We will be returning! I think we just found a piece of heaven in Costa Rica. It was an amazing vacation for the 6 of us. The layout of the house is extremely nice. The recommendations for food/tours/motor bikes rental/sailing/transportation and anything else we needed was wonderful. The caretakers are easily reached and are very helpful and responsive to all needs. the pool is a plus and the monkeys were fun to see in the backyard. I now understand why this property is getting these great reviews and it definitely deserves 5 stars!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Will's house; the managers were always willing to help us and give us recommendations. It's a private, spacious place, close to the beach... we all really enjoyed those days of rest.

We had a great stay at Jim's Beach House! The house is super comfortable and had everything we needed to make our own meals, which we did most nights. However, there are several good restaurants within walking distance. We loved the little trail behind the property which led directly to the beach. During the heat of the day we sat in the shaded area by the large, refreshing swimming pool. There were howler monkeys in the trees behind the property a few days which was fun! Willie is a great host, always available to answer any questions or for advice about the area. Max and Patricia were wonderful caretakers but never intrusive during our stay. We would rent this property again in a heartbeat!

We had such a lovely time at Jim’s Beach House. It was tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The beach was a very short walk away. We practically had the whole beach to ourselves for the few days we were there. The pool was big and was a nice break from the heat and the sand. The hosts were kind and helpful. We used Frijoles Locos for surf/boogie boards. I got a birthday massage from Jennifer, about 25 min away. Highly recommend!! After your message go to Bohemia across the street for dinner. We saw so much wildlife and really enjoyed our time. Checked out Tamarindo for the day, and we were so glad we picked our location in Playa Grande. Perfect for families seeking a little solitude and a lot of the Purs Vida life.

William was super communicative and very easy to work with! He had the house load with fresh fruits veggies and food. We had a great stay at Jim’s Beach House! Pura Vida!

Nice and personal service throughout our entire experience at Jim’s Beach House. Willie was helpful during booking and very responsive with our questions. He is super personable and it shows he wants guests to have a positive experience. During our week, Max was there to help with anything we needed and to answer any questions we had. We saw him many times and it is clear that he loves his work. He even helped us organize an adventure tour. (So much fun) This home is well loved and very comfortable, with easy access to the beach and a few local spots for food & drinks! Has all of your basic amenities and even a cooler to bring along with you for day trips which came in handy. Having a private pool to lounge around and cool off with cocktail in hand was amazing and well used! Would definitely return here if we are back in this area. Pura Vida 🇨🇷☀️

We had a wonderful stay in Playa Grande. Honestly, the house made our stay. We were incredibly comfortable and had anything we needed at our fingertips. Communication with the Host was always easy and quick, and very informative. We will definitely return and stay here again.

We finally found paradise at this lovely beach house. We loved being in nature in such a peaceful place but also with lovely restaurants nearby. The host is maybe the best I’ve ever experienced, truly a caring and kind person. The house is beautiful and clean. We really loved everything about this trip and will certainly recommend everybody I know.

Wonderful Home! The house was well situated, had plenty of space and anything we needed. If we need anything Max, the caretaker, was available to help us. Glad we chose this house and location. We have been to Palm Beach Estates before and it is a slice of paradise!

Jim's beach house is perfect for a peaceful family getaway to the beach. The house absorbed our family of five, which includes three teenagers, very well. The beach was perfect, with great options for surfing and swimming. We enjoyed using the pool in the mornings and afternoons. Willie and Jim were incredibly responsive and Max helped us organize surfing lessons, an estuary tour, and snorkling. We chose to work with Patricia and have a full Costa Rican breakfast every morning and it was delicious every time. Everyone was friendly and accommodating and we will definitely go back to Jim's Beach House and Playa Grande. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Great place to stay in quiet neighborhood with security close walk to the beach and convenience store 10min walk away. Pool was nice and big and rooms were very spacious and clean. Willie was fast with his responses if we needed anything and gave us lots of good recommendations for places to eat close by. Would stay here again!

We had an awesome stay at Jim’s Beach House. The house had everything you could want. Very spacious and private, super comfortable beds, beautiful patio, balcony, pool and lawn and super close walk to the beach. Had every you could want including surfboard racks. As great as the house was, the hosts were even better. Super friendly, thoughtful and attentive. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic place! Exactly what we were looking for. The house is lovely and the pool is perfect and is a dream to step outside to such a dream-like beach. Will definitely be back!
