HELLO. THE PLACE IS VERY NICE. VERY WELL MAINTAINED. BEAUTIFUL GARDENS. LOTS OF ANIMALS TO SEE AND PLACES TO MEDITATE.
We had a great stay and we loved the space and surrounding areas. We got to swim in the river right behind the house and hearing the river at night was very soothing. We would definitely come back here if we have a chance to visit this part of Costa Rica. Everything was close by, we did the Mystic bridges, La Fortuna waterfall and Arenal volcano. Coming back to rest here made our visit so much better. Thank you for sharing your space and allowing us to enjoy this beautiful house.
When we made the reservation, we didn't realize it was a tourist center. The house is for large groups, but there are several small cabins around, so all the common areas are shared (ranches, pools, plazas, etc.). In general, we were alone. On a few occasions, we ran into other people. The large ranch had a slightly unpleasant smell despite being clean. We thought it needed a bit of maintenance and more comfortable chairs, but we enjoyed the pool in that area quite a bit. Check-out from the house is at 11:00 AM, but we were told that we could stay on the premises until later (we left the large ranch and pools at 3:00 PM). This is a plus. Overall it is a nice, spacious place with a very attentive and kind manager.
Amazing stay for our big group of 14. I thought there would be enough bed for everyone. But the beds were big enough for people to double up. The place is beautiful and the staff is so helpful and knowledgeable about the sourrounding area

Excellent location and a very relaxing setting. The only things they should improve a bit are the bathrooms; for me, there was a lack of privacy in one of the rooms, which is only covered by a curtain, and there are drafts. Also, the mattresses on the large beds are a bit damaged. But apart from that, our family had a good time as a group of 14.
We stayed as a group of 15 people, and the experience was very good. Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The place is very pleasant, comfortable, and exactly as shown in the posted photos, which is always appreciated. Communication with Juan Gabriel, the host, was clear and smooth at all times, which made it very easy to coordinate our stay.
The property is just as shown in the pictures. We were a family group of 12 people and we really enjoyed the house and its social space. We would come back again

I had a fantastic stay at Juan Gabriel’s place! From start to finish, everything was smooth and well-organized. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy all that Costa Rica has to offer. Juan Gabriel was a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and eager to ensure a great experience. His communication was clear, and he genuinely cares about providing top-notch service. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a welcoming and hassle-free experience. Pura vida!
Very good communication with the host and excellent service, however there were some small details to improve in terms of the property and access to its attractions.
Beautiful area , great service . We had a group of 15 people . 4 rooms , 2 of which were set up dorm style . Plenty of room inside and out to spread out. This place is 5 min or so from downtown, la fortuna waterfall and maybe 10 mins from the thermal pools we went to (bonus: this resort gives you a discount to Termalitas so enjoy !) With such a large crowd , we inquired about getting us someone to cook and our host, Juan Gabriel came through for us , arranging for his beautiful mama to cook homemade meals for our group. A great experience, quality and very welcoming ! Staff was friendly . The facility was clean , and the roaring creek and sitting area was over the top . 10/10 ! The maintenance was on top of any request we made , promptly and efficiently.
