The place was very nice and quiet. At night there were 30 minutes of campfire and there are several places to sit and admire the view. What caught our attention from the beginning was the Christmas decorations. The only thing we thought was very little was the breakfast, there was very little egg and they accompanied it with sausages, we expected some gallo pinto to fill up. The good thing is that there was coffee and juice and croissants

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful wooden cabin on the slope of the Irazu. It got very cold at night, but the blankets provided were enough . In the morning it was quickly warm after the sun has risen . The view of the valley is beautiful , especially the sunset above the clouds .

Great spot near the volcano and sanatorium, parking available next to cabins (easy to pack up), great view, shower was nice and hot, gets very cold here at night though so will need to bring warm clothes and have the heater on high before you go to bed

the house we stayed in was super spacious, had a small heater, WiFi, a tv, bathrobes, hot water, a private parking spot and the best view over the valley and it's cities. from there we went to the vulcano irazu which is just a 20-30 minutes drive away. the team was very welcoming and even made it possible that we had breakfast much earlier then they usually serve it. :) unfortunately, the breakfast (buffet style) was served on plastic plates and with plastic cutlery but i guess this might be due to the COVID situation.
