Exceptional stay at Daniel's. The place was spotless, and Daniel was very responsive. The view of the forest is simply outstanding, and the trail running course is amazing. We would highly recommend!

The home is beautiful and immersed in nature. A private setting with forest views and dairy cows. A few warm clothes are recommended as nights are cool . We didn't want to leave.

Everything was great. A very nice house, well-equipped, in a very, very nice and quiet location, with a great view of the countryside.

The drive up Monteverde was worth it to get to our Airbnb. It is very secluded and safe with beautiful view of forest and flowers around the property. Daniel was very responsive and accommedated some of our request to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We loved how close (20 min drive or less) all the wonderful activities, tours, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc were near by. The perfect place to book if you are looking to get away and surrounded yourself in nature and a quient touristy town with friendly locals.

Daniel is the best AirBnB host we've every experienced!! He was so incredibly helpful and knowledgable about everything we could possibly need, from nearby locations of everything to deep knowledge about local wildlife - birds, bugs, absolutely everything!! We're wildlife photographers and the location of Daniel's property is incredibly special and something most visitors to Monteverde don't get to see - it was truely a beautiful cloud forest experience!! We can't recommend it enough - thank you for a life changing experience Daniel!!!!

Very cool place!

Very nice, very clean accommodation, matches the photos and description. Accommodation in the heart of nature with lots of hummingbirds around, different birds like toucans. It feels like the cloud forest with the forest nearby.

This may be the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. It is in a beautiful location with so much wildlife and birds. We saw toucans and a variety of hummingbirds from the deck. It is private, very clean, and well equipped. The host was responsive and provided clear directions to find the place. The roads in this area are unpaved, so a 4WD vehicle is likely necessary.

We had an amazing stay at Eximia Natura House. The Airbnb itself is quite beautiful, and we had a great time relaxing on the balconies and soaking in the Sun. Our host, Daniel was great at communicating and helped out when we briefly did not have hot water. He also made sure that we had activities booked while we were in Monteverde and he gave us tips on what wildlife we could spot out during our stay. We recommend having a 4x4 drive, because some of the roads leading up to the Airbnb can be a little rough depending on where you are coming from, so be mindful of the routes you are taking on waze or google maps!

We came to Monteverde for a 3 day stay in the mountains and this place definitely did not disappoint!! The place was very clean and wonderful and perfectly located, and the views were absolutely spectacular. Daniel was such an amazing host, he gave us some great food recommendations and taking his night walk tour was one of our highlights of the trip he is so kind and very knowledgeable of all the different animals to see around the mountain! We had a fantastic time!!

We had a wonderful stay. Check-in was incredibly easy, and the host was extremely responsive when we realized we didn’t have hot water—they resolved it right away. The home was immaculately clean, and the back patio was a highlight with its beautiful mountain and cloud views. Highly recommend!

Daniel was an amazing host, we stayed four nights and five days, always responsive and on tune with any of our necessities. Very safe location, amazing place, cozy and easy to find. We thank Daniel for the amazing stay and experience on our night tour. Everything was worth the stay.

We had a lovely stay, the house was very clean and very spacious for 3 people with a magnificent view of the forest, we could see lots of birds and butterflies. The house lacks nothing. Access is easy with a 4x4 if you put in the address sent by Daniel. The house is in a very peaceful place and only 20 minutes from the city of Santa Elena which is very charming and has everything. The temperature drops a little in Monteverde but Daniel had made extra blankets available so we didn't get cold. Thank you to Daniel for this great stay and his perfect communication!

Beautiful location in the middle of the mountains

I loved the house, super nice in a quiet area, everything clean and tidy, beautiful views and hummingbird visits in the gardens. only the 3 km ballast road to get there.

We loved this place - so beautiful & peaceful! There’s lots of space and the views are stunning. We followed the directions using Waze and found it with no issues. Would suggest 4wd for the whole area though! Close to all the zip lining and adventurous activities and Santa Elena but away from any noise.

The house is located as described in the middle of nature and there are many bird species to observe in the immediate vicinity. The view from the living room and bedroom of the rainforest is also beautiful. The house is spacious and well-equipped.

The house is spacious, elegant, and great for birdwatching—especially during morning walks nearby. Just 15 minutes from Santa Elena, it offers both tranquility and convenience. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway!

We had a fantastic stay and couldn't have asked for a better location for exploring Monteverde. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The back was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. Daniel was also very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient base to experience the beauty of Monteverde!

Definitely recommend! The house is so beautiful you will not want to leave. Great privacy. Lots to do nearby, I’d recommend to stay a minimum of 4-5 days to really explore the jungle and towns nearby. Daniel was an excellent host and the people in Monteverde / Santa Elana were SO kind.

Such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Monteverde. Daniel was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Daniel is an amazing host and this is an amazing property. The house is well designed with an open concept providing tons of light and an expansive view over the adjoining hills, forest and canopy--like a cloud forest on misty days. It was immaculately clean on our arrival. Two beautiful patios provide an excellent area for sitting with a morning coffee or end of day wine while watching birds and weather roll through the area. Secluded, private, and quiet, this is a sanctuary type of place and heaven for birders. On one day of birding around the property, and exercising an abundance of patience, we spotted 34 species. It is worth noting that there is hot water in only the showers, not sinks in the bathrooms or kitchen--but this is very common across Costa Rica. It is a rough 20 minute drive to Santa Alena, seeming like an hour, which became shorter and a non-factor with repetition. Daniel is a wealth of knowledge and helped to make our entire stay in the area an incredible experience.

Daniel's house is very beautiful, just like in the pictures. The views of the forest are spectacular and the architecture with the big windows is perfect for the surroundings. It's very modern and clean, very comfortable to stay a few days or a week. The location is on a farm and very private, very secluded and it is recommended to have a car. There are a lot of birds on the property and Daniel maintains a list of birds that he has spotted. Daniel is a super nice and responsive host and we hope to stay at his place again if we return to Monteverde.

Truly a piece of Paradise!! So peaceful and secluded. We arrived in a wind and rain storm and got a bit off course. We stopped at another establishment and asked for help. In a moment Daniel showed up on his motorcycle and led us to our home. The garage was awesome because we didn’t have to unload in the rain. The house was beyond my expectations. Well built and had everything you could possibly need. Definitely would recommend this beautiful home.

Daniel's place was incredible! The views were absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The location was perfect, with restaurants and everything we needed just a short distance away. I would definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back again in the future!

If you love nature, this is the place for you. Even lying on the bed, you can enjoy the view of cloud mountain. House is very well equipped, especially kitchen. Daniel is a very helpful host. The local guide he recommended, Juan, is such a wonderful guy. We joined the both day and night tour with him. It made our trip to Monteverde full of fun.

The area was beautiful but pouring rain most of the time we were there. Hard to adventure on swinging bridges in the rain. Quite a breathtaking and intense drive to get up to the property. Our timing just didn’t work out with the weather but happy we experienced the property. Definitely would return if I thought the weather would be drier. Daniel was very helpful throughout the stay.

Daniel was super communicative and even offered up local suggestions. His space was beautiful and as described. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Monteverde!

Beautiful property. You wake up in the rain forest. Absolutely amazing space. Host was communicative. Would absolutely have a remote get away here. If the weather is bad the WiFi may be spotty. Because of the remoteness and bad road conditions around monteverde, highly recommend a 4 wheel drive or at least a suv with higher clearance

Daniel is a very attentive host and is willing to help in whatever you need. During our stay he advised us about the area and provided a lot of information about Monte Verde. It is a perfect environment to rest and spend time as a family. We look forward to returning at any time. Pura vida 🇨🇷

The house and property is gorgeous and comfortable. We saw many toucans while sitting on the balcony. Daniel was responsive and helpful. He arranged a guide for a night tour and we highly recommend the experience. The road to the house is pretty rough but that is true for most of monteverde roads. Great experience overall!

The place was our perfect, private paradise! The views from nearly every window were just amazing-exactly like the pictures. Beautiful tropical flowers everywhere and dozens of hummingbirds. One evening we watched five or six toucans fly in and play in the trees right across from the outside patio of the house. We could hear monkeys off in the distance but didn't get a chance to see any of them. The house is beautiful, and the couches and beds comfortable. Although lacking a few modern conveniences, if you are okay with that, this place is for you for sure! Daniel was a great host, very responsive and checked in with us to make sure everything was great.

A very very spacious place! beautifully located with a marvellous view. You can see tons of birds at every moment of the day. The house had even had a private garage! Everything is spotless clean. Warm showers, toys for the kids.. Simply perfect!

We stayed for 2 nights and got to enjoy the cloud forests and ziplining in monteverde. Daniel’s house is peaceful and quiet and we saw toucans and hummingbirds from the house. The house has a good amount of space and is close to the things you want do and see in monteverde. We thought it was good value and would recommend to others. We had trouble on our drive to monteverde and Daniel was really helpful trying to help us sort it out which was a huge help!

A perfect place to disconnect and be in contact with nature. the only thing that is heard is the animals in the area. Considering that the roads of Santa Elena and surroundings are not in the best condition likewise I was able to move well with front-wheel drive vehicle. Daniel is always very attentive and kind.

Beautiful place in nature

The place was just as shown in the pictures. The surroundings are beautiful and there are so many hummingbirds around the house. Being in Costa Rica we do expect a few bugs to make their way inside but we had quite a few at this property compared to the other properties in Costa Rica that we stayed.

The town is excellent, the house is super equipped and very nice, Daniel was always very attentive, thank you very much for all the help.

Our stay at the Eximia Natura House was quite enjoyable. Daniel was very quick to communicate and offered to help us book our forest walking tour where we were able to watch a momma sloth and her baby have a meal - quite the experience! The home is spacious and very private with the lush forest all around.

An amazing stay, the house cozy and very comfortable. In a great location, just minutes from the village and the different activities. The excellent view from any angle of the property, totally recommended.

This house is stunning!! I wish we had more time to stay and enjoy nature while relaxing on the back patio! It is a bit of a drive on rocky, winding roads so be prepared for that, but otherwise it is a gorgeous house tucked away in lush mountainous fields surrounded by cows and birds. The views while drinking coffee in the back are breathtaking! I just wish there were screens in all the windows so we could hear the animals and feel the fresh breeze. I definitely recommend staying here for any nature lover to enjoy the country of Costa Rica!

Very nice location and private. Daniel is very helpful and very quick to reply. Only downside is that the road to the house is unpaved and 20 minutes from the village.

This was another highlight accommodation at the end of our trip. 10 minutes outside Santa Elena, nested on a slope with a view of the forest around you. We saw (and heard) a group of Toucans and other beautiful birds every morning. We just arrived in sunny weather and enjoyed the full view and could see the whole area. Otherwise, it is known for being misty. The symphony of various bird sounds is very relaxing and a wonderful contrast to the usual loud noise of cicadas in the jungle. Access is a dirt/gravel road - like most roads in that area. We had a Toyota Yaris Sedan, which still worked out fine. You can enjoy nice little walks around the area and Daniel will help you with anything you need. The available yoga mat in the house was handy with the granite floor for your exercises. :-)

Nice home surrounded by lush vegetation, birds and cows. Very private and situated in a beautiful area. Daniel was a good communicator and was able to accommodate an early check in for us which we appreciated.

Quiet and private with beautiful views. Very clean and Daniel was responsive when we reached out. The roads getting there were very accessible, better than I had expected. There is a green gate to go through to access, as the property is set back and not seen easily from road. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Intimate and bucolic place in the countryside. We enjoyed being very much able to rest there very much. The view of the mountains, the dance of clouds coming and going, the hummingbirds bickering and our neighbors the cows have greatly refreshed us! Thank you Daniel!

Daniel's house was absolutely perfect in every possible way - clean, spacious, comfortable, and beautiful surroundings. It's about 15-30 mins from most restaurants and attraction but we had a car and didn't mind the drive. We loved watching birds while sipping coffee in the morning. Daniel provided all the necessary information and was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Very very nice and big villa. You have 2 bedrooms with a bathroom. The apartment is in the middle of nowhere. As a result, it is very quiet. Is easily accessible by car and 20 min from the center. You are very connected to nature.

Beautiful stay in the middle of nature, with the hummingbirds flying in the hedges that you can see while you are in the kitchen, lots of peace and quiet with a beautiful view, the master bedroom is fantastic.

Daniel’s place is incredible. Between the variety of birds and wildlife and the peaceful setting this place is second to none. Daniel himself is very polite, respectful, and extremely helpful. He has this thing figured out. I couldn’t suggest this stay enough. All around superb!

Daniel, that you for sharing your beautiful home with us. The house is as per description; and seeing the many birds, including toucans, was a wonderful experience. Would love to get back and spend some hours on the patio, enjoying the view and the ever-changing clouds. Very peaceful and relaxing!! The area is beautiful, would advise if driving in that region for the first time, aim to be there during daylight for easier navigation of the terrain.

Excellent place, with many trees in front, you can see hundreds of birds in the mornings and afternoons!
