This is a fantastic house and we would stay here again . Very clean. Great location.

Great place to stay, with a large and bright living room on the ground floor and a nice open kitchen. Very comfortable beds and very tidy and clean upon our arrival.

Stayed here a week and had a great time. We did have some bugs inside the place, and the coffee maker was very slow, but they were very fast to response and offered to come out and check but it didn’t bother us enough to warrant that. The house is very nice but does get warm outside the bedrooms (stayed in late June/early July). Had plenty of games to keep our 4 and 6 year old entertained, and the pool was great. Just a short drive to the town/beach. Had a great stay

We had a great time on Spring Break with three teenagers. The space was perfect for us and we all slept so well. Hearing the howler monkeys each morning ( and seeing them!) was a delight. The house is close to everything but also nicely situated in a quiet neighborhood. We loved it!

Casa Helene was beautiful! The kids loved the pool and enjoyed laying on the net. We had a rental car but restaraunts, groceries and beach were walkable, within 10-15 minutes. We felt safe and secure. Host was responsive to all questions. We would definitely stay again.

This was a lovely home for our family of 5. The lounging net and view through the window was the absolute best. We all enjoyed it. Great location. Beds comfortable and A/C in bedrooms worked well. Would definitely stay her again.

We loved our stay at Casa Helene! We've been to Samara many times, and this neighborhood is our favorite to stay in - close to everything, but removed when you want the quiet. The house is beautiful and clean and was just as pictured. We loved the pool and the outdoor space. The clothes line was also helpful. And our kids definitely got a kick out of the net - a favorite place to read! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Casa Helena is a stunning, well-designed home that feels fresh and new. We spent so much time on the back patio while the kids enjoyed the pool, and the furnishings and finishes are truly beautiful. The upstairs netting was a unique touch; our kids loved it for lounging and reading. There’s plenty of space to spread out, and the bedrooms were comfortable with A/C for sleeping. The main living/kitchen area doesn’t have A/C, so it can get warm during the day, but we adapted quickly. Town is walkable, though we typically drove. The hosts were responsive, professional, and communicated clearly. We’d absolutely recommend Casa Helena.

A beautiful modern house with all the amenities. So nice to have your own pool and wildlife in the forest behind you. So many monkeys and birds - Great corner store and a short walk to the beach.

Terrific home for our week in Costa Rica. Brand new grill, outdoor table & chairs, lounge chairs by the pool and on the sun deck, washer dryer, tremendously stocked kitchen with all amenities — highly recommend and will return !!

My family and I really enjoyed our time at Casa Helena. The house is incredible, with wide open living spaces and a lovely backyard that includes a pool. The management company was responsive through the AirBnB app throughout our stay. The kitchen is well equipped, although a BBQ would be a great addition to the property. An outdoor shower leading to the master bedroom was a wonderful feature. The master bedroom also has a huge walk-in closet where we stored all our luggage, so there was no need to carry suitcases upstairs to the other bedrooms. There is plenty to see and do in Samara. The home is about a 15-20 minute walk from the beach, and there are many sodas (restaurants) and markets even closer. The surrounding neighbourhood has a very rural feel You may be woken by a rooster crowing. There are horses and cows grazing very close by as well. The house also backs onto a small forest, where you might spot a monkey or two. I highly recommend this house for your vacation.

Place was just as pictured. It’s walking distance to the downtown area of Samara.

Casa Helene is a gorgeous spot. It’s clean and modern, private and serene, and was an excellent value. The pool backs up to trees and we could hear howler monkeys during our whole stay. The pool was very refreshing as well!

This house is incredible. So cool and clean. We loved our time there. Some things we didn't know going in where the road to the house is kind of rough. We had 4 wheel drive and we were thankful for that. There is no oven. I'm sure it said that in the description we just didn't pay attention. The main living area gets pretty hot. There are several ceiling fans and that helped a lot. The bedrooms all have AC and were comfortable. Lot's of bugs and lizards are able to get it. It's Costa Rica, so that's to be expected. But, everything about the house is just terrific. The property management team was quick to respond and communicate. We had some issues of stuff breaking (a waterline broke outside and the dishwasher wasn't working) but they quickly sent our new friend Jose over to fix the issues in a timely manner. Stuff breaks. It happens. They responded well. House is as it's described and we had a great week.

Excellent place !!

This place was great. It was exactly as the pictures portray it. Beautiful layout - felt spacious for our family with 3 teenagers. We used the pool everyday, but also still walked to the beach. The closest soda was awesome as well as the closest grocery. We ended up renting a golf cart to explore a bit more which was fun.

My family loved staying at this luxurious property! We especially enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi as well as the quiet location and beauty and architecture of the home itself. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch surrounded by the beautiful jungle in the back yard where we spotted howler monkeys, hummingbirds, chickens, and horses. The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off after a swim. The location was ideal - away from the hustle and bustle of the city center yet still walkable if desired. Playa Sámara was a 15 min walk but also easy to access by car. Playa Carrillo was a quick 15 min drive and well worth the visit! The property was gated which provided extra security but we felt safe the entire time. The home and kitchen were equipped with everything we needed and the complimentary bottled water and pineapple were much appreciated after a long day of travel. The host even helped us air our tire upon departure. We would definitely recommend this home and stay again!
