Very nice home with beautiful ocean views! Lots of space and well appointed. Only a few steps out the backyard and you’re on a quiet beach. Potrero is a great little town, also very close to Flamingo so there is lots to do and great restaurants. Loved our stay!

Had an absolutely wonderful time at this incredible space! The best appointed air bnb I have stayed at it has everything you could ever need. So much room, spectacular views, close to gorgeous beaches and restaurants. I was here with my husband and two adult sons and we enjoyed having a car to explore the area. Agnes the concierge is fantastic from greeting you are the door to ensuring that everything runs smoothly we truly appreciated her assistance. When we locked ourselves out of the safe at the 11th hour (needed our passports etc) she came within 15 minutes to save the day.

Great place that was clean and convenient to a few bars restaurants and a grocery store. View was perfect. The AC in bedrooms was perfect and much needed after the cross breeze in the open living space. Perfect place for a vacation.

Agnes meet us at the house and is so kind. She explained everything we needed to know. The place is amazing. Beautiful view and everything you would ever need. Walkable to lots of places to eat, and step right out your door for a swim, boggie board of walks on the beach. I would highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

Kathleen's place was wonderful! Loved the location right on the beach, and it looked exactly as described. Kathleen and the property manager were very proactively communicative, and the home was clean and spacious. Would love to come back!

This place!! It was ‘wow’ - the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the kitchen, the balconies, the VIEW!!! Everything was exactly as it was in the photos. Loved being a few metres from the beach…so handy to just be able to pop back for a drink or to pick something up. Agnes (the property manager) was really helpful. If there were any questions or issues she went out of her way to help us. Kathleen and Bill were fab hosts; before we arrived, they messaged with a list of places to eat and things to do. They also checked in with us after we arrived to make sure we were all good. Personal recommendations of mine - go up the coast a bit to Playa Penca for a slightly different beach experience, enjoy a pina colada at Las Brisas and go eat at Soda Maria Teresa - the chifrijo was delicious! My family and I loved staying at Castaway, we only spent a few days there but we left feeling so relaxed and so happy. Pura Vida!

We had a great stay and would stay again. The place was very spacious, modern and in great shape. Everything you need is provided as well as some gear to enjoy the beach and ocean. The hosts and property manager are very responsive and ensured we were well looked after. Finally the location is close to many activities and restaurants you can easily walk to.

Fantastic luxury beachfront oasis! This place is perfection and Agnes (property manager) was so helpful and accommodating. From sunset on the terraces to strolling the pristine beach to cooking in the well equipped kitchen, this house is truly a home. And be sure to try the fare at Gritanga and a beer at Potrero Brewery - a short walk. Note - if you crave luxury, check out Playa Flamingo which is adjacent to Playa Potrero. We much preferred the laid back vibe of Playa Potrero but just know that a high end experience can be had if that’s your jam.

Kathleen’s place is really beautiful. The views from the decks are amazing. The kitchen was great. Everything you needed. New shiny appliances. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well in the bedrooms and the main floor was the perfect temp with the ocean breezes. Great showers with plenty of hot water. We loved being right on the beach. It is a big place where we were all able to find our own place to be. The beach is lovely, good waves for boogie boarding and jumping waves. There are kayaks to use which is nice as well. Great restaurants on the beach that you can walk to on the beach. We went to the Beach House and it was delicious! I highly recommend Kathleen’s place!

Spectacular house backing onto the beach - loved it. Walked along the beach in each direction to different restaurants at night, lounged on the patio or balconies watching the world go by during the day, or alternatively we used the kayaks and boogie boards to play in the sea. Had a great time - felt like royalty in the primary bedroom!!

Great beach vacation home for adults. House was clean and spacious. plenty of supplies -soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, cooler. Property manager was very responsive, friendly and helpful. If you're cooking your own food, perhaps a few mixing bowls would be helpful. Bring beach shoes as the dry sand gets really hot during the day. Once you're in wet sand, it's all good. Quiet, relaxing beach vacation. Thank you!
