Villa Massis was absolutely wonderful. Larry and all of the staff were incredibly welcoming. The property was even more beautiful in real life. Our room was as pictured and extremely comfortable. Onsite food and drinks were great and reasonably priced. Hanging out by the river and the bar by the pool were highlights. The only thing I regret was booking so many tours before arriving, I had no idea they would be able to arrange so much for us on site. Next time I would book everything directly. We can’t wait to visit again on a future trip.

Very good stay, all the staff were lovely and the accommodation very comfortable and faithful to the photos. The bedrooms are perfectly equipped. Small downside is the activities offered which are quite expensive, same as for the restaurant and bar on site.

You can feel the care and attention that Larry has put into creating Villas Massis. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and caring. It is very peaceful and quiet, though we were woken up by Howler Monkeys in the morning, which is a treat in itself. Also apparently there is a family of toucan that you can see living on the property, though we didn’t catch them this time around. Thanks Larry!

Villa Massis was wonderful! I can’t say enough about Larry and the staff. Larry answered all of my questions quickly and with great helpfulness! They are all attentive and cheerful. The food is amazing! Larry set the tours up directly for us with suggestions for our timing needs. Everyone goes above and beyond. The property is very well-maintained and beautiful. You can swim in the river or chill at the pool right next to the bar. Great food and drinks. Great penthouse. Great staff. Loved it!

I really enjoyed my stay. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It had everything I needed for a relaxing trip. The only issue was the pool, it had quite a few bugs and debris from the surrounding trees, which made it less enjoyable to use. A pool net or more frequent cleaning would make a big difference. Overall, still a great stay and I’d definitely consider coming back!

This was our favorite spot that we stayed in during our 10 days in Belize! Larry has created a wonderful environment, from the monkeys that we saw in the trees our first day to the beautiful green river a few minutes away from where we stayed. He and his staff are so kind and helpful with planning excursions, educating us about the culture and making us feel like we were at home in the jungle. Larry's sister is the chef and she made the most delicious meals that we ate amongst hummingbirds and the sounds of the jungle. Larry is awesome at maximizing the time you have while you're there. We can't wait to come back and bring more loved ones with us next time. Definitely stay here!!

Larry’s place was a perfect spot to come back to every night after busy days exploring the surrounding areas. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The meals were delicious and my daughter loved the pool. Absolutely would recommend staying here.

A beautiful place that is about 15mins from Downtown San Ignacio. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice upscale location that’s close to historical sites like the ATM or ruins for example.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property, the thoughtful details throughout the villa, and the warm hospitality. The villa was spotless, spacious, and even more stunning than the photos. Every amenity we could have needed was provided, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect — peaceful and private. Larry was great and communicated with us before and during the trip to accommodate everything we asked for. The villas have a pool, restaurant and bar. They serve breakfast and dinner. We didn’t have a bad meal. The chef was amazing and everything was delicious. I want to emphasize that the icing on the cake was the actual staff. It’s a quaint 4 villa resort so you get to know the staff and they were fantastic. They made me a birthday cake and sang to me with candles and gave us complimentary wine. They tended to our every request! I am out of room but this place=truly amazing!

Amazing spot tucked away in a beautiful area. Close enough to town to do whatever you wanted, but also very secluded and relaxed. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Larry is a fantastic host, he made us feel right at home as well as all of the rest of the staff. They did a great job taking care of us, and would be back in an instant

We LOVED staying at Villa Massis! The sweet and friendly staff treated us like family, and Melanie even baked me the most delicious and beautifully decorated cake as a surprise for my birthday! The restaurant and bar on site are a MUST! The surrounding settings are so beautiful and all the plants are so stunning, they do a wonderful job of taking care of the landscape. The property is right on the Mopan River, and we saw iguanas, toucans, geckos, and even heard howler monkeys at night! Larry has built a true paradise here, and we would surely be back to do it all again! Thank you all for an unforgettable experience! 💚

Villa Massis is a beautiful accommodation. Love the grounds and the staff was Amazing. Everyone was so friendly and made me feel extra special for my birthday. They even made me a chocolate cake to celebrate. Larry was very knowledgeable about the area and his book is very informative. Thank you and your amazing staff for a lovely birthday trip.
