We have ZERO complaints about our stay!! This house had everything I would expect to find at a resort. The beds were comfortable and the towels provided were plush. We were a group of 5, 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Originally, we were thinking of staying at the Westin resort when I came across Nelsy's profile and I am SO grateful I did. Staying at Nelsy's place truly made our vacation special. She was so helpful with local recommendations. We hired an amazing tour guide, rented a golf cart, and connected with a local taxi for when we wanted to go further out of Coco all based on Nelsy's recommendations. We woke up to the sound of howler monkeys in the trees and finished our days the same way. The supermarket, the main restaurant strip in coco and the beach are a quick 5-10 minute golf cart drive away. We always felt safe. This neighborhood is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip in Coco making it a perfect peaceful retreat. Thank you Nelsy for all your help! Pura Vida

We felt the place was very nice, however for the price of our stay, the outdoor area could have used a lot more love and attention before arrival. The pool was not cleaned before we got there and required major skimming and cleaning. The host was very responsive once we requested service. The outdoor closets were messy and lots of clutter AND the tables outside could have been cleaned as well. We suggest picking up any trash or broken pool stuff and or cleaning the perimeter of the pool as well prior to guests arriving. Pool tubes were nice to have but also required love. Inside was great other than some bug issues. We love the club house access, but we were bummed to learn the pool bar and restaurant were closed for our stay. Overall we enjoyed it but for the price, we expected better outdoor maintenance cleanliness and some minor areas indoors as well.

Hello Amy, thanks so much for your review! We’re really glad you brought this issue to our attention regarding this beautiful property. Regarding the pool, we did clean it before you arrived. However, the dry and windy weather this time of year makes it quite challenging to maintain perfect conditions. We did our best to provide a quick solution bringing you the Schemer and a pool services right away. Regarding the Messi furniture on the deck, it’s designed for Housekipin to keep extra pool toys that we keep in the furniture . It’s not intended for guests to open doors . About bugs control. This is because the rainy season is approaching, and it’s a common occurrence in our town to have insects at night. When the lights are on, I believe I’ve explained that. We’re in a tropical climate, and it’s very difficult to prevent bugs from entering the deck. Again thank you for staying in our property and for reviewing. Pura vida 🌺

Great location! A great rental for a family, lots of room for everyone and close to everything in Coco. Fantastic host who is super helpful if needed. Highly recommend!
Wonderful stay for a family of 6. Large shared areas and enough private space for 4 teens. We liked having access to the community’s private larger common pool. Many restaurants and supermarkets within a 5-10 min drive. Not the most exciting area compared to lively Tamarindo but easy driving to beaches and many activities. Great a quick communication with host for any question. Only negative was an unclear communication about a water main breakage which limited our usage of water. Manageable.

Hello Jean, Thank you for your stay with us in Playas Del Coco. I regret to hear that you were not satisfied with our beautiful town. Every town in Costa Rica has its own unique atmosphere and people. Regarding the water, I mentioned that the HOA was working on the main line. However, please do not be concerned about losing water in your house, as we have four water tanks reserved for our guests. I only asked you to please use water carefully and not waste it, so that you have plenty of water for your family. I apologize if my advice was too much.
The house is beautiful and very clean. I was surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked with pantry items, multiple choices of cookware and dishes, even paper plates and napkins. We definitely didn’t need to bring as many groceries or even water toys! I would have liked to see some plush outdoor furniture but we made good use of what was there. The howler monkeys came to hang out on the big tree beside the pool which provided us with plenty of entertainment! Nelsy was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had and was extremely friendly and accommodating.
The accommodation was impeccable and very clean! We were with a family with a baby and the accommodation was super well suited for a family! Loved our stay!!
We had a fantastic stay in Guanacaste! The house was even nicer than the photos—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The community itself was very well kept, and the clubhouse restaurant was excellent; the food was great and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. The location couldn’t have been better. The house was very close to several local beaches, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy the coast. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, offering great recommendations for places to eat and clear guidance on how to get around to different locations. One of the highlights for us was the wildlife. Bird lovers will be especially happy—we saw an amazing variety, including parakeets, Amazon parrots, flycatchers, cuckoos, motmots, and trogons right around the property. After hot days out exploring, the pool was the perfect way to cool off—and the color-changing lights made it even more fun in the evenings. Overall, this was a wonderful stay, and we

We had a fantastic stay! Nelsy was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. The place was spotless—just like the photos—and in a perfect location, close to great restaurants and the beach. The clubhouse was a huge bonus! Both the gym and pool were favorites for our kids (and us!). The home had everything we needed and more. We felt very safe during our stay, and the staff around the property were all warm and welcoming. Highly recommend—would definitely stay here again!

Nelsy’s home is one of the best airbnbs i have ever stayed at. I was super impressed with how clean the home was, I felt right at home. The home itself is beautiful and is a great place to relax and grab some beautiful photos. The neighborhood was private and my family and I felt super safe. The home was close to the town and nearby beaches were under 20 minutes. Thank you again Nelsy!!

Clean and comfortable. The amenities were fantastic- the pool was great for relaxing and a quick few laps, the kitchen had all we needed to cook some yummy meals. Spacious living areas and comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay.
Nelsey was amazing,anything we needed she responded quickly. Beautiful kitchen with everything you could need to cook a nice meal. Bbq for hanging next to the pool while the kids swam. The pool was perfect for cooling down in after being out in the heat all day. The little town was so much fun and very close to the house. Our family really enjoyed our stay here in Coco.
