Our family of 6 stayed at Lisa’s place for 4 nights in July and we wish we had stayed longer! The house had plenty of room for all of us. The view is incredible! It is an easy drive from the Liberia airport and was the perfect coastal getaway. We drove to the Hermosa grocery store to stock up for our stay; easy and convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The washing machine was a huge plus for us and we brought laundry detergent from home to wash our clothes. The location was an easy drive to multiple beaches and we came back every evening in time to watch the sunset. Our kids loved the beaches but all of us absolutely loved the view from pool at the house. Truly breathtaking! We gazed in awe as we watched the sun disappear into the water each night. Our kids (ages 5-13) were completely wowed by the view just as much as we were. The neighborhood was private and quiet. We’d definitely book again!

We had an incredible stay at Lisa’s house and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Guanacaste area. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful views that made every morning and evening feel special. The home itself is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, giving our group of five plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. The location couldn’t have been better. We were just a short drive from several beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and countless excursions, making it easy to experience everything the area has to offer. Whether we were spending the day at the beach, exploring nearby attractions, or simply enjoying the peaceful setting at the house, it was the perfect home base. Lisa was a wonderful host, and everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a private, relaxing, scenic, and conveniently located getaway in Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

This home is a stunner! The view is unmatched, the home itself was spotless, and the furniture was SO comfortable. Our kiddos loved it. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals from home. The location is nice and private, but i wouldn't reccomend arriving at night as the first time finding the place could be an adventure! Once we had our bearings it was easy enough getting around. We were delighted by the birds, and howler monkeys down the hill. Would not hesitate to book again if we were lucky enough to come back.

This house was incredible. The view is truly million-dollar both day and night, and seeing so many stars was an unexpected bonus. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made the stay even better. We will definitely be back.

My family of four 2 adults and 2 kids ages 14,11 just spent a week here . It was amazing waking up to that beautiful view in the morning and watching the sunset at night ! We enjoyed the pool so much and the ac works great after being out all day on excursions! The house has everything you need to cook . We stopped at Walmart before we went up the mountain to Lisa’s and got groceries. This place is a 10/10 !

Casa del Sol Poniente was a wonderful find! The ocean views and sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. The home comfortably sleeps six, with plenty of pool toys and board games — great for families with young kids. The neighborhood is quiet and the location is ideal for exploring Guanacaste. Host Lisa was welcoming and responsive, quickly addressing any questions and helping plan our excursions. We would definitely stay again!

The backyard with the pool and the sunset view is AMAZING!!! The house is gorgeous. You won't regret it.

First time our family of four has been to Costa Rica and this beautiful property was perfect for us! The view is even better than the photos. The house was well stocked and Lisa was a great host. We would 100% stay at Lisa’s property again.

We had a wonderful time staying at Lisa’s place. She truly has everything you need for a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, appliances, and plenty of kitchen tools. She even provides a plethora of spices, butter, and cooking oil. We were able to purchase groceries at Walmart in Liberia before checking in, and the fully stocked kitchen made it very easy to prepare meals during our stay. The view is absolutely gorgeous! Like another reviewer mentioned, we made sure to return before sunset each evening just to enjoy it. The beds were very comfortable, and overall, we had everything we needed. Finding the place is a little tricky at first—you need to go past the roundabout and through an open gate—but we called Luis, and he came immediately to guide us, which we really appreciated. If we return to Costa Rica, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Lisa, for sharing your amazing home!

There were 4 of us at Lisa’s place and we had an amazing stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with so many extra goodies. It made cooking very easy. The pool was fantastic and had a nice little waterfall feature. The beds were very comfortable and the air-conditioning worked perfect. It was nice and quiet and peaceful. We did not see any bugs or lizards or spiders. The grounds were very well maintained. Luis was taking care of our needs on site and did an amazing job. He and his wife made us dinner one night and it was absolutely fantastic. We sat out at the pool and watched the sunset every evening until the stars came out and we would see 1 million of them. It was just a little slice of heaven.

Lisa's place is much MORE beautiful then the photos. The stunning view overlooking the ocean was breathtaking. Her place was comfortable, clean, and relaxing. Lisa was SO nice and especially accomidating. Private safe neighborhood. Loved everything

The accommodations were perfect. Loved the view. The host was very responsive. Would not hesitate to stay here again. When I return to the area, will likely stay here again.

Lisa's place is a perfect little place of paradise in Guanacaste, CR. On top of the hills, the house offers an incredible view of the Ocean and Papagayo Bay. It's serene and very quiet. The pool is amazing and the house is very comfortable. Luis, the property manager was great and helped us immediately with whatever questions we had. Highly recommended.
