Emilia's place was great, and Erika's help in checking in/out and managing out stay was excellent. The place was definitely worth it and the communication was great. the place was comfortable and the garden was gorgeous. It was nice to have pet around and they would come and say hi while my wife and I worked. Thanks for everything.

A very nice place, a lot of privacy, friendly staff, comfort, safety, delicious weather, Emilia's arrival and received, she had tea, fruits and the refrigerator prepared with ice and cold water, all excellent.

Emilia is a great host and after getting to know her you will find that she is genuinely a wonderful person inside and out. She’s always responsive and easy to communicate with. Emilia is also a very talented jeweler and her collection is a must see. I bought a couple of pieces from her myself and would like to buy more from her online store. Very affordable and unique design with materials that she buys from around the world. Most of all, the Airbnb location is a plus for travelers that like good restaurants and markets nearby. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to enjoy peace and tranquility.

Great place to stay! A whole small house on site with hosts but with its own private property! There are calibers, butterflies, and all around very beautiful right on the property. The apartment is equipped with all necessities. Very cozy, light and spacious!

My third time staying at Emilias and hopefully not the last! Emilia is a very special host and a pleasure to stay with. The apartment is beautiful in a lovely garden, and the location is in a great spot in Escazu, a short walk or bus trip from local shops and restaurants. Uber is also very active in the area. Looking forward to returning :)

My stay with Emilia was sensational. A private, comfortable, quiet place with everything you need to rest and work without a problem. In addition, Emilia gave us fruit and arepas as a welcome breakfast. She kept an eye out for my arrival, and she shared a guidebook with good local recommendations. I think the location is ideal, just a few minutes by Uber from Escazú. Instead, the place was very clean and clean. And as an extra, the company of their puppies was very nice, but if you are not a pet person, they are very polite and respect your space. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect sanctuary in the middle of Escazu; quiet and surrounded by nature, while being centrally located to shops and restaurants. It was easy to find and Emilia was warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. The space was well-appointed, comfortable, and clean. There is a nice garden off the front porch that was nice to enjoy in the morning sun. I would definitely stay again should I be in the area.

I had a great stay at Emilia's place. She welcomed me with flowers, the place was more beautiful than the pictures. She left for me in the apartment tortillas with queso, some fruit and even some homemade pineapple juice. I had a great time staying there, it was very peaceful and quiet. I love her dogs, they are super friendly and I like how they walk around the whole property, makes me feel extra safe in an already súper safe neighborhood. It is so close to the center of Escazú, very convenient. Also at any moment that I needed anything I would text her and she would reply very fast. My family visited me a few times and they loved her place. Very well equiped kitchen, great place and also for a great price 🙌🏼 Now on my list to stay again

We had a wonderful two months staying at Emilia's garden flat. We felt at home from the minute we arrived! Emilia took us around the neighborhood and showed us where to shop, restaurants, cafes, etc. Throughout our stay she was super helpful and always available to answer questions and make recommendations. Juanita, Daniel, Rolando and Dixon were also so kind, friendly and helpful during our stay. We loved that we could walk to Escazu Centro and the market on Saturdays. Location is great and easy to get to other parts of Escazu, Santa Ana, San Antonio and downtown. We also traveled from Emilia's place to lots of other parts of Costa Rica by car on weekends. Thank you so much Emilia for opening your home to guests from around the world!

We had a problem with the hot water in the shower and drainage and it was resolved right away. Great house and gardens and so close to Escazu. Emilia and her team are wonderful. We would stay there again.

Emilia’s place was perfect for us. She was friendly as were her helpers (Erica and Juanita). Very peaceful place, large tropical garden and beautiful artwork in our casita. This is a special place.

Enjoyed the stay

I absolutely loved my stay here. The ground was so peaceful. The owner did an incredible job maintaining a very beautiful garden. The home itself was very spacious. I was very impressed. Emilia was very supportive and helpful. I would definitely return.

Emilia is a fantastic host! I felt very welcome. The home is spacious and comfortable. Emilia is fluent in English which was helpful. Emilia provided me with a welcome letter that was full of gems for the first timer such as myself. The property feels very secure and her garden is beautiful. There are so many nice restaurants and cafe’s nearby. Instead of renting a car, I used Uber. I never waited more than a few moments for a car. If you’re needing a comfortable Airbnb for your stay, I’m sure you’ll be pleased. I plan on staying here again when I return to Escazu.

A great place to stay if you're going to San Jose. The house is located in one of the best areas, without being away from the center. Nearby, you'll find shops, restaurants, bars, and everything you might need. The gardens of the property are huge and beautifully manicured. But the most valuable thing about the property is, it is definitely Emilia ... she is a charm and her attention makes your stay more than pleasant. I will definitely stay here as long as I return to Costa Rica.

I was thrilled by Emilia’s hospitality and her doggies, too. My staying at her place was quite an experience which definitely I will repeat and recommend to my friends and family. Downtown was a walk in the park easy access to every place I went. (I mean easy and fast) Also a very safe location. I will give Emilia’s little peace of haven the highest and beyond approval. Emilia’s apartment is amazing, it’s located in a beautiful compound, surrounded by natural. The apartment is lovely, modern with everything you need. The garden is amazing, great for bird and butterfly watching. Emilia is a such a welcoming host, made me feel at home and is easy to contact if you need anything, and her three dogs are lovely too. Will definitely visit again when I’m back in San Jose!

Peaceful & quiet space but close to shops

Emilia's place is in a beautiful garden in a really lovely part of Escazú. She is a very welcoming host and there is a great atmosphere about the place. A short walk from the centre of Escazú where we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with our children and discovered some good food. The children loved meeting her dogs who would sometimes come to visit us! We'd definitely recommend a stay here.

Emilia's chalet was wonderful...great location, lots of light and space...and our daughters enjoyed playing in the nice green outside space and with Emilia's dogs. Everything was as beautiful as the pictures! We were lucky to be able to stay there for a week. :-)

Blew me away,Honestly, Emilia’s home surpassed all of my expectations. Not only was Emilia incredible with recommendations and even showing me the local spots, she went out of her way and brought me to the local spot Cocina eclectica. The place itself was spotless and had all the kitchen stuff I needed to cook a meal with loads of natural light and opening up the the doors to hear the beautiful rain season. The 3 dogs on the property were so loving and this place truly made me feel like I had a home in San Jose ! I cannot wait to return. I’ll miss waking up to the Costa Rica sun and showering with natural light while my laundry dries on the clothesline outside.

The house is very cozy and cozy, and the environment is also very quiet. There are many mosquitoes. I can't see my son's leg bite.Since there are several large trees in the yard, it is understandable that there are many mosquitoes.

Emilia's cottage is a wonderful place to stay in the city: tucked away in a little green oasis and still within walking distance to supermarkets & restaurants. We felt very safe, also thanks to the three lovely dogs. Emilia is a great host; very helpful and always up for a chat. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Emilia Is a wonderful hostess. She greeted us personally and the space could not have been more comfortable. It’s right in the middle of Escazu and was within walking distance of many restaurants and cafés. This casita met our needs perfectly for this trip. Thank you!
