A wonderful stay. Maite was a very friendly and helpful host from the very first moment. The place was impeccable, very comfortable and exactly as shown in the pictures. We felt right at home and really enjoyed the experience. We would definitely stay again and recommend it 100%. Thank you very much for everything!

My family and I felt right at home at the Butterfly House in La Fortuna. The hosts were very responsive, quickly answering any questions we had. They even gave us some terrific recommendations for local sights and outings. The space is entirely as advertised and was very comfortable for our family of four - a great place to immerse yourself in the jungle!

The Butterfly house was equipped with absolutely everything you will need to have a comfortable stay. The washer and dryer were a huge bonus for us. The volcano view from the backyard is stunning. Lots of birds to see (and hear). We even had some horses visit one day. It is a bit out of the way but we were looking for a quiet place outside of LaFortuna. Super easy check in and out.

The place was great. The AC worked beautifully and kept it very comfortable inside. The kitchen was well equipped. It’s far enough outside of town to give you nice peace and quiet but close enough that you can get to things easily. We had beautiful views of the volcano during our stay.

Cute little place. Felt very calming and peaceful located in a great location in my opinion close to everything far enough from everything. Its not our first time in costa rica and we now know where wi will be staying at in our future visits.

We loved Mariposa House. Great location. Close to all the tourist attractions but far enough away from the noise. The little house is very well equipped, and the most valuable thing is the nature that surrounds it. Most importantly, our pet was welcome. We will definitely be back.

It's a very nice little house with attention to detail. You can really unwind here after your experiences in La Fortuna. The house is very clean, and if you want to cook, it really has everything you need. The house is located on a very small street, but you can get to all the activities in the area quickly enough. The faucet in the bathroom is the only thing that is a nuisance. Another model should be installed there.

the house was a beautiful cute house. easy to find as they have put butterfly 🦋 symbol at the entrance. backyard is also nice to sit and relax with lots of chirping birds.

One of the best Airbnb apartments we have ever stayed in! I have never experienced such a fully equipped kitchen as here - really everything you need is there: coffee and kettle, rice cooker, contact grill, Turmix, air fryer, induction stove, etc... The kitchen utensils are impeccable. The bedrooms, living rooms are very tastefully decorated. Everything is sparkling clean and nicely thought out. The garden is also very well maintained and quite large. The location is very quiet and close to nature. I highly recommend this apartment!

Very beautiful location and view of the volcano

A wonderful and cozy house. A very peaceful, quiet, and safe location, just 5-10 minutes from the main attractions. We loved everything. There was space to play ball, and firewood was prepared for a bonfire. At night, we could admire the stars. We will definitely recommend Maite’s house for a stay in Arenal. Thank you!

Finding the location and getting in was easy since the door has a code rather than a key. This allowed us to check-in a bit early and get settled. The host was extremely responsive when it came to questions and requests and they helped resolve everything from where to find firewood, accessing the washer and dryer, and dealing with occasional bugs. Both bedrooms were spacious with queen beds in each and AC in all rooms. The bathroom, while small, had a nice shower. The location was enough outside of La Fortuna to be peaceful and quiet (and very safe), but close enough to get to any excursion or restaurant in under 15 minutes.

We loved that we saw so many birds in the backyard imduring the morning!
