We stayed in the ground-floor unit for three nights, and while the location is excellent, our overall experience was unfortunately quite uncomfortable. The main issue was pests and the condition of the space. There were ants in the bed, including on the pillows and headboard, which made it very difficult to rest. Additionally, we encountered cockroaches and small lizards entering the room, likely due to an unscreened window in the adjoining bathroom. The bathroom also lacked ventilation, leaving it consistently damp. Another challenge was mosquitoes—despite keeping the bathroom door closed, we were bitten throughout the night and did not get much sleep during our stay. That said, we want to highlight that Joanna, the cleaning staff member, was kind and attentive, and the security staff was also very helpful and pleasant. With some improvements—particularly better sealing of the rooms, pest control, and ventilation, this property could be much more comfortable.

Great stay. Communication with the host was easy. A security guard (Richard) was present in the evening. Joanna, the person in charge of maintenance, was very kind, proactive, and knowledgeable. It was a perfect place to stay for the price, right in the heart of a beautiful city. We recommend it.

Very nice location. It says parking available but there’s only a few spots for the entire building. We had to park one night in the street. Quiet, good ac, super close to beach, security guard from 6pm to 6am.

Cristian was an amazing host made us feel so welcome, was really informative and friendly! He gave us plenty of suggestions. There is a cleaning lady that comes everyday she’s also extremely lovely. Great location across the road from the beach and plenty of food spots around if you’re a foodie you’ll enjoy 😊 Would definitely come back hope to see you soon!

Truly a home away from home. If you Hobro Santa Teresa, this is where you want to stay. We loved it there and were sad to leave. Lovely room with a huge bed and a great outdoor living area. The pool was nice and clean and the staff was helpful and really cared about us having a good time there - a real oasis away from the loud and dusty road. We were disappointed in Santa Teresa the town. BUT the beach is amazing and if you surf that’s enough reason to go. There’s beach access right across the street and everything is walkable. Visit the local Sodas for good, fresh, local food and spend a day at Manzu as a treat to yourself - it is owned by Costa Ricans, which is quite rare in Santa Teresa.

We loved staying here. The location couldn't be better, the pool and garden are very enjoyable and Cristian and Joana are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

My experience at this airbnb was really great. Easy to communicate, fast answer. The whole place was 10/10. Everything is close too so it was easy to get around. Would recommend it :)
