We stayed for six days and had a wonderful experience. The house was exactly as pictured; beautiful, spacious, spotless on arrival, and very comfortable for our group of seven. It was only about a 10-minute walk to the main avenue, which made getting around very convenient. We felt safe throughout our entire stay. We visited during a time when the sargassum on the beach was quite heavy, but having such a lovely house and pool more than made up for it. The ferry to Cozumel was only a 10 minute walk from the house. The only thing we would mention is the lack of basic household essentials, such as salt, sugar etc. Having a few pantry staples available would make cooking much easier. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would happily stay here again!

Great house and great location

We had an amazing stay at Jacqueline's villa. The place was exactly as pictured. Checkin was a breeze and the host sent over several recommendations for add ons during our stay. Chef Pedro and his team prepared delicious meals for the entirety of our stay. There is one small thing to note, the main area carries a profound echo. This mattered because we were having a small retreat and the echo from the kitchen when the chef was preparing our meal was a bit distracting. We were able to stagger our times after the first day and all was well. The rooftop was gorgeous. We spent a lot of time up there once it was shaded from the sun. Overall, the stay was a 10/10.

Everything about Jacqueline’s place was great! Very clean and had everything we needed for our group. The neighborhood is nice and right by the beach and shopping areas.

We loved the place and miss it already. It was convenient, spacious and well furnished. The host was flexible to accommodate our request.

We really enjoyed our stay at “Buena Suerte” house. Jaqueline was a wonderful host. She made sure she delivered all the information we needed to make our stay be very comfortable and she was in touch with us We had a very small private event that went smoothly thanks to this. Everything worked for the chefs we hired and they had everything they needed. We recommend hiring the ladies that help clean, we had Laura, she was wonderful and hard working lady that also made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The house was a beautiful house, with an amazing view of the ocean from the rooftop pool. If it’s too warm upstairs there is also a big pool downstairs which is a great place to hang out. The beach is very close, a 1 min walk and the beach was beautiful, we were very lucky with barely any sea weed on this area. The house and rooms were all very spacious. Overall it was a great stay at Casa “Buena Suerte” and would definitely rent again. Highly recommend this place.

The home was perfect for our group of friends. We rented scooters and had the best trip. The home was beautiful - very close to the ocean. We hired chef Pedro for a night and the food was wonderful. Looking forward to coming back with the kids.

We loved this place- spent a lot of time in the kitchen and rooftop pool area. The kitchen had every tool possible that you’d need to create a meal. We had several meals prepared by Chef Pedro and Juan which was a great experience. Flora and her team came out for massages and were professional and very good! We had some younger partiers next door that were very loud at 2am, violating quiet hours for Playacar. A quick message to the Airbnb host and she had security check it out promptly. The area overall felt very safe and it was a quick walk to beach access. The only downside was the amount of seaweed on the beach and in the water. I believe that’s a seasonal problem. Also- make sure to hit the grocery store beforehand specifically for dishwashing pods, lotions, soaps and laundry detergent, as that is not provided in the home. The closest restaurant is probably still a 20 minute walk to get out of playacar. The house was overall beautiful, very comfortable and a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house itself was great—clean, comfortable, and plenty of space. The host was very attentive and responsive, quickly answering any questions we had before and throughout our stay. The location was perfect, just a short 2 minute walk to the beach and about 10 minutes to Fifth Avenue, which made it easy to explore and enjoy everything nearby. Our favorite part was definitely the rooftop pool. It was spotless, relaxing, and offered an amazing view—such a highlight of our trip! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We went to celebrate mine and my husbands 50th birthday. There was 10 of us. This place exceeded all my expectations, and I am a person with high expectations! Highly recommend to everyone. Felt totally safe, beautiful house and fantastic location. Jacqueline’s suggestion for Pedro as a chef was absolutely perfect. What an incredible trip from start to finish.

Excellent property, prompt and responsive host.

We were a group of 8 celebrating a milestone birthday and we had the most amazing time at Jacqueline’s family home in Playa del Carmen. The house is fantastic; spacious, beautifully decorated, great view, and in a very safe neighborhood. The house was walkable to the downtown area complete so countless bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is a 2 min walk from the house. The ferry to Cozumel is a 5-10 min walk from the house as well. We certainly spent a good amount of time just hanging at the house as well, with the lap pool on the first floor and the rooftop pool and hot tub, you didn’t need to leave the house to enjoy yourself. This house was a real find!! I also want to give a shout out for chef Maui, who we hired to cook 6 meals for us during our stay. Maui and his partner Sandy were amazing! So very accommodating to a few food allergies and everything was just delicious! They also did all of the clean up after meals which was incredible. I cannot recommend them enough!
