I stayed here for two months and absolutely loved it. Guillermo and his family are amazing hosts and super friendly people. The location is situated perfectly between playa Coco and playa Ocotal. I would recommend renting a moped, car, or golf cart to easily travel to the surrounding beaches and towns. The property is gated with space for parking. Lots of friendly stray cats, chickens, and dogs so perfect for animal lovers. 10/10 experience - I hope to return soon! Thanks for having me :)

The room was very comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen, and at a fair price. The hosts are kind and respond quickly to questions. Good location. I will stay again.

An excellent place, very safe and quiet, nearby beaches, good restaurants.

Guillermo and Maria are great hosts. Answered all of our questions, provided information about local activities, ie Bull riding contest held nearby, great fun! Provided us with an outdoor charcoal grill to use and a Forman type electric grill. Property was always well maintained and secured by gated entry. They have evening outdoor lights strung up that gave the place a charming, welcoming ambiance and a great way to sit outside and imbibe some of the local drinks. The internet wifi worked great. AC worked good, so it was always comfortable inside. We stayed there for 5 weeks and would have stayed longer if not for personal time restraints. Our experience was that we made a good choice when we chose this property to stay at while visiting Costa Rica, it was close to everything but still off the beaten trail and peaceful.

Having chosen Casa Bendi as the place to do a personal art and writing retreat, it was perfect for me. The family is very helpful. They greeted me when I arrived after a 37 hour journey from Berlin, ordered me a pizza delivered, and picked up some groceries for me. It really got my stay off on a great note. Super pleased!

A very quiet, safe and clean place, as seen in the photos, doña María is very kind and very accessible for any query. The place is close to beaches and beautiful places, 100% recommended.

Guillermo's place is exactly as described and wonderful overall. The space was a nice size, the AC worked wonderfully, the kitchen had all of the needed items, and the fridge worked perfectly. Having access to the washer and dryer was great. There was parking and the complex was very safe. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Casa Bendi is located between Playa Del Coco and Playa Ocotal so it was easy to walk to either beach/town. We preferred Ocotal due to the beach being a little more quiet. The place was also very clean with amazing hosts. Guillermo and Maria always answered messages quickly to provide help when needed and made sure to check in to see if we needed anything. They also own a little restaurant beside mega super in Coco with traditional Costa Rican food. I would highly recommend trying their restaurant while you're there!
