Pinilla never disappoints, and Mary was very friendly and took good care of us. We were a family of 5, house was great for us. Beds very confy. Highly recommended!

Our family has gone to CR once a year since 2022. We absolutely love it there. This was the first time we tried the Hacienda Panilla area. I would not suggest for your first trip to CR because it’s very remote and it’s almost like off-roading to get there, but if you want to be “off the grid” and just relax with your family without worrying about site seeing etc., it’s absolutely perfect. We saw monkeys and wild macaws from the backyard. We also highly recommend getting your own rental car. The home itself was gorgeous and very well maintained. We were so comfortable and made memories we won’t forget. We hope to go back!

The house was beautiful and exceptionally well equipped. Mary was an outstanding host, always very attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful whenever we needed anything. The location was perfect for enjoying the beach. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to come back.

Highly recommended. The house is exactly as shown in the photos! DIVINE!!! The rooms are super spacious, and the common area is very comfortable! Everything is like new! Mary's service was amazing. She is extremely attentive and ready to help with whatever you need. We look forward to coming back soon!

Mary was a terrific host and the house was gorgeous. She was extremely responsive, everything was super clean, they had everything you needed, including beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler to make the day at the beach wonderful. The pool at the house was a modest size but super clean and lovely for cooling off. Every room being an en-suite with its own bathroom was great. The house is about a 12 minute drive to Playa Avellanas, which is great for surf lessons, and swimming when the tide is low. It’s 35 min to Tamarindo, where you’ll find more action. The only downside is the roads leading to the house are basically dirt roads and it’s a 15-30 min drive to get to most anything. Lovely stay!!!

The house is very nice. Ten people can use it comfortably. It has a terrace with a very nice private pool. The clubhouse is fantastic, and communication with Mary was excellent. She was always attentive and proactive. We hope to return soon.

It was my first time at Hacienda Pinilla, and I really liked it. The property is very comfortable, private and quiet. Everything is spotless, and Mary is very friendly and available for anything you need. I would definitely go back.

Mary and her husband were probably the best Airbnb hosts my husband and I have ever experienced, and we’ve traveled and used Airbnb a decent amount. Mary was super responsive. The property itself was immaculate. She made the entire experience a breeze. Mary personally welcomed our family upon arrival, and she even brought Costa Rican ice cream for our kids to have. Without a doubt we will be back!

Mary’s place is an absolute gem! It’s just as beautiful as the pictures! We had an incredible week with the entire family. The check-in process was smooth, and the location is simply fantastic. Our host, Mary, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. We highly recommend this house and will definitely be returning to this wonderful place. One of the standout features of this property is the complimentary access to the beach club. It’s a must-have when staying here, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The patio is gorgeous! It’s perfect for our furry friends. Our little dogs had the time of their lives getting sunbaths in the beautifully well-maintained grass. Overall, we had an amazing time and would give this house and Mary a perfect score of 10 out of 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fully recommended if you want to have a peaceful stay. Great house, great location, close to the golf course and different beaches, great hosts!! I would pick this place without any doubts everytime!

Mary’s place in Pinilla south of Tamarindo is beautiful! It is about 20 minutes south of Tamarindo in a quite upscale development. We had access to the beach club that included a beautiful pool and exercise room on the beach. There is also access to two beaches within/near the development. Playa Longosta and Playa Avellanas. The house was very clean and welcoming. The development is large and takes about 15 minutes to get to the main road, however there are many excellent beach restaurants near avellanas beach that were only a 10 minute drive that we enjoyed and the prices are less expensive than Tamarindo. Mary was a lovely hostess. She lives on the same street and gave us many suggestions for restaurants, grocery shopping and beaches. She was helpful without being intrusive. We would definitely stay here again!
