Rinku

One of our most favorite places. The house is as gorgeous as described and the service was perfect. Planning excursions was amazingly easy and we loved returning to the house to enjoy the pool after a long day.

Rinku and the team were wonderful and made us feel welcome! Beautiful villa and spectacular sunsets.

Phenomenal! The pictures don’t do this place justice! The views, the pool, it was hard to leave this place to go do excursions! Amazing!

Our stay at Rinku’s home was exceptional. The property is truly beautiful, elegant, perfectly maintained, and even more impressive in person. Rinku’s recommendations were spot on, we had a fantastic dinner at the Four Seasons and great meals at Hacienda Blu and Father Rooster’s. Javier, the house manager, was always available and very attentive. This is a top-tier property with a level of hospitality that makes all the difference. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium stay in the area.

We stayed at Villa Madera for 5 nights to kick off 2026, with our 3 kids age 5, 10 and 17. The view is to die for! Check-in was easy with Edgar there to meet us at the house. Javier helped us get the rental car delivered to the house, book a yacht excursion, a horseback riding tour, and with various restaurant reservations throughout our stay. From our mountainside perch, we watched the new year's eve fireworks from the Four Seasons at Papagayo. We spent an afternoon on a small yacht and did the beach BBQ, which was a highlight of our trip - I highly recommend it because the food and snorkeling were outstanding and the jet skis were really fun. Our favorite restaurant was Hacienda Blu. As for the beaches, Hermosa and Panama are both lovely quiet beaches, great for families. If I were to change anything, I'd decide not rent a car because ubers were convenient and cheap. Also, there isn't a hot tub - the jacuzzi and pool were pretty cold. The option to heat would have been nice.

First off, Rinku was very helpful to connect me with her concierge team. From there, Javier and Alex exceeded any expectations I could have had! They were helpful in coordinating activities with us and were prompt in getting back to me when I had follow up questions. I never felt like a burden. Alex was attentive each day to check to see if we wanted breakfast or anything else that was needed. By the way, traditional Costa Rica breakfast was amazing at the house! Highly recommend you take them up on the offer. We bought the food and our chef took care of the rest! The house itself is breathtaking, particularly the view. Each morning sunrise and sunset were memorable. It is a wonderful, gated community and nothing short of 5-Star rating. We hope to be back in Playa Hermosa area again and see no need to look at any other house. Rinku and the concierge team are top notch! When one of our guests fell ill mid-stay, Alex responded within minutes—arranging assistance and checking in to ensure everything was handled smoothly. Georgina prepared outstanding breakfasts each morning: fresh fruits, gallo pinto, eggs, and strong Costa Rican coffee, all served with care and consistency. Our driver and guide, Marlon, was punctual, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging—enhancing every outing with local insights and safe, comfortable transport. Absolutely stunning!!! Rinku's house was exactly as described!! My friends and I enjoyed the tranquil outdoor space and beautiful interior. Edgar, the house manager was wonderful, and Marilyn was very helpful in finding dinner locations. We did not rent a car, but it was fairly easy to access locations via Uber. Walking down to the beach was easy, however walking back up gave us a great workout! None of us wanted to leave! It truly was paradise!

Had a great trip staying here. The kids loved the pool and the outdoor areas were a great place to sit and watch the sunset.

This was perhaps the most beautiful Airbnb that I have ever stayed in. The view was “to die for.” The service was impeccable, housecleaning and breakfasts every morning. Groceries were delivered and at the house upon our arrival. Rinku’s staff was extremely accommodative. The private chef that we requested made fantastic meals!! It was idyllic. The home was superbly appointed! We never felt that we needed to leave the house so we rarely did. This is home is full of good memories! I will definitely return. So relaxing and beautiful. That pool area is perfect. Thank you so very much Rinku and all the staff there. Gorgeous…!

Amazing

Villa Madera is gorgeous and situated high above Playa Hermosa, facing west for epic views and sunsets. Rinku's team, Marilyn and Edgar, go above and beyond to ensure everything is anticipated. Groceries were delivered prior to arrival, even arranged for dinner pickup up given our late arrival. Housekeeping is top notch akin to high-end hotel sans turndown service but more than made up by included breakfast preparation and service. Motorized blinds and Sonos were nice touches. Note the smart TVs are old so consider bringing you own Apple TV, etc. We encountered minor maintenance issues that Edgar addressed promptly and did not materially distract how comfortable the house was for our 8 night stay. The house is an a gated community with (armed) guards and regular patrols so safety was not a concern. We used Villa Madera as our base for day trips to Bijagua, Rio Celeste, Arenal/Fortuna and Rincón de la Vieja as well local spots Playa Coco, Flamingo and Penca. We would love to return!

This place was absolutely stunning, the house, the view, the owner, and the staff. Everything has been nothing short of amazing. Rinku is very nice and helpful. The Zindis staff has been top notch. This was a last minute, for us, planned trip for my daughter’s baby moon. We are close knit, and she did not want to be alone, just she and her hubby, in another country. She likes to travel with others. My other daughter was also with my husband, my son in law, my daughter, and my hubby. The staff had a bus waiting at the airport, and it took us to the house where Hertz had delivered our car, also put together by the staff. There was welcome fruit from Rinku, yum. Groceries are available in the Luperon down the street. There are also other stores to get groceries that are close. The coffee here is fabulous, Rinku left us some. Try it with milk and brown sugar. Omg. Everyone is pretty much kind here. There is a language barrier, but the people are very patient. We will be back!
