We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mariposa. The house had everything we needed and the views were incredible.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Villa for a Family Getaway We had a fantastic stay at this villa in Ocotal. The home was spacious, comfortable, and exactly as described. It was the perfect setup for our family group, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. The location was excellent—close to Playa Ocotal, Playas del Coco, restaurants, grocery stores, and local attractions, while still feeling private and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the pool and outdoor spaces after a day of exploring Guanacaste. The host was responsive, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. We greatly appreciated the flexibility with our arrival, which made the start of our vacation much easier. The villa served as a great home base for our adventures, including ATV tours, snorkeling, beach days, and exploring the surrounding area. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to families or groups looking for a comfortable and well-located Costa Rica getaway. Pura Vida!

We were lucky enough to enjoy Villa Mariposa for a month we will never forget. Everything was fantastic. The stunning views felt like a dream. This home is beautiful, clean, and supplied with everything you could ever need. Amanda thought of everything and Melina could not have been more responsive.

Wow! We scheduled a couples trip to Costa Rica- first time for both couples. The views at Villa Mariposa were breathtaking. The location is perfect and a quick Uber ride into Coco for live music and amazing food. We stayed for Valentine's Day and Melina (property manager) helped us book a private chef, Kendall! He came to the home and made the most amazing meal that was the highlight of our stay! The pool and outdoor space was lovely. We enjoyed the rocking chairs and views from the balcony. The beds were comfortable, and the home was well stocked with everything you need for cooking and your stay. This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay and we will certainly be back! A special thanks to Melina for making sure we had clear directions and any assistance we needed while travelling.

We enjoyed our week stay at Villa Mariposa. The Villa had all we needed to make our stay very comfortable. Nice open floor plan for 5 adults. Great views.

Amanda's place in Ocotal was perfection for our stay. The views and peaceful surroundings with wildlife viewing was exactly what we were hoping for during our first trip to Costa Rica. Her house manager provided us with helpful recommendations for an outstanding sailboat trip and was very responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you're looking for a mix of relaxation and a convenient launching point to explore the country and its beautiful landscape. The home was appointed with everything we needed during our stay.

Villa mariposa was the perfect spot for a family vacation, first time in the country of beautiful Costa Rica. The directions to the villa were clear and we were able to find it easily. The villa was perfectly described in the description and in the photos. We lived the location, it gave us a beautiful view of Ocotal. While Ocotal is a smaller town Coco is just minutes away with more restaurants, shops, etc. the house had everything we needed and then some. Ocotal was our fav beach but Pez Azul was next to the house which was just as equally beautiful. Melina was so helpful and responsive prior and during our trip helping us set up excursions and giving us plenty of recommendations. Thank you for our first trip as a family to CR♥️

We loved our stay here and hated to leave. The view and location were perfect. The beds were comfortable and AC worked well. The house really felt like home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and we appreciated the beach chairs/towels and cooler bag for use. Melina was so helpful with all of our questions and set up a snorkel/fishing trip for us which resulted in bonus whale watching! The pool was great and we loved the big porch and had fun seeing howler monkeys come by one afternoon. The drive was quick to local beaches Ocotal or Pez Vela with easy access/parking and great restaurants (Soluna and Father roosters) and our kids loved spending the days on the beach. We enjoyed our stay and hope we will be fortunate enough to visit again!

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home overlooking the Gulf of Papagayo. The views were absolutely breathtaking—sunrises, sunsets, and everything in between felt like a dream. The house was spotless, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was welcoming and responsive, making sure we felt right at home. Could not have had a better experience. Melina was extremely accommodating and quick to respond. Melina helped us to set up excursions, came to meet us at the place and welcome us to the area, offering suggestions for beautiful beaches and great restaurants! Melina further went above and beyond and offered suggestions to make our last minute wedding BEAUTIFUL!! The place itself is private, with lots of fun wildlife that come and visit. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a beautiful and memorable stay 🌼🦋

Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful rooms and outdoor area. Easy walk to the beach. Great view. Amanda was easy to work with and very helpful. Definitely a highlight of our trip.
