We had such a wonderful stay. Peaceful surroundings hearing nothing but birds is really healing for the soul. We had a Tuscan that liked to come visit and feed on the banana peels we left out for him, my whole family just loved it. We will definitely be staying here again.

Jose’s home is beautifully built and has everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. The place is very clean. Beds are comfortable. Large bathtub is clean and provides such a relaxing soak. Sip coffee grown right on the property while watching a variety of bird species on the covered patio. It is very close to a bird sanctuary. Jose is a very kind and attentive host. We look forward to staying in his home again.

José Luis was an excellent host and the accommodation is as advertised. Lovely home, very clean and comfortable, nice high-quality touches. We would definitely stay again! One thought is to add air conditioning in the bedroom (very hot week in the area). Muchos gracias José Luis!

Jose Luis was the perfect host !! his place is beautiful and in a quiet setting. it's only 20 minutes to town where you will find anything that you might want. we absolutely loved Jose's place, and he and his wife Key are lovely people!! we would up sharing a meal with them and talked for hours !! he has orange banana avocado pineapple, and best of all is the coffee he grows and provides to his guests!! if you're in the area and are looking for a place to stay ? do yourself a favor and stay with José !! he has a beautiful home and property ❤️

Jose’s place was so peaceful, quiet, clean and comfortable. He was very kind and helpful. We appreciated the estate grown coffee. One of the nicest places we have stayed in Costa Rica!

Jose is very friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable in his house. There is a lovely kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. The patio area is very peaceful. My favorite is the amazing bathtub. I have stayed here a few times to have a quiet work retreat and will definitely keep coming back!

Casa Cielo Grande is a wonderful place to stay. It was super clean, and had many things for cooking in the kitchen, as well as a blender. The back deck with the rocking chairs, as well as the raised "treehouse" deck in the back of the house made for beautiful outdoor space to enjoy the sunsets and beautiful sights and sounds of Costa Rica. Jose was extremely helpful and friendly, and brought us many goodies from his land such as bananas and yucca. Any time we needed something, he was quick to come and help us.

This is a lovely house and the location and the location. Our family of three had a very relaxing time. The house is well equipped and comfortable. We also saw a number of beautiful birds in the house and as I walked the nearby path. We were also able to attend a beautiful church nearby. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Superb place! The Sky is a dream, a fantastic and spacious construction set in an active coffee plantation, nestled in the beautiful foothills with views across the mountains of Chirripó national park. Jose Luis is an excellent host, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommended.

Wow!!! What a fantastic place to stay at. Amazing views on a pristine coffee plantation. The owner is a pure gentleman. Great communication, and just plain helpful all the time. I would stay here again for sure.

We loved our stay in this house such a relaxing beautiful breathtaking view we enjoyed the coffee on the balcony day and night Jose Luis is very attentive and wonderful we will definitely return :)

Our stay was really wonderful! The house is luxurious, spacious and has a very nice atmosphere . The view over the trees and the mountains is amazing! Jose Luis was very helpful and friendly. We could walk all over his nice property and also get to know his family. Thank you!

The Sky is simply a great place to stay. You have to stay here to experience the serenity of the grounds and the quite of the area. It is a tranquil place to stay at. The host is very welcoming and generous with his time and whatever information you need.
