioning only works during the day, which can be a problem for those who are more sensitive to heat, but if you leave the windows open, it's perfectly manageable. Special mention for the toiletries, which are organic and sulfate-free. The price you pay for the view is the climb! Very rough and steep road; a REAL 4x4 is required. Allow 10–15 minutes to reach Nosara and its beaches. The host is very available when needed and provides a guide full of great recommendations. The only small downside is the tiles on the terrace/around the pool, which are very slippery; you have to be careful with children.

I stayed here with four friends, and the layout was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well stocked, which made it easy to make smoothies and enjoy a nice dinner together on the beautiful lanai. Listening to the birds at sunset was absolutely magical. The place was clean, had great amenities, and offered an amazing value. We would definitely stay here again.

Run don’t walk to this home! It is spectacular. The roads are rough but doable. Most roads in Costa Rica are like this. The views are fabulous. We even got to meet Felipe. He’s a pizotes. A cute little critter. He came to visit us everyday. My only complaint??? I couldn’t stay longer!!!

Pure Life!

We had a fantastic stay. The property is so peaceful and the view is absolutely breathtaking. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into the space and provided everything we could possibly need—and more. The drive up the hill is a bit of an adventure, but it’s all part of the experience. We would gladly return.

I can't say enough great things about Adi and this stay. Deep in the jungle, but just a short 5 min drive to town, truly an escape. We had a family emergency that delayed our arrival and Adi and team were some of the most accomodating hosts I've ever encountered. 6 stars out of 5.

This was an incredible stay for our family! The rough ride, up for us city folk (yes you 100% need 4x4) was all part of the adventure. House was impeccable, views, amenities (back chairs, beach cart, umbrella and toys for the little one) were everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Plan for 15 min up and down the mountain for each journey into travels and enjoy each minute of this impeccable stay. Stephanie our on site concierge was extremely helpful and always available for questions or cleaning services.

Our stay was absolutely magical. The house had the most incredible views — truly some of the best we’ve ever experienced. Completely surrounded by lush jungle, it felt like we had our own private oasis. There were no neighbors in sight, just nature in every direction, which made the experience feel peaceful, secluded, and incredibly special. One of our favorite parts of the stay was simply sitting on the back patio and observing the wildlife. Without even leaving the house, we saw so much ... monkeys swinging through the trees, colorful birds flying by, whales breaching in the ocean, and, our personal favorite, the resident Coati that made frequent visits to come say hi! It felt like we were immersed in nature in the best possible way.

What an experience. Really felt a world away from the nearby town and felt like we were alone in the jungle. Place is both luxurious and minimalist - perfect combination for an off the grid eco home. Lovely touches like fresh fruit and coffee to welcome us, great lines and towels, beautiful bathrooms - loved the shower head in the master. Beach chairs available for our use. And our friendly Pizote visits were great enjoyed. Some great monkey sightings too! Best of all Adi and her team were extremely helpful and communicative whenever we needed them. Be prepared for no AC at night but pretty cool to listen to the sounds of the jungle and the wind. Overall such a memorable experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Adi and Erez’s home! They were so communicative and quick to respond to us when we were looking for recommendations and when we had any requests. They may be the best Airbnb hosts we’ve ever had! The house is stunning and so is the view. Definitely need seriously driving skills to get up the top part of the mountain. My husband who’s used to driving in the Texas hill country had no problem, but I definitely wouldn’t attempt being a city girl. The best part is you were in the jungle but also only a 15 min ride from town which was amazing. We would definitely stay here again ❤️
