My wife and I loved Evan’s house. It was the perfect space for our needs. Evan was extremely responsive to any challenges we had, he communicated quickly and provided solutions in an extremely efficient manner. The property is very private. We found it relaxing and peaceful. The house is in a secure area and everything we could possibly want or need was in walking distance. We would love to come back again and spend more time in paradise. Pura Vida!

We had a great stay in Evan's home. He was very responsive when I messaged him. Juan, the property manager, is absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. Not only did he help with anything we needed but also showed us local areas that we may have missed otherwise. The house is much bigger than the photos show and in a great location. The hot water and pressure in the showers is the best that we've experienced!

Evan’s house is a basic, budget place to stay. There aren’t all that many Airbnbs in Escazú that accept pets, so we were lucky to find this one. Things to note: 1. There’s a separate room for an office, with a decent chair, a big desk, and a monitor. HOWEVER, on sunny days it gets horribly hot in there. Literally 90F/32C, which is not okay if you want to work. 2. The house is within walking distance of many places. 3. If you don’t mind the noise from the open window, there’s a nice cross breeze that helps cool down the whole place at night. However, it’s very noisy: big trucks, buses, loud motorcycles, sirens, a school, a loud business, etc. 4. It’s easy and fast to catch an uber, and they’re really cheap. 5. Internet was fast upstairs (but intermittent downstairs). 6. Water goes out frequently. 7. No butterfly garden. 8. House manual needs updated. 9. Evan is generally very responsive. 10. The oven is very confusing, with #s 1-5 instead of degrees or standard gas marks.

The house was exactly what we expected, and the price was reasonable. It's a good neighborhood and the locals are friendly. There's a grocery, pharmacy, and a bakery a block away, and other services in walking distance. It took a while to figure out how to work the faucets, and the refrigerator's ice maker was broken. The Internet connectivity is good. The house isn't air-conditioned but that wasn't much of a problem; there are fans & a nice breeze. There is no dishwasher, but there are two sinks. We washed the dishes just fine. The big screen TV works. The kitchen has an ok supply of cookware and appliances. When problems cropped up, Evan was easy to reach. My wife and I spent about five weeks there while we went apartment-hunting, and were comfortable the entire time. This is a house in Costa Rica, meaning there will be occasional creepy-crawlies and small lizards. Bottom line- we definitely would rent here again.

Don’t expect anything too fancy, but it definitely got the job done for my cousins and I. Excellent value in my opinion. I work from my computer, so the room with the desk was a huge perk. Wifi was great. The kitchen was good for cooking meals at home, although we could never figure the oven out. Great location. 5 stars.

The house is very conveniently located in Escazu, very spacious and safe, and I was able to bring my service dog with me. Evan went above and beyond to be flexible with our reservation, communication was timely and always friendly. Thank you so much for being an incredible host, I truly appreciate your sense of hospitality!

Evan was so helpful and communicative throughout the booking process and our stay in Escazu. His home was much bigger in person and the dedicated workspace was awesome. From the balcony and the outdoor space you can see all kinds of birds, butterflies, and lizards. The home is within walking distance of a great bakery, several grocery stores, and loads of restaurants. There’s also a fenced in park nearby that is a nice outdoor space for pets. I would recommend this home for long term stays.

The house is large, safe, comfortable and private. The very comfortable beds, the wide office and gave us the opportunity to even accommodate an additional office space on the ground floor. It has good lighting and by keeping the windows open it ventilates the whole house very well. Located in a very central location, close to everything. Even though the area is bustling because the main street is nearby, it is almost not heard inside the house, and already just by putting music it disguises the noise quite a bit. The only thing a little negative that we find, is that the noise made by the workshop on the front was louder and more continuous than we would have liked. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. Thanks Evan for having us.
