Very friendly and responsive host. Well equipped apartment. There are even chairs and beach towels.

Nice accommodation with pool right nearby. Very nice, well decorated, we had a pleasant stay there. For surfing, we preferred Playa Grande and Playa Langosta.

Stephanie went above and beyond as a host making sure that we had working ac, extra garbage bags, and a stove that worked well. Usually, things don't all happen at once but when ours wasn't working she made sure that they got fixed quickly and was super accommodating. Definitely could have been a much worse experience without her. We loved the location and the pool. We will definitely come back!

I traveled alone with my two young boys and I can’t say enough good things about our stay! First, Stephanie and her condo were total gems. The place is tucked away from the arterial street in a quiet cove on the hill, yet it’s totally within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The condo was squeaky clean and had everything we needed, complete with all kitchen appliances & utensils- something important to me as I prefer to cook to constantly dining out. The AC worked well, although the blinds provided plenty of shade and there was an abundant breeze from the balcony and windows, so we didn’t even need to use it as often. The pool was well maintained— my boys loved it! Steph was also very proactive about providing us with some necessities and when I ran into some trouble she was extremely responsive and helpful. Totally recommend!

Clean, safe place with good amenities, a place to rest near the beach

This place was amazing. Awesome pool. Monkeys in the trees. Close to town. The host was really helpful. Our stay in Tamarindo was everything we hoped for and more.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city. We would definitely come back there!

The condo is located close enough to walk to most amenities and the beach, and the on-site host was so accommodating when my family of three had trouble finding it 😁 we definitely wish we could have stayed longer!

Very good host, very comfortable Accommodation

From the moment I contacted Stephanie she was responding with a solution of us leaving our bags on the balcony as we arriving too early but she ensured personally that we were taken care of! That was above and beyond expected. We loved the place and so close to the grocery store and great restaurants! If you’re up early- highly recommend Refugio! Close walk to the beach. I can’t speak highly enough of this place- one exit has you close to one side of town ans the other exit has you closer to the other. If- when- we cone back we will be booking again!
