Michael’s place is an absolute delight. I would recommend it to anyone. Not only is it in a super fun and beautiful city (Manuel Antonio) in one of the most beautiful and happiest countries in the world, but it also has a lovely private balcony and a pool — both of which have terrific ocean views. It is clean and comfortable. Cuter even than the pictures! Not only that, but you are surrounded by nature while there, and not in an annoying way. We saw tucans, monkeys, etc.

If you are looking for a place to stay that is basically situated like the majority of hotels, this is it. It’s situated about halfway down a slope between the main road and the ocean. You cannot directly walk to the ocean and the walk up the hill is not a joke. Be sure that you can walk steep steps, unassisted, unless you have a 4x4 and are willing to drive up and down the hill. We had one, so it could make it up and down, but we basically kept the car at the top. The place itself is great. The best place to sit is the top deck and just listen to the birds and ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed doing that and also using the pool, which was super clean. The place is a twin but the neighbor was quiet and very nice. Inside, there is a nice kitchenette that had everything that we need to make ourselves a nice breakfast. The place is very convenient to the main restaurants and the national park. We mostly went to the beach at the national park so I can’t comment on getting to Biesanz beach.

Michael was super accomodating. He set up our drive to and from the airport and helped us with our luggage both ways. Went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and helped us with recommendation in terms of stuff to do and eat. The property was amazing. Cooling off in the pool each day and felt like you were in the middle of the jungle. Would 10/10 recommend this place and we will be back. Thanks for making this the vacation of our dreams ❤️ pura vida

Beautiful place right in the heart of MA. Comfortable apartment with gorgeous view from both and top deck and infinity pool. Quiet and peaceful. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful!

We had a wonderful stay here on our first trip to Costa Rica. The hosts are so friendly and attentive to detail, making everything incredibly seamless from our arrival to departure. They were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and coordinating activities, which made it easy to make the most of our time. After full days of exploring, coming back to relax in the pool was one of the most special and serene parts of our trip. We would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

This place was amazing. Perfectly located to beaches and restaraunts. if walking isn't your thing, no problem. For a dollar you can ride the bus to Quepos and or Manuel Antonio. This place was perfect. Even more perfect are Michael and Michael. They were so helpful and accommodating. They helped arrange excursions and recommended great places to eat and things to do. They are such great host and we highly recommend staying at their place. The steep hill helps burn off some of the calories from the wonderful meals you will eat the night before. Well worth it.

One of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in! The views were amazing and we saw so many different animals from our balcony and the pool. I would highly recommend this Airbnb if your staying in Manuel Antonio, it is so close to all of the restaurants and activities. The room is spotless and and the pool was perfect

Great host. Beautiful location. It is walkable to many great restaurants and a grocery store. The view is peaceful and the pool a nice place to relax right outside your door. Easy access to the bus to the park and a walk or short drive to the beach. The driveway is steep and the sidewalks to get to places are more like a path so it isn’t a place for people with mobility issues. Cafe Milagro was amazing for somewhere to eat.

We loved Michael's place in Manuel Antonio! The unit was very clean and well equipped - while we didn't use it much, we really appreciate the full-size refrigerator, stove, and oven, not always common to find in Airbnb units. The view from the private deck and the pool area is stunning, especially at sunset - no need to fight for sunset reservations at any of the local restaurants when you can see it from where you're staying! We enjoyed meeting the guests from the adjoining unit at the pool on our first night, and got some great recommendations from them. Michael is a great host, and was extremely proactive in reaching out and providing tons of details and recommendations for the area as well as being available during our stay for assistance. Potential guests should be aware that the driveway/walk from the unit up to the main road, which is necessary to go anywhere (including via taxi/bus), is quite steep and could be challenging for older or less able individuals.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Vista Eden. The Airbnb was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view was truly spectacular — we even saw toucans right from our balcony, which was unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, surprising us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. The location couldn’t be better: right on the street with all the restaurants and perfectly situated between the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park. We honestly wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Manuel Antonio. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Vista Eden! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how special this place is. The views are incredible, the unit is cozy and comfortable, and it truly has everything you need for an unforgettable stay in Manuel Antonio. Michael and Michael are hands down some of the most gracious, friendly, and thoughtful hosts we’ve ever had. They went above and beyond to help us navigate the area—setting up tours for us and even arranging a massage right on the balcony (highly recommend!). Their local knowledge made the trip seamless and so memorable. Trip highlights included Emilio’s Restaurant (best Cuban sandwich ever), Mangata and Agua Azul for amazing seafood, Yolo for late-night drinks and snacks, and Drunken Monkey for a fun party vibe. Playa Espadilla is super close and easy to access. When you want a break from the beach, the gorgeous pool at the rental and the perfect ocean views are unbeatable. You can’t go wrong booking this perfect spot!

Extremely responsible hosts. Helped book our excursions which met us at the top of the hill. So helpful on recommendations. Could not have asked for more! We will be back and enjoyed every minute.

Michael did a fantastic job. Very responsive, made you feel at home. Highlights of the place include the pool, the view from the upper floor balcony, and helpful recommendations on everything. The location is close to good places to eat and Manual Antonio National Park, which is not to be missed. He will book the latter for you with an excellent guide.
