We spent three very nice days in Nosara. The casita is cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail, we didn't miss anything. Christy and Ivan are great hosts and provided us with great restaurant recommendations and tips for going out. We fully recommend the place and would come back any time.

The best host that we ever had. Everything was perfect to the last detail. They are great people, very friendly, respectful and excellent in general. The casita was super clean, a lot of space, with everything that you could need. Perfect location, 5 minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes walk from very good restaurants in the zone. We loved the place.

This property is great! Very clean and quiet, the bed is really comfortable and looks better than the pictures. Ivan and Christy are both so nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again! Also very safe!

Good design with vaulted ceilings, creating a spacious feel. The studio looks great, and it’s relatively close to the beach. There’s a huge king-size bed, adding to the comfort of the stay. The owners are nice, making the experience even better.

Many thanks to Christy and Ivan for a lovely stay! We could tell how much work they put into the casita to have everything that guests need. Everything was super clean and well taken care of, and the place was well-stocked with helpful items like yoga mats, tupperware, and a blender. Close to town, comfortable bed, two big overhead fans and A/C, a beautiful pool to relax in— we couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our week in Nosara. Highly recommend!

This property provides a great quality and quiet getaway for individuals and couples. The casita is quaint and modern and provides all the essentials for your stay. Even though it's a shared property with the main house, it feels private as the gorgeous jungle landscaping surrounds you. The host is responsive, friendly, and available to help with any questions regarding the local area. I would stay here again and highly recommend this property to future guests.

I agree with other reviews that the place is definitely better than the photos. Everything was great - very comfortable bed, gated and very safe, great wifi, kind hosts/easy communication, extremely clean and great location in Playa Pelada. The casita is on the hosts property (it is just you and them there) but I barely saw them and the casita felt very private. A couple things to note: - this is a developing area so there is a fair bit of construction during the day right now (obviously this will lessen over time), - the road in from the highway was pretty bad in some spots so definitely recommend a capable vehicle to get here, - there was a bit of a bad smell coming from the bathroom after heavy rain but I was able to alleviate this with an open window, - the pool is right in front of the hosts home, for anyone who is a bit more shy - that said, Ivan & Christy are very easygoing and have a privacy curtain for if you wish to spend extended time there I hope to return!

We had an exceptional stay at Christy and Ivan's casita. The location is perfectly located for walking to Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones, offering an authentic experience of the area. The casita itself was thoughtfully designed by Christy and Ivan, providing all the comforts for a good stay. Their hospitality and flexibility made our stay even more enjoyable. The interaction with Ivan was quick and efficient, and we encountered no problems during our stay. Access to the pool was an amazing advantage. Ivan and Christy’s place was amazing. The space was everything we needed and more and exceeded our expectations. It has everything you’d want— from yoga mats to kitchen equipment. Ivan and Christy (and their dogs!) were super friendly and helpful, would 100% stay again.

Lovely, pristine accommodation away from the busyness of Playa Guiones/central Nosara, which is about a 30-minute walk and a shorter (5 mins) walk to peaceful Playa Pelada. Ivan and Christy were wonderful hosts. Highly recommend!

Ivan and Christy’s place is wonderful! As others have said, their casita is so much nicer that the photos show. You can tell lots of thoughtful planning and love went into their home and casita. Ivan was great at communication and provided helpful tips. We loved playa Pelada and it is a quick walk to playa Guionnes via beach and short trail. We highly recommend Ivan and Christy’s casita!

Casita de amigos is a gem! Such a wonderful stay for a week here for me and my wife. Ivan and Christy and their two dogs are lovely. Hosts were incredibly friendly and caring while not being overbearing. We were able to use their pool every day which was great when getting back from a day out in the heat. The casita is incredibly well equipped and has everything you need, including for cooking, and the bed is super comfy. It is private and not terribly close to other spots, you can walk to the beach in 10-15 min and can walk to a few restaurants, but we found it very helpful to rent bikes for the week so we could travel more easily to playa guiones where there are more shops and restaurants. We had an absolutely incredible stay here, thank you Ivan and Christy!!

Ivan and Cristy made me feel like at home the moment I arrived. Pictures don’t justify how amazing and well-thought-through Ivan and Christy’s casita is. Very spacious, great airflow, fully functional kitchen, fast and reliable wifi (even during brief power outages, there is a system in place to keep it alive). Outdoor shower and hangers are super handy after surfing. Very quiet area, walking distance to Playa Pelada, near by coffee shops and restaurants. If planning on driving, check with Ivan on road conditions. I got 4WD and it was the right call. The road gets pretty bumpy in certain areas. Definitely my go to place when in Nosara area. Pura Vida!

Nice place, the house is new practically and has nice finishes, very tidy and clean. Ivan is very friendly. The house has everything you need for cooking, which was very helpful. Very clean and nice bathroom. strategic location, close to the peeled beach (a 10 min walk) and additional dashes. pool good for quick refreshing

I booked Casa de Amigos for my parents whilst they were visiting Nosara and they absolutely loved their stay there. The place was well located for local restaurants, walking distance to the beach, spacious and clean. Ivan and Christy made them feel very welcomed and at home. They found it to be a beautiful oasis and would love to return without hesitation.

Ivan and his wife are excellent hosts, friendly and available to attend to inquiries. The stay is at an excellent point to move to different areas. It is a place of easy access, super safe, clean, tidy, with many amenities, beautiful and quiet. My trip was alone and I always felt totally safe. With alarm system included. I highly recommend it, I would definitely stay again Plus the effort they put into having a place that takes care of the atmosphere: orchard, composting, bio gardener for garden plant irrigation, separation of waste, solar panels! Definitely a great place!

It was absolutely a pleasure to meet Ivan and Christy. They are superb and caring hosts and went above and beyond to create a very smooth and memorable stay for us. Ivan is very knowledgeable and gave us tons of suggestions on roads, restaurants, and things to do. Casa de Amigos is a beautiful place and photos don’t do justice to it! It was so peaceful with birds sounds and hummingbird visits that we didn’t want to leave. The location is within the walking distance to an amazing beach where we ran alongside it every day. We definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to go back! Thank you Ivan and Christy for everything!

Enjoyed my stay. Quiet location within walking distance of the beach, a few restaurants, small grocery store, etc., even Playa Guiones via a walking path. Hosts Ivan and Christy were great, and very helpful!

We had a nice and quiet stay, the house is like new, very well detailed, we had everything we needed and more. The full equipped bathroom and kitchen were thought of everything!!!!! Super safe and the hosts are very attentive. We will definitely repeat.

Beautiful casita! Very clean and modern. We really appreciated the secure parking and the kitchenette. The AC, hot water, comfy bed, and use of the relaxing pool area were also fabulous. Highly recommend!

Awesome place! From start, I really liked Ivan’s communication, easy check-in process, flexibility and clear instructions. - The Casita is pretty nice, great design, looks fresh and brand new, nice furniture! King size bed is great. - A/C was awesome, no issues at all. - It has everything you need to cook a meal like plates, utensils, etc. Modern and clean appliances which is always good. - Bathroom was really nice, super clean, good quality towels were provided and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower was a nice touch. - Great pool and outdoor space to enjoy a book or a drink! - Parking spot inside the premises - Quick drive to Playa Pelada (<5 min) and also close to Guiones (5-10min drive). This place is a gem! And a steal for the price. So close to the most beautiful beaches. We saw a tree full of monkeys on our walk back from the beach. New, modern, clean, equipped with everything we needed. The host were so helpful with recommendations and even going above and beyond.

We had an amazing stay at Ivan’s. Playa pleads is a beautiful beach and their home is beautiful, clean, and safe.

This place is head and shoulder above the like and similar in the area and for the budget the details included make any stay super convenient. And the pics don’t do the place justice. It’s massive! It’s truly just turn up with you board shorts and board the rest is provided. There’s tea and coffee in the unit and not just the left overs from past guests. Plenty of proper soap, shampoo and conditioner. Towels included of course but beach towels too! Of course I wouldn’t use them and ruin them but the offer is just a right touch.

This place is by far the best AirBnb I have stayed in. Upon check-in Ivan was extremely gracious and really helped us to get settled and acquainted us with the area. Throughout the stay he was extremely accommodating and responsive. Also, the place was unbelievably clean! Spotless. It had everything we needed if we wanted to cook and it was beyond comfortable. It's also really nice because it's gated so it felt really safe. It actually looks bigger in person than in the photos. You are lucky if you get to call this place home on your trip to Costa Rica!

I stayed 4 nights at Casa De Amigos while doing a workshop/retreat. I think the casita is more stunning in person than the photos. It feels fresh and new. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the street is quiet. I slept well here. The fans and AC kept the temp perfect. Ivan and Christy let me know they were there if I needed help or anything and gave great recommendations.

Ivan and his wife are both very kind, accommodating and good company. His casita is perfect for one or two people super close to Playa Pelada and a quick golf cart away from Nosara. I had everything I needed with plenty of room to spread out. I highly recommend staying with them!

Excellent place

We had a great 3 week stay with Ivan & Christy. They are gracious and helpful hosts - we would book their place again! The casita felt spacious for a studio and worked well for the two of us. It’s thoughtfully designed and fully equipped (cooking equipment, couch, table, bathroom supplies, beach towels, etc.). Great AC - kept the inside very cool. The WiFi worked well overall for video calls, with only a few minor interruptions. No washer dryer in unit but Ivan/Christy generously offered the use of theirs. We enjoyed the outdoor seating, shower, and swam in the shared pool. From a safety standpoint, it was nice to have the gate, be able park our atv inside, and set a house alarm. I recommend having some form of transportation, as most stores are in Playa Guiones (30-40 min walk). Playa Pelada is a quick (10-15 min) walk with a few options. One thing to note is that there is significant construction all over Nosara, including near the casita. That said, this was not overly loud or disturbing for us but it did generate regular noise. All in all, a great stay with great hosts!

Ivan and Christy's place was great. The place is very new, clean and spacious (much larger than the photos). The kitchen has all the amenities you need as well. Ivan was very communicative and I had no issues during my stay! I highly recommend Christy and Ivan's place to anyone traveling in Nosara!

This is the perfect little spot in Pelada! This is the first king bed we’ve ever had staying at an Airbnb in Costa Rica and it felt so luxurious! We slept incredibly well. The casita is exceptionally well made and stocked. Everything you need to cook meals, a perfect closet space, beautiful bathroom and a good space to eat and work. Ivan and Christy were so kind and we loved their dogs as well! Would definitely recommend a car, ATV, etc for this location. You can walk to the beach and to il Pepperoni, La Luna and Bar Olga but otherwise you’d be best off with a mode of transportation. Highly recommended!

Loved my stay at Casa de Amigos. Christy and Ivan were so welcoming to me when I arrived. The casita was clean and stocked with all the essentials. The bed was comfy and the A/C worked great. It’s also walking distance to playa pelada and a few restaurants (La Luna, Olg’s, Pepperoni and Tonito’s). Definitely a good spot for a nice quiet and relaxing stay in Nosara.

This casita is brand new and it feels it - clean, spacious, well air conditioned. The internet is also lightning fast and I was able to do all my work from there (including zoom calls) without any interruption. You won’t regret selecting this space to stay in!

The place is truly a piece of paradise. Feel very fortunate to have spent a few days at Casa de Amigos. The guesthouse is good size, brand new and full of nice amenities. The property has easy access to Playa Pelada. A longer walk on a cut through beach trail will get you to Nosara / Guiones Beach or a quick ride via a Tuk Tuk. Solid internet, quite pool and very well secured. Hope to be back sometime soon. Thanks again Christy and Ivan! 🤟

The place is better than photos suggest - very new, modern , clean and comfortable. Very big and comfortable bed. Walkable to beaches. A few restaurants also walkable. Very helpful and responsive hosts.

This quiet gated location came with all the amenities required for our travel. This air Bnb was the best place we stayed at during our 3 weeks of travel in Costa Rica. We highly recommend it!!!
