Fabulous place and location

Our stay at Yoshi’s on the Beach in Puerto Viejo was nothing less than wonderful. The beautifully appointed, architecturally well-designed, spacious, well-kept, location-perfect home provided all we could ask for. Yoshi was always available through messaging for any questions, helpful suggestions and just being interested in making our stay memorable. The gated property, directly across the local street from the beautiful beach, was also very close to the town with all the local fare, restaurants and a place to wander. Our only concern was that it was open air (which is a cool concept); however the main areas could get hot. The bedrooms are air conditioned though! Still, a definite 5 star recommendation from us!

Loved our tucked away Oasis right across from Playa Negra! Great location just a few minutes drive to the center of Puerto Viejo. I was extremely happy with our location in a peaceful area. Stocked kitchen, ac in the rooms, everything we needed!

A beautiful place—you just cross the street and you're at the ocean. The house is super comfortable and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen. We loved staying there and would be happy to do so again the next time we visit the Caribbean. The host is very friendly and attentive. One of the best places!

Absolutely loved our stay. The property is exactly like the photos and so beautiful. It’s right along Playa Negra and it’s part of a cute little community. Yoshua was very welcoming and gave us a ton of recommendations - which we ended up snorkelling at Playa Cahuita. This was amazing and made our trip even better. Thank you for a beautiful birthday experience.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. The location truly couldn’t be better, you literally cross the street and you’re at the beach. Being able to hear the waves and nature from the open-air upstairs space was incredibly calming and made the whole experience feel peaceful and relaxing. The home still felt very private despite the openness, which we really appreciated. Everything was very clean, the air conditioning and fans kept the house cool, and the Wi-Fi connection worked great throughout our stay. I especially loved the outdoor shower, it was such a unique feature that felt open yet completely private. The house is also conveniently located near great restaurants and the main beach road, making it easy to explore the area. Yoshi was an excellent host: very responsive and helped us book excursions. When the gate battery died during our stay, he arrived in less than 20 minutes to fix it, which we really appreciated. Over 10/10!!

We enjoyed our stay in Puerto Viejo through Yoshi! The house is laid out well with open space upstairs to enjoy the sound of the ocean and breezes. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our family of 5, especially given we stayed 9 days. It has good proximity and an easy walk to downtown. There is much to do in this area, and it has a real Caribbean vibe. Yoshi was very responsive to any needs we had, and our family felt the house and the experience we had were great! We strongly recommend Yoshi as a host and would stay here again.
