Highly recommend this lovely home close to the beach and with excellent amenities. The hosts were super helpful in providing advice, recommendations for adventures, and an on-site chef for an amazing meal.

This was a wonderful place for our family of 13. The house is beautiful and well laid out with plenty of room. The views off the porch were so peaceful. Every morning, we enjoyed spotting wildlife while chatting and drinking coffee. The location was very convenient to everything in Manuel Antonio--restaurants, grocery stores and the park. Terry was very responsive to our needs.

What a gem of a place! The house is modern, spotless, and tucked right into the jungle—complete with monkeys swinging through the trees outside the balcony. The view is gorgeous, and the beds were super comfy. Terry and Esteban were fantastic hosts and very responsive. The walk down to the beach is steep, but the path is filled with beautiful flowers and tropical plants, and the beach at the bottom is clean and serene. We would absolutely stay here again.

The house is just like the photos, the rooms are very comfortable, and everything is super clean. The view from the house is beautiful. Very close to the house, there are beautiful beaches, and it's just a stone's throw from Manuel Antonio National Park. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Communication was very smooth with Terry and Esteban. We highly recommend the accommodation and would love to come back.

We had the most amazing stay. Who needs Manuel Antonio when you can literally see all the animals at this house. We had 3 different species of monkeys come through daily, a sloth, macaws and a couple of toucans. The house had everything we needed. We hired the private chef for a dinner and I highly recommend her. The food was incredible and actually cheaper than us going out to dinner. The beach is a very short walk, but down a very steep hill. We actually paid $12 to park in the hotel parking lot so that our kids (all under 6) didn’t have to make the hike. Emanuel was very helpful with booking our excursions and answering any questions we had. Overall we had an incredible stay and we will definitely consider staying here again. The location cannot be beat!

Casa Playa Y Selva is a Gem! The location is Spectacular and the view is unbelievably gorgeous. The house is spacious and airy with lots of patios, 2 pools, laundry… everything you could possibly need for your beach vacation! We loved meeting Terry and his Team were Fantastic! Esteban arranged our tours and was incredibly helpful. Karynne made us some of the most delicious breakfasts we’ve ever had! Our family was overjoyed with our stay and we hope to return.

Great house for a large family/group. Location was great, very close to the park entrance, we even walked back from the national park the day we went. Seen more wildlife at the house sloths, monkeys etc than the National Park guided tour. Even though the steep climb back up the road, the proximity to the beach was great. Our family made the walk each day of our stay sometimes twice even though it was a short but steep climb back. 4 boogie boards the house had the kids in our group logged hours and hours on them. We hired the recommended chef twice during the week and she did a great job. The Concierge Esteban was great, helped set up transportation and a few tours for our group along with some great recommendations as he is from the area. Esteban was very responsive in anything needed. Only issue was a room on the main pool level the AC had issues and was leaking into the room which caused luggage to get wet on the floor and the armoire in the room had water damage and a mold smell.

We had a fantastic time staying at Casa Playa Y Selva. The size of the house, the location to the beach, the well stocked kitchen and the outdoor plunge pools were perfect. Also our consierre was very helpful in planning our stay. I would recommend this house to others coming to Manuel Antonio.

What a great place would definitely go back! Close to the beach and jungle vibes were amazing. Hard to leave anywhere when you have such a beautiful home with a beautiful pool to enjoy. And the chef was amazing so be sure to ask for Karynne. We came in August and it was perfect weather for us. Rainy but still had sunshine! The rain caught us on the way back from beach and it was a highlight of the trip! Shout out to the host with the most Esteban who made sure our itinerary stayed poppin!

Terry, Joan and Esteban, were outstanding hosts. We did not rent a car, but no problem they helped us get around and arranged great tours for us. Short, but steep walk to a lovely beach, bar and restaurants. Will definitely stay there again. Thanks to all, Gary, Annette and family

Casa Playa y Selva is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed as a family. The home is beautifully designed with stunning ocean and jungle views from the kitchen island and numerous patios. But what truly set it apart was the hospitality. Terry offered to stock the kitchen before we arrived (so helpful after a late flight!) and was always available with great local tips. Esteban was incredible—he arranged tours (ziplining, chocolate/coffee, Manuel Antonio with an amazing guide), took care of transportation, and even brought in a massage therapist who gave one of the most relaxing massages I’ve ever had. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the location is walkable to restaurants, shops, the beach, and the park. Boogie boards were included too! If you’re traveling with very young kids, note that the bunk room door opens near the pool. Otherwise, it’s ideal for families or groups. Wildlife right outside the patio was a daily treat. We can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Playa y Selva. The house was amazing—beautiful, modern, spacious, clean, had great views and a short walk to the beach. The beds were comfortable, and the a/c’s and fans worked great. We enjoyed the local wildlife in the trees around the property-monkeys, sloth, birds, frogs, iguanas, and crabs. Terry and Esteban were so friendly, helpful, and easy to work with, and every recommended activity we did with their concierge service our family rated 5 stars. We also used Karinne, their on-site private chef, for some dinners and breakfasts. Her food was amazing, and definitely cheaper than local restaurants. Highly recommend!!!
