We were in Casa Zu three years ago. And when we decided to go to La Fortuna for 4 Nights, we knew we have to stay again with Kendal in La Tigra. Spacious space, cozy, clean and as bonus you can pet the horses. Thank you Kendal again. 🙂

Amazing local experience. Love the colonial style and Kendal was great all the way. The Rancho is such a nice place. People are so nice there and getting back to the Kendall's place after a few drinks is unique. Note that this place may not work for everyone, the living room communicate directly with the yard. We personally loved getting up to the sound of the birds and the tropical paradise , it's truly amazing.

Very convenient restaurant next door with pool option. The airbnb is very spacious and comfortable, very nice. Recommended

We wanted to welcome 2023 in a quiet place with our friends and pets. We found Casa Zu and it was the perfect place full of space and a lot of nature. The 31 Kendal was kind enough to prepare us a fire pit, table with tablecloths, candles, sheets, lights making our stay a cozy and unique evening. Kendal was always attentive to our questions and needs, a person too accessible to make our experience the best for us and without leaving our dogs next to us who also felt that excellent treatment from the host.

Kendal is kind and helpful, the Location IS beautiful and spacious.

Kendal's place was a lucky find and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, despite it being a bit out of the way for the national park. The garden is a treasure trove for bird lovers and we even found some strawberry poison-dart frog. We didn't realise that the living area is completely open with no windows, which is just of note for anyone that is vehemently against insects and other creatures being attracted by the lamps. We very much enjoyed it, especially when it was raining. Heavy rain is quite loud on the metal roof and made sleep the first night a bit disruptive and being indoors generally noisy. The entrance gate gets locked every night so we didn't have to worry about our car, and Kendal was very responsive whenever we wanted to have it opened in the mornings. Kendal was great to communicate with, he made sure the music from the nearby restaurant didn't bother us on the Saturday and was always on hand.

This home was exactly what we were looking for. You could feel the warm and inviting energy as soon as you walk in. It was perfectly clean, big, and comfortable. The host Kendall was extremely accommodating and kind. We really enjoyed our stay here! Hope to return soon

A house in a beautiful area, 39 minutes from fortune, 10 minutes from rivers, the property has a lot of green area to enjoy and next door there is a restaurant with delicious food and very good prices ,recommended for groups or family walks

Ideally located and cheap, a home where you feel like you're outside. Impeccable to go to Arenal Volcano!

Casa Zu it’s a unique stay. We spent a month here and enjoyed so many aspects of it. We loved the 6 AM sunrises, looking over the gardens. We enjoyed the interior spaces, the decor elements, the ambience at night. Villa Rodeo Restaurant, also on the property, was a frequent stop for dinner, drinks or to meet locals. Kendall is a very thoughtful host and we enjoyed meeting and spending time with his family who live on the property. Highly recommended for a relaxing, authentic Tico experience.
