Joe is a chill dude; friendly host! Perfect place for a night stay and I enjoyed swimming in the pool. Did a quick photoshoot for my birthday here as the surrounding areas was filled with beautiful plants and decorations. :)

The Casita is very well designed and recently remodeled. In town location, yet private with wonderful jungle atmosphere, and the pool is wonderful

We had a great stay at Joseph’s place! The pool is so beautiful and refreshing. I loved hanging out there, so peaceful. The guests across from us were also lovely. I loved the restaurant recommendations that he gave us so much and really appreciated that there was also stores and a playground nearby. I really enjoyed walking in the neighbourhood. We’ve stayed in this neighbourhood before and if you don’t know there is a lot of roosters so bring your earplugs (like we did) to get a restful sleep. Its pretty typical for the power to go out sometimes in Costa Rica and it did for a little while, so the pool is really key for keeping cool, as well they are on city water so you can still shower and use the water when the power is out which is great. There were big iguanas on the property which my kids really loved and their dog is super sweet and friendly. We had a great stay, thanks for having us!

This area is so beautiful! The small casita is perfect for those looking for a clean, rustic jungle experience. The pool is exactly like the photos - stunning. There were giant iguanas around the pool in the trees and the sound of toucans in the distance. The area itself has restaurants you can walk to in less than 10 minutes as well as a grocery store. Lynn & Joe are excellent hosts.

Joseph and his partner are absolutely incredible people!! We couldn’t have asked for better hosts! The location was stunning. They made us feel right at home!! Highly recommend to anyone!!

The cabana was super sweet. Had everything you needed for a quiet getaway. The decor is lovely and interesting, large windows looking out on the gardens. The pool was refreshing and just steps away. We rarely saw anyone else on the property even though the hosts live there and there is another cabana nearby. We appreciated a walkable recommendation for good food and drinks - the owners at Los Gatos Locos were friendly and accommodating. The location is near to a great free waterfall and beaches. Totally enjoyed our stay and this would be our go-to, if we were near Uvita again.

A very pleasant stay. An ideal place to relax and unwind. Warm and very pleasant attention. Quiet village, and safe. Supermarkets nearby, and good good good good good good good good good in the area. Highly recommended stay. I would definitely come back.

We really appreciated our stay. Unfortunately we were there for only one night but it was the perfect place to unwind after hiking in Corcovado. The pool area is the highlight by far. It’s beautiful with nice chairs and tables to have a drink or eat. We were there all afternoon, we went before bed and were there in the morning while sipping coffee. The living room is really comfortable, I was debating sleeping there or in the bedroom! Our hosts suggested a local market nearby and we are so thankful because we got loads of nice veggies, fruits, excellent bread and fresh orange juice.

This is a beautiful spot! We had to make other arrangements do to a health emergency, so we were sorry to have to head out early but this pool area especially was gorgeous and Joseph and Lynn were so kind to us!
