Manuel

My fiancé and I were on our way back to the United States, but our flight was unfortunately canceled at the last minute. We found Manuel's listing on Airbnb right away. From the pictures posted, it appeared to be a great place for a reasonable price. However, upon arrival, the front desk attendant charged us again, regardless of showing him our receipt from Airbnb. They notified us that Airbnb was not recognized by the resort. In a panic, I tried contacting Manuel multiple times. He did not respond until the next morning - after we had checked out. When we arrived in our room, we were shocked to see that it did not at all match the pictures listed on Airbnb. The room was dilapidated, the bed was uncomfortable, and the bedside lamps were bent and not working. When Manuel finally responded the next morning, he did refund me our money. I wouldn't recommend booking this hotel through Airbnb. As a matter of fact, you will get a lower price and a nicer room if you book directly.
