Ana’s home was truly the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we booked, Ana was an incredible host! She’s super responsive, helpful, and thoughtful every step of the way. She made everything easy and made us feel so welcome. The house itself exceeded all of our expectations. It was even better than the photos and had absolutely everything we could need to be comfortable as a family of four. It was spacious, beautiful, spotless, and perfectly set up for a relaxing stay and close to everything Tamarindo has to offer. What made the experience truly exceptional was the breakfast and housekeeping service. Every morning we were treated to delicious food, and her warm, kind personality made such a difference in our trip. Our kids absolutely adored her, and she quickly became one of their favorite parts of the vacation. This stay was special in every way, and we can’t wait to come back to Villa Metisse.

Villa Metisse is incredible! Ana has thought of all the little touches that make it a fabulous holiday villa, the pool inflatables, yoga mat, beach and pool towels as well as beach toys and chairs. The stand out for Villa Metisse is Maricella, her breakfasts are legendary and she goes out of the way to help in anyway she can. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return again in the future. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us

We loved Ana’s place. She was so responsive and the place was perfect for our group. She had snacks and waters ready for us and was extremely accommodating and had great suggestions on things to do around Tamarindo. The access to the private beach club was also a nice perk as was her housekeeper who went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. She also made amazing breakfast every morning. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Ana’s place and if we find ourselves back in Tamarindo area i would 100% book it again

This is our third time back to the villa and we absolutely loved it. The home is beautiful and clean and very private. The housekeeping done by Mary and help with Laundry as a mother is absolutely amazing. The breakfasts are delicious and we cannot wait to come back again next year!

Wonderful stay in paradise! We loved this Airbnb. Clean, stylish, well stocked. Charming outdoor space and Maricella was amazing! We loved our breakfast each morning and having house keeper services each day was such a treat. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Our stay at Villa Metisse was amazing! First and foremost, Mari went above and beyond to make our stay incredible - she was so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The house had everything we needed and more - from beach bags to sand toys, yoga mats and board games - Ana has really thought of everything to make it a place for the whole family to enjoy. Bunk beds, the pack n play and high chair made the week seamless for our family. The location was great and access to the Beach Club was a real value add. The outdoor space is beautiful, providing the perfect shade to stay comfortable in the afternoon heat. Highly recommend and hope we can visit again!!

Wonderful stay at Villa Metisse in Tamarindo. The home was beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located—easy to reach the beach and town while still feeling like a private oasis. Communication with Ana and the team was 10/10: fast, clear, and helpful from arrival instructions through the week. The highlight was Mari. She was far more than a housekeeper; she became the heart of our trip. Every morning she prepared amazing breakfasts our whole family loved (4 adults and 5 kids!), always fresh and made with care. The kids adored her and she made us feel instantly welcomed and comfortable. Because of Mari’s warmth and the excellent location, this stay was truly memorable. We would absolutely return and highly recommend Villa Metisse, especially for families visiting Tamarindo. Everything felt safe, clean, and thoughtfully maintained, and the self check-in was seamless after a long travel day. We stayed at Ana's place as a family of 8 for 2 days and every single one of us -from teens to adults - absolutely loved it ! the home was beautifully maintained and incredibly thoughtful in every detail. Ample seating for everyone, never ending towels , sunscreen, beach totes , umbrellas , the list is endless ! being so close to the beach made evening sunset walks an unforgettable highlight of our stay. A special shoutout to Mari, the house help, she was extremely polite, welcoming and made us feel right at home. Her delicious, feshly cooked breakfast along with her warm personality added a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Metisse - this is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. First, the house is just beautiful. It was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the back deck/pool and back yard space very much. It was so nice it was hard to leave! The location is great - tucked into a private neighborhood with easy access to beaches and town. Ana was an exceptional host - she sent information in advance and provided great recommendations. When we had questions during our stay she responded promptly. Very professional and friendly! Our favorite thing about the house was our housekeeper Mari. She cooked us delicious meals every morning and kept the house spotless. We enjoyed visiting with her and learning about Costa Rica. She made our trip so much more enjoyable! I highly recommend Villa Metisse and would happily stay here again!

We stayed at Villa Matisse for my Bachelorette, and it was the best pick we could have made! The house was beautiful and the pool was amazing! We loved the town and everything there was to do around us. The recommendations made by Ana were all amazing and she helped when we needed some extra communication with tours. Our housekeeper each morning was very nice and an outstanding help to our trip! We loved our stay!!!

the house was stunning and having Marcella there was the icing on the cake! in addition of making an amazing bfast she was helpful with tips on what to do and the daily laundry was a special surprise. Such a sweetie!!!

A group of eight of us (two families with kids) stayed at Ana's house in April. The four bedroom layout with shared kitchen & living room worked out well for our group. April is one of the hottest months in Costa Rica so we were very happy to find that all of the bedroom ACs and living room AC were adjustable and worked well to keep us cool. Although the true highlight of our stay was Mari! She made us feel so welcome and well cared for, she is very kind. Every morning she would make us a delicious breakfast (which you choose from a menu Ana sends ahead of time) and it would always be served on time. Mari also keeps the house in great shape with daily housekeeping (or as desired). We also enjoyed the private pool and surrounding lounge areas. It was fun to go outside in the morning to see a green parrot/parakeet(?) family that lives in the tree on property. We also saw daily lizards sunning themselves in the yard but they kept their distance. Overall a great spot to call home.

Villa Matisse was perfect! We loved the decor, perfectly stocked kitchen, beautiful bathrooms, 2 master suites, gorgeous back yard and our angel housekeeper / morning chef Maricela was icing on the cake! Thank you for a beautiful stay. We loved every minute.
