Excellent apartment-type house with all the necessary amenities, and very close to everything. Kim always responded to me as soon as possible. I recommend it.

We had a great time at Kim's. home surrounded by greenery good bedding and air conditioning I recommend it.

I really liked this place. It has great natural light. The host is very helpful. There's a steep, twisting (switchbacks) walk down to and up from MTZ, but you get used to it. I highly recommend this place.

Great stay

Kim's home is in a natural environment full of birds and monkeys, our stay was more than perfect.

Kim was an excellent host, she was always available when needed. We had everything we needed, she was just a superb host and we highly recommend this private and beautiful place.

The worst part of staying at Congo House is ever having to leave it! I could've gladly stayed there forever. The casa is in beautiful surroundings, I loved the sounds of the howler monkeys and grey-cowled wood rails in the morning. The casa is clean and well maintained with a modern stove & full sized fridge in the kitchen. The host Kim is a compassionate, kind, thoughtful person and she responds quickly to any questions or problems you might have. I already miss Congo House and sitting on the deck watching the group of capuchin monkeys that passed by every day. It is up the hill a bit from Montezuma but I rarely had the chance to walk back from town, a local would usually stop by on their ATV or motorcycle & offer me a ride to the casa. I am definitely planning on coming back and booking Congo House for a longer stay next time.

We had a smooth stay at Kim’s, we arrived at her place and she showed us to our cabina. Kim was friendly, attentive and helpful during our stay! We would recommend and definitely visit again. Located a little bit outside of town up the hill, having your own car is very helpful to accessing the property! Thank you Kim, you’re a wonderful host!

Kim was kind, generous and a pleasure to deal with. The room was larger than expected and quite reasonably priced. The location is 1.2 miles from town and requires traversing a very steep hill. So, its a healthy hike (a taxi from town is also available for 3,000 CRC). We quite enjoyed the hill climb challenge and the B&B location is in a lovely rural setting complete with birds, butterflies and swaying palms.

This has been such a wonderful experience that I will always cherish! Kim goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are comfortable and happy! I would suggest this stay to anyone who is hoping for a peaceful, simple and accommodating space. Awakening to the howler monkeys and sounds of nature all around, plus the sweet visits from the neighbor dogs warmed my heart so much each and every day... and the option of air conditioning on super hot days was a lifesaver! I will stay here again in a heartbeat! Muchas muchas gracias Kim I am so grateful!

Kim is a really great host and we felt super comfortable with her from the first moment. We would come back anytime and only want to stay here, especially since Montezuma is definitely worth a visit.

Quaint place that meets all your basic needs for comfort. Great location, quiet, and very affordable.
